Hello All,
i was scheduled to attend an official conference in US but was denied a non-immigrant visa based on section 214B. i do not no what this means. this happened about a month ago. my company wrote for a review but we did not recieve any response. i've reapplied since my appointment is still within date. Do i need another invitation letter? what should be my reason for reapplying? not sure of my chances. pls advise.

Dear VO,
I applied for B1/B2 visa to attend an official appointment some time in Sept but was denied visa at the consulate in Lagos last month. my company sent a letter to the consular General in support of my invitation and advised me to reapply. I'm due to attnd a 2nd interview in Abuja nextweek. Do i need to present a copy of that latter as my new invitation latter or still present the 1st letter?

i work with an American firm here in Nigeria and was recently invited to attend an official meeting in US next month but was dinied a non-immigrant visa based on section 214B on 17th of last month. my company wrote for a review of the decision but we didnt get any response. The meeting is scheduled to commence on the 15th of Sept. am i eligible to reapply? pls advise.
