Romance › Re: Me,my Pastor,and The Big Secret by jamace(m): 8:37pm On May 11, 2009
Sister Nameless, run for your life. The pastor is after your apples. If he succeeds, God will chase both of you out of paradise.
Sister, it is high time you lectured the pastor on his role as a pastor. It is obvious that he has derailed from his pastorship.
Know it now that he will not marry you after tasting your apples. Your spirituality will diminish just like his.

Final word: Just flee from that devil of a pastor.

I feel husbands should be allowed. It is better than hussy hanging around because the fear and tension will be higher. Again, I believe the presence of the man will be a morale booster to the wife. Lastly, It is important that hussy and wiffey be together in sweetness and in pain.

Politics › Re: Proposed Police Reforms. What Do You Think? by jamace(m): 3:17pm On May 10, 2009
All the items on the reform agenda except the first is realisable for now. Others are seriously handicapped by the same nigerian corrupt mentality which will only be realisable when Nigeria is completely rebranded.

Our record keeping attitude is marred by corruption. If you have a criminal case and you have a powerful godfather, the file will miss overnight. Or if you have the wherewithal to bribe your way through, the case file will evaporate faster than water vapour. Come to think of it, with all the witch-hunting of junior officers by senior officers for no just cause, can they be justice in such cases? As for the outdated weapons, What was the police equipment fund supposed to cater for? And where is the fund now? Did I hear somebody suggest that persons joining the PF be properly scrutinized? Let me laugh first. grin grin. For your information, I can categorically state that more than 85% of persons admitted into the force these days are through godfathers, in which case it is automatic admission irrespective of how crooked the records may be.

As far as I know nigerians, it is only the committee for the implementation of the reform that will enjoy because they will collect fat allowances while the problems will remain. The problems will continue to stare us in the face untill our leaders rebrand themselves.

I agree that the educational system can still use a LOT of TRANSPARENCY. Let the audited accounts be published on school websites, pasted on school notice boards and everywhere possibly. . .that wouldn't cost the universities anything if they really wanted to be TRANSPARENT.
How possible will this be when the "Freedom of Information Bill" has continued to swing to and fro like a pendulum in the National Assembly? We have rulers leaders, at all levels, who feel more comfortable operating in "darkness" like the biblical Nichodemus?
Politics › Re: The Nigeria Of My Dream ! Can It Be Achieved By Just Sitting In Your House And Making Comments ? by jamace(m): 1:55pm On May 10, 2009
Well maybe not exactly 30%, but even 1% if they shout loud enough can cause change.
Well maybe too not exactly 1%, but even 0.01% can cause the desired change, but not by shouting alone o, but by actions like kidnapping, suicide bombing, assasinations and other terrorism actions towards the corrupt individuals in Nigeria.

Well said. But who is ready to bell the cat?
Naija man, no matter what, will prefer to continue to smoke his garri day- in day- out assuring himself that "once there is life, there is hope", including all of us e-talking tough here. grin grin
