Acquiredollars: It won't work like so if they insist it MUST be by LGA basis! if you read initial modality for the selection , I mean when the form first came out, it was stated that Asps and inspc will be per state while only constables will be per LGA, don't just know why psc decided to do everything per state. per LGA basis will only work for constables can never work for other cadres except they increase the number |

Acquiredollars: Nice breakdown bro, but i think they will need to cut down the number of constables, if they insist that rank and files MUST be by LGA basis!
Before now, i was thinking that the 1500 specialists to be recruited will be ASP's only! am i wrong? when we went for aptitude test I saw pasted list of asps&inspec for specialist while I didn't bother to look for constables who are specialists but am sure their list was pasted too. so is 500 per cadre for the specialists too. why should they cut it down? 500 each for both asps and inspec GD plus 7500 for constables GD that amount to 8500 while specialist 1500 across all cadres making 10,000 all together |

Pls this is not an info, I didn't get it anywhere rather than my personal thought. looking at the numbers allocated per cadre, I think 9 per LGA will only work for constables having got the highest number of all the cadres. there are 774 LGA in Nigeria and the total number of potential recruited officers for constables is 7500 so, if each LGA produces 9 officers then we have 6966 in total which means it can also be more than 9 so this is feasible but for ASPs and inspectors is not possible cos the number for both is 500 each therefore it will be per state while specialists is 1500 for their asp, inspc and cons which can not be possible using LGA basis too but per state. I stand to be corrected, its just my personal thought. |

EnEnPeecee: What i seem to understand from the brawl between the Senate and PSC, is these:
The whole process shall be concluded on the President's return.
Mails will be sent to the successful candidates
Those who will be contacted will go to police training school to commence training after their medical test. (Constables and Inspectors)
The ASPs shortlists shall undergo one more board interview in Abuja before they proceed for their training.
PSC is on the side of per state while The committee chair on police is on the side of per LG
God will see us through in Jesus name amen. No cadre will undergo any interview get that one right. this issue has nothing to do with ASPs but inspectors and constable cadres. the only thing now is that if the issue with two cadres are not resolved it will affect ASP but am sure of this they will paste the final list soon as buhari will lift up the suspension. |

rbabura: President Muhammadu Buhari has waded into the clash between the Senate and the Police Service Commission (PSC) over the recruitment of 10,000 personnel into the police force, Daily Trust has gathered.
The Senate had week ago wrote the PSC, demanding the suspension of the recruitment over alleged irregularity in the exercise.
It was gathered that the Senate demanded the suspension over the criteria adopted by the PSC for the selection of the personnel.
Source told our correspondent that while the Senate said the selection should be based on local government areas, the PSC insisted that it must be done on the basis of equality, per state.
Speaking to our correspondent, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Police, Senator Abu Ibrahim (APC, Katsina South) confirmed that President Buhari has waded into the clash.
“We want the selection to be based on local government because of community policing. For the rank and file, we said 9 persons be selected per local government while for the officers, we said it should be based on state.
“It is not truth that we want to take over the police recruitment. How can we do that? All we are saying is that the selection of personnel from Inspectors downward be based on Local Government to advance community policing in this country. It is only through it that we can police the country effectively, "he said.
He said a final decision would be taken next week when President Buhari arrives from a foreign trip.
“President Buhari has waded into it. A final decision would be taken next week, "he said.
http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/police-recruitment-buhari-wades-into-psc-senate-clash/166623.html#DmYXEykYt3UuUqm6.99 I think the issue here is with inspector cadre and constables not ASPs but whatever the case may be, let us in our various domains pray to God for the list to be released and not suspended. What am sure of is that this recruitment process won't be suspended unless God doesn't hears and answers prayer again. Phil 1:6 made me to understand that " for this I am confident that he that started a good work in my life will surely perfect it. suspension is not perfection therefore psc won't suspend this process. if you believe join me to remind God his promises, am sure he won't fail us. shalom. |

seantei: evening everyone. I have been following the trend for quite a while. And am not surprise with the amount of rumuor, half truth, gossip and grapevine going on. I personally won't blame anyone for circulating adulterated informations. When you don't know what to buy; people can sell you anything. bellow are the fact I have gathered. they are not necessary all 100%, but it will cure you anxiety and correct your pulse. 1: PSC have move to Jigawa...this is certain, with pressure mountain like acid rain, the PSC have like a crawling child move to katsina to conclude the recruitment. 99.9% correct! 2: Next Phase might not be medical; contrary to report of next phase being medical; if the NPF want everyone enlisted having medical; the will simply used the next 6 months; medical will be in camp. 60% certain. 3: recruitment has not been cancel, suspended or adjoined; now for those of you that are having unusually pulse about the health of the recruitment; yes we were suppose to be in camp in July, yes it taking time......malaria, fever....but never cancer! there were hitches. plus the APC government have had a lot of bad blood,Now just like the ministerial list, the government want to take there time. now I don't dont how transparent it will be. not everyone that has God father will get, and not all that don't know Okorie will be abandon. 100%. 4; now for those feeding people with cramps and craps about an increase in slot; it I a lie!!!!!!!!! lie!!!!!!!!! increase......will keep you posted tomorrow on more! I am the observer what could the next stage be? could it be interview or there won't be any interview as some have envisaged here. could this be the final list? just being confused |
