joephemzyz:They wrote "print slip" because it's actually a "slip". The only green colors on it are the ones on the national flag on the NYSC logo, and the following: "National Youth Service Corps"...." Service and Humility".... "Corps Members Personal Details"...are also written in green. And then the only red color on the slip is the flame on the torch found on the logo. I think it's nicknamed "green card" because it grants you access into the NYSC orientation camp. Congrats. |
iyke1989:Yeah its cool. If you logout and login into dashboard again, you'll see "print slip". Congrats. |
shooney:If you have generated the Remita and paid at the bank, follow these steps: 1. Log into your NYSC dashboard 2. Place your mouse pointer on "Payment Status" and click on "Remita". 3. Fill in your email address in the space that pops up and click submit or continue. 4. You'll find some things written. Just look for "get query" written in blue and click on it. 5. A box would appear with your transaction details. Somewhere in it, you'll see "successful". Just click "close at the bottom and log out of your dashboard. 6. Login to your dashboard again and you'll see " print slip". That's all. dunamit:Dunamite, I hope you find this useful too. Are you a Josite? |
aydeluxe:If everyone is allowed to work their States of deployment, it would be terrible because a lot of States would have no Corp members...."the nysc union is still pleading the Minister to atlst consider biological children nd adopted children of nysc staff and others"....so in other words, others who ain't biological or adopted children of NYSC staff can go to hell, abi? I really really wish the minister would remain firm and not recede on his decision that "a pcm *MUST be deployed to one of the Four states picked", after all every PCM has four choices to make...but sadly, this is Nigeria. We all know what would happen. |
guruvivicawelt:I just tire for the guy matter. He picked up a fight with another guy also, so I thought it's best for me to wade in. I just hope this no longer continues. |
Dreydoe:Thank God he has gotten his call-up number. It's really weird that he still hasn't been able to thumbprint but got past that stage to the other steps to finish his registration though. Did he try different scanners on different laptops? Maybe he can try calling NYSC helplines to explain the issue and ask them if this is going to pose any threat to his registration in camp. |
steppin:Bro, you're taking this too far. I saw your post which was the genesis of all this and that was very very unnecessary. I mean if we can't find subtle ways to correct people without insulting them directly or indirectly (if at all we need to even correct every error we see), then we might as well quietly mind our business. Some guy "MISTAKINGLY" posted "soak" instead of "socks" or "stockings". That could have been the result of quick typing and/or autocorrect. Any intelligent person would know what he actually intended writing. You should have simply corrected him in a friendly manner or quietly ignored the error. Everyone makes errors, even first class students EXCEPT GOD WHO IS PERFECT! But you quoted him by writing..."soak. Graduate indeed!". That's an insult, bro. You didn't have to rub it in his face that way. Cheers. |
rhymesnoni:Bro, it's unfair to reply her that way. Una go make some people no feel free to ask questions here again and that won't be nice. People assist each other here. Anyway, do you know that items that people buy outside are likely ( I wrote "LIKELY" ) to be twice their prices in camp? You know why? Because the traders know that people NEED those items and CAN'T go outside camp to get them. Prices are hiked in camp. Her question is a wise one and not about being JJC. |
kapable75:Lmao! ![]() "I, Chumaster of Nairaland hereby swear that the uploaded head is my real head". Lol. Funny guys. |
sonymax16:This guy wicked! Lwkmd!! See as you wan break people heart. Lol. Anyone who chose Cross River would be like |
shankara7:Bro, I'm glad you have acknowledged her apology, but I think it would have been cool if you apologized to her in your post too. I mean it should be both ways. No hard feelings. Cheers. |
SNblog:One thing I know is NYSC usually uploads details of PCMs as were sent to them by schools. Errors in names, dates of births, etc are hardly the fault of NYSC body that's why they usually refer PCMs who make enquiries back to their institutions for subsequent corrections. Your DSA has said they can't do anything about it because they have already uploaded names. Still try to politely talk to some staff at the DSA. But if they still insist that there's nothing they can do, I think you should go to camp with your State's certificate of indegene (that's if you have one) since there's still room for correction of certain errors in camp. I feel this might help... Just my thinking. |
Are you a graduate and a prospective corp member in any field related to Finance, Engineering, Statistics, physics, Information Technology, Economics, Commerce, Law, Medicine, Humanities, Social Sciences, Urban and regional planner, Nursing Administration, Education, Theatre? Do you have a national ID card or school ID? Are you willing to work from 8.30am - 2.00pm Mondays to Thursdays and 9.00am - 12.00noon on Fridays? Are you ready to accept and take home a salary of 50,000 usd per month, transport allowances of 5,000 usd per month, Housing allowance of 10,000 usd per month, lunch allowance of 3,000 usd per month? Are you ready to travel out of the country at least twice every quarter to USA or any destination on official assignments? THEN DON'T WORRY! ..YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! .. I'm also looking for such a job!!! If you find one please DM or mention me too. Thanks. |
Funkeadeoye:Yeah, someone explained it earlier. I have Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, UC Web and Opera Mini browsers on my phone. I haven't tried it since he mentioned it though. Thanks. Good luck to those bothering to check their dashboards after successfully printing their green cards. |
chiefojiji:Bros, your own no hard nau. Just tilt the desktop monitor or your laptop to the right and you go watch as your pishure go relocate to the right hand side of your dashboard, then use better gum hold am. Shikenan. ![]() |
Adesuwag:Yeah, I completely forgot that there's usually an option on most mobile sites to click and go to desktop or full site. ![]() Adesuwag:Yeah, I completely forgot that there's usually an option on most mobile sites to click and go to desktop or full site. |
skiberg:Wrong info! Can you post a link where NYSC listed accredited centers for registration? As long as you have a laptop, good Internet connection and a scanner, YOU CAN SUCCESSFULLY REGISTER! I helped over 5 people complete their registration after they scanned their finger prints at cafes. All I needed them to do was scan their signatures and passports and put them in a flash drive for me. I did the compression of scanned documents from the comfort of my home. I have printed all their green cards for them with their call-up numbers on them. NOTE: My house is neither a business center nor an NYSC accredited center. |
monniyi:You can go to NYSC portal on your mobile phone, but you can't log into your dashboard on your mobile phone. If anyone clicks on the registration tab or tries to login his/her dashboard on a mobile phone, the response that person will get is "the page has been removed" and this doesn't mean that there's a problem with your registration. Use a computer... A laptop or desktop. I don't know if it works smoothly on tabs, but it doesn't on phones. |
hadibaba:Exactly what I wrote in some previous pages. For anyone to have gotten a call-up number and printed green card, it means the submission was successful. And please, it's better to stop worrying yourselves logging into your dashboards until call-up letters have been released. |
hadibaba:The answer is no, it's not possible. In camp, no official is going to ask you if you selected preferred States of deployment or not. They already have your details and your green card is an evidence that you successfully completed your registration, paid and got assigned a call-up number. So just relax. Cheers. |
hadibaba:You already successfully registered and even printed your green card, so I don't understand why you're bothering yourself. You don't have any issues. If your registration wasn't successful, there is no way you would have been able to submit successfully and even print your green card. Relax. |
Dreydoe:Did he ever have an injury on both thumbs in the past? Maybe a burn or anything similar? These might be some of the reasons. On the other hand, he could try to apply any lotion (just a little, even Vaseline would do) to moisten the thumbs at the point of registration and then try again. It really works. |
Bigromeo:Why don't you just go to phone section? I think it's the appropriate section for questions like this. |
austinereds:With reference to the part I made bold, why don't you just save yourself the stress for now? You have successfully registered so relax and print your call-up letter around the 3rd week of November. |
dnatz:The sad thing is there are lots of people who don't bother making enquiries about Abuja before selecting it. And speaking of the East, food is expensive there, probably because they don't produce much of it locally. PROBABLY o. Lol. I mean staple food. But it might be OK for someone coming to the East from a place like Port Harcourt. If you have lived up-North before, you'd understand why I say food in the mentioned areas are expensive. It's advisable for PCMs to make enquiries about States that they hope to serve in so they make adequate preparations sha. |
kapable75:Bro, if a drop in Abuja is even 100 naira, you won't see anybody trekking. Drop in Abuja has always been way above 100. Lol. |
dnatz:Well, you can disagree with me. But the fact is what I have stated. And to answer your question, I know Abuja VERY WELL. And I still insist that life in Abuja is not as easy as people think. Transportation, feeding and accommodation. If one gets a house 30 to 100k as you stated, will transportation to and from place of PPA be free? NO. Your PPA can't be in Suleja, mararaba or Karu, because those areas are not Abuja. A lot of Abuja workers stay in these areas that's why the traffic into and out of Abuja town every morning and evening is CRAZY! They are parts of Nasarawa and Niger States. Tomatoes and other food items are expensive in Abuja compared to most towns in Nigeria. And it's a fact that getting a place for PPA is not easy in Abuja as I know for a fact that Corp members USUALLY suffer rejection at companies and organizations a lot. If you stay in Abuja town, you can't compare yourself to the category of people my post is meant for. You are already used to it plus you ALREADY STAY THERE and might know all the shortcuts already so this won't be new to you. It will rather be tough for someone who is not a regular visitor or who is completely new in that town.. Unless such persons already have trustworthy relations in Abuja, then they can be sure of accommodation, but other factors still remain. Now do you understand my point? |
Most of the people who are sad that they could not select Abuja make me wonder if they really know Abuja at all. I know some really know the place, but most people don't. Survival in that town is not easy. It's crazy. I mean housing, transportation and cost of feeding. When you pay transport to move around for three days, your pocket go tell you. And again, it's not so easy getting a place for primary assignment. Finally, employment after service in Abuja is nothing close to your imagination. Unless you just wanna go see "Abuja". |
charlexarmani:Wow. Please what school is that? Someone from your school might be able to relate to this. |
iliyande:Is that 30000 battery capacity I'm seeing? I mean thirty thouuuuuusand |
When people complain about glo Internet data connection, some others post rude comments. Stop being daft. In MOST locations of several states in Nigeria, you can't even enjoy 3G connection on glo, not to talk about 4G. If you enjoy glo in your area, good and fine. But be decent enough not to insult others who complain about the network in their own locations. I'm very sure that the people who complain about glo Internet data connection are far greater in number than those who enjoy smooth service. Glo customer representative called to ask why I ported from the network and I replied with all honesty that they have cheap data quite alright, but it's almost useless in the areas I usually shuttle IN A CITY. It's funny that when you complain about it, some users start asking you questions like "which part of your location do you stay?". Haba, such questions in 2016 ![]() This is HARDLY the case with MTN and Etisalat. I hope some people now understand why the majority of mobile Internet users complain about glo. Cheers. |
