Xiaomi fam, its been quite a long while here. Good to see how much this thread has helped and still helping lots of people. Still really enjoying my Note 9 Pro. But here is a quick question: I have done a comparison of the specs of Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro. The current price gap between both devices (6/128) is not wide. Please does anyone have any possible explanation for this? 2 Likes |

Hello guys. I would very much appreciate any advice from here. I ordered for two pieces of IWO 26 Smartwatch in December last year. I was called today 23rd of February by my local post office delivery guy. But after trying both watches, one of them powered on while the other didn't, even after charging for a while and switching chargers. Both chargers work on one of the wristwatches but non works on the other. The wristwatch is obviously faulty. Now, looking at the attached screen shots (I have not confirmed receipt of the items), what option do you guys advice I pick?

hisable2: If you have three months moratorium, it means that you have to start paying once the third month elapses. I doubt if it can be changed. You already accepted the terms and conditions. But then, if they get a directive from a higher authority to generally extend the moratorium from 3 to 12 months for those concerned, it will give ample time for investment and payback. 100trillion: It's not 12 months moratorium on every agreement though. It showed 3 months for some that I have seen, even though they selected 12 months during the application process. fuwatayo: I know of a few persons that carefully selected 12 months moratorium during the application process but got 3 months moratorium in the offer and acceptance. The bank actually has the right to cut it down, but applicants have the option to reject the offer or not. 1 Like 1 Share |

ThaRealist: I got it from Buletz System in Jos. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. To verify it's an international version, I simply visited https:// www.mi.com/global/verify/#/en/tab/imei and punched in the imei number, and clicked on verify. The staff of the store had no issues with me requesting to verify the device because we were all very friendly over the course of the transaction. See the screen shots below. To be very honest, yes I still have a very awesome experience with this device. This is the best device that I have used. It operates extremely smoothly, I've never experienced any lag. The speed is great (its a 6 gb RAM device). The camera is amazing and the battery is awesome. It charges very fast and I can go over 24 hours without charging (user-dependent) because I play games occasionally at my leisure time. And I must add, the phone never heats. I mean I have never experienced that. I got the device at the cost of 107, 500 in August. Cheers, bro.

A few days ago, I wrote that what they state on one of the pages that pops up when you see your approval is a tenor of 36 months and moratorium of 12 months. But on the acceptance page (where you agree to the terms and conditions of the loan), there's a lengthy memo which I believe that a lot of people don't bother to read. It's stated therein, REPAYMENT STRUCTURE: Fixed amount per month (covering both principal and interest) TENOR: 12 months from Disbursement Date. MORATORIUM: 3 months moratorium on both principal & interest This means that after disbursement, the borrower is expected to start paying back after three months and has a period of 12 months to pay back the loan. I didn't study economics or accounting or anything related, neither do I work in any financial institution. I ALSO DO NOT WORK WITH NIRSAL OR CBN. But I'll try as much as possible to give a breakdown of the repayment structure according to my understanding from the little research that I have done online. First off, anyone who took time to read the terms and conditions on the acceptance page must have noticed that they wrote "9% per annum (all-in) effective March 1st, 2021 till maturity (subject to money market condition)" Now here's an example: If 200k is the amount approved for you at the interest rate of 9% per annum, plus you have a period of 12 months to pay back, then your monthly payment will be around 17, 490.3. This means that your total payment at the end of the 12 months should be 209, 883.54. Meaning that the total interest accrued should be 9,883.54. But if you have 36 months to pay back a loan of 200k (at the same 9% per annum), then your monthly repayments should be around 6359.95. And this means that your total payment should be around 228, 958.08. And that's a total whooping interest of 28, 958.08 in 36 months. I could be wrong, but this is according to my research. There's an online financial calculator (the link is https://www.gtbank.com/financial-calculators) that you all can use to get an idea of the monthly repayment for your respective loans. You can use the amount approved for you or the amount disbursed to you for the calculation. Whatever suits you, but I think its better to do the calculation using the amount approved (and not the amount disbursed). Once again, my advice is this: Please beneficiaries should endeavour to read terms and conditions of loan applications in order to fully understand what they are signing up for. Below are the links to loan calculators: https://www.gtbank.com/financial-calculators https://www.thecalculatorsite.com/finance/calculators/loancalculator.php I hope this helps. kaiceecool: mashad: onyi4classic: Osaro4u2k: |

Oasis340: Sorry sir. If you read my post very carefully, my reply is an explanation to someone who asked about receiving phone calls concerning some loan. And from my explanation, the purported call doesn't have anything to do with NIRSAL / CBN COVID-19 TARGETED CREDIT FACILITY LOAN (which you are referring to). Application for the grant that I posted about did not start until September or October this year. But all the same, be hopeful. I believe that people are still getting approvals for the loan which you applied for. You can keep using the link that several applicants have previously provided to check the status of your loan application. |

hardeyeanc: It's either your friend didn't properly explain it to you or you misunderstood the person. That call was not about the NIRSAL/ CBN COVID-19 Targeted Credit Facility Loan. After the NIRSAL / CBN COVID-19 TCF program application was closed, another one was initiated for registered MSME. It was Federal Government MSME Survival Fund Program. And it's a grant (completely free and not to be paid back) to provide payroll support to a maximum of 10 employees per qualifying MSMEs. During the application, the business owners were required to enter the details of their employees (including the salaries and bank details). Just last week or so, both the business owners and employees started receiving phone calls from agents of the Survival Fund Program asking a few questions in order to verify the details that thier employers had earlier submitted. So it's either your friend has a registered MSME or his / her details were submitted by his / her employer. I know for a fact that funds are already being disbursed to the employees whose details were submitted and verified via that phone call. |

Kabiyesi12: Thanks, bro. And my prayer is for everyone to get an approval. I believe so. People have needs. There are people who need just 100k or 150k to start the process of turning their lives around. I sincerely pray every awaiting applicant receives an approval. Seunannointing: You're welcome. I can't say. But it's best to carefully read the memo on the acceptance page to see what's applicable to a beneficiary before clicking "accept". It's quite lengthy, so it would be OK to just look out for the part where the tenor and moratorium are stated. |

I have been seeing a lot of comments and questions here, so I would like to answer some based on my observations. BUT PLEASE NOTE: I AM NEITHER A STAFF OF NIRSAL MICRO FINANCE BANK NOR CBN emmaak2: To the person that I quoted above (@emmaak2 and to others who share the same thought), it's a wrong assertion. There are over 3 persons whose BVN starts with 222 and got approvals on Tuesday, the 10th of November, this is a fact that I know. So please relax and be hopeful. No one knows the exact criteria they adopt for approvals, so it would be best if we quit coming up with funny theories. Be hopeful. bimbax: To @bimbax, the bolded part is what they stated on one of the pages that popped up when you saw your approval. But on the acceptance page, there's a lengthy memo which I believe that a lot of people don't bother to read. It's stated therein, REPAYMENT STRUCTURE: Fixed amount per month (covering both principal and interest) TENOR: 12 months from Disbursement Date. MORATORIUM: 3 months moratorium on both principal & interest Another part of that memo reads and I quote "The Borrower consents that the Bank shall, without notice or demand, apply any credit balance (whether then due), to which the borrower is at the time beneficially entitled to in any account with the Bank and/or with any other bank/other financial institutions, in (or towards satisfaction of any sum then due and payable (but unpaid) by the Borrower to the Bank under this Agreement." My advice: Please beneficiaries should endeavour to read terms and conditions of loan applications in order to fully understand what they are signing up for. sapientia1: @sapientia1 and others wondering same, my observation lately is that NIRSAL MICRO FINANCE BANK creates accounts for beneficiaries and automatically sends the account numbers to them. Relax and do nothing. Your commercial bank account will be credited. Lutie20: Seunannointing: @Lutie20 and @Seunannointing , the NMFB will automatically open an account for you, but it's your commercial bank account that will be credited. I really hope these answers help. Once more, PLEASE NOTE: I AM NEITHER A STAFF OF NIRSAL MICRO FINANCE BANK NOR CBN 4 Likes 1 Share |

genius43 Xtianvic DarkJeddi Please let's forget about these guys. The argument is becoming stale. Kamaye politely brought up his point, although it's no longer valid because it's not the current rating as the review he looked at must have been before the release of Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. For some other persons like NeoWanZaeed, are you implying that just because it's Samsung, then nothing can beat just an aspect of Samsung? Nobody is saying that all Xiaomi phones are better than all Samsung phones. My brother, like I stated last night, life na turn by turn. This argument is specifically about the camera of Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra as it is currently. I was wondering why the Delhi guy kept mentioning phone review last night when the argument was specifically about camera review by a recognized body whose primary job is camera reviews. GSMArena already did a review of Xiaomi MI 10 Ultra, but they had to specifically do a second review about Xiaomi MI 10 Ultra just a few days ago and this one is just about the camera. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O46ebJ7x3ng Funny enough, I came across a headline by notebookcheck this morning and the caption reads "The Infinix Note 8 leaks onto Geekbench 5 as a potential Poco M2/Redmi 9 rival". Note: keyword here is "potential". See, anything is possible. I really don't know what all this fuss is about Xiaomi MI 10 Ultra camera being rated as the best "CURRENTLY" and some guys feeling its never possible. 13 Likes 1 Share |

But after this response, I won't get into any squabble with you and let you drag me down to your level. I don't even do this. And one last this, you can't post a reply past 9pm and end it with "have a nice day". If your watch is broken, fix it!! NewDelhi: NewDelhi: NewDelhi, I have followed your argument with Xtianvic. I don't know if you're a troll or just someone bringing up some argument based on what you read somewhere else. But bro, no vex say I wan give you this advice: IF YOU MUST TROLL OR ARGUE, DO IT INTELLIGENTLY! What do I mean? Bring up facts or proofs to back your points!! Xtianvic adviced you to Google up DXOmark rating. A simple Google search would have helped you. Then bring your own proofs to counter his points, but you didn't. Instead you kept arguing blindly. Another thing is this: the argument is about one Xiaomi device topping every other phone (in terms of camera). Why are you so pained? Life na turn by turn. E fit be Samsung yesterday, today na Xiaomi. Tomorrow fit be an entirely different brand. For me, I've learnt something new today from the argument, and that's the fact that "DXOmark is the industry's trustworthy standard for camera and lens image quality measurements and ratings." 14 Likes 3 Shares

Mustiboy: Adjust your pre-amp in the equalizer settings. It should help. I don't use power amp, though. I use Player Pro which is one of my best music players. You can use it as a stand-alone player (which comes with 5-band graphic equalizer) or download and install the Player Pro DSP pack (which comes with a 10-band graphic equalizer) after installing the Player Pro itself. Equalizer + (Equalizer plus) is also another very good player. Both give very good sounds once you set the equalizers properly. I can post my equalizer settings if you want. |

Mark9854: Exactly. Just like I did. I got to know about Xiaomi since 2016 when a friend bought the brand. I loved it since then. I had always done my research off nairaland and already made up my mind to get one before I bumped into this thread months ago. When Redmi Note 9S was launched, I wanted to get it or 9 Pro. Took my time to study the sellers on the Thread Store and and had Nurex01 in mind if I don't find it in stores near me. I walked into one of the stores in my location about 10 days ago and luckily they had lots of Xiaomi phones. I requested a Redmi Note 9 Pro 6/128. Using the IMEI, I verified online to be sure that I was getting an international version (na my money wey I suffer get, I no want stories and I need to take responsibility for my decisions), the sellers and I all laughed. I paid and left. Its just 10 days but my experience with this device has been very awesome! 14 Likes |

anastasius: The above response wasn't to me, but I'd like to politely chip in. Emphasis placed on some parts of your comment. My question: Did they hold a gun to your head? My advice: Have a mind of your own. Please don't come up with funny excuses that you allowed yourself to be bullied or harassed into doing something which you ordinarily would not do. veramani31: @veramani31, thank you for giving him such a brief and helpful response. Calling people minions or whatever was very unnecessary. My next few lines would be to a number of persons who keep insulting or using derogatory words here. Most of us are silent readers, but we observe almost everything (in our free time). Firstly to those who feel attacked by lovers of Xiaomi whenever they ask questions. Such persons feel most lovers of Xiaomi on this thread have horrible manner of approach. If that's your belief, then why do you all keep coming back to ask questions and seek help IF you believe you won't be treated fairly? I don't get. Why keep going back to a place where you know that you would only get pissed? Because you'd eventually get a solution to your queries, right? Good and fine, take the solutions and leave without resorting to name-calling or online brawls. You must not respond to everything. Sometimes, it seems some persons just enjoy coming here with a mission to cause troubles. Secondly, to the lovers of Xiaomi... Please anyone who feels he/she can't politely respond to questions being asked here without being rude need not even post a response. I mean those who tend to be quick to fire back (and yes, some are here), if you feel anyone is here to disturb the peace, just ignore, don't respond. If you do, you glorify them and the back-to-back bashing starts. There are folks here who have been offering very helpful solutions to others, don't let your terrible responses make others rubbish the efforts of the good ones. Finally, with that said, I believe it's clear that I am neither in support of anyone (whether a solution seeker or a solution giver) being rude. LEARN TO WALK AWAY! 24 Likes |
