Below is how a social media user, RabidCuriosity, narrated the shocking incident to a popular online platform;

"It all happened on Monday, 28th of November,2016 around 11am. A man dug out what happens to be a grotesque resemblance of a pig's head which was buried under a shop, somewhere in abesan estate,Ipaja,Lagos.
"Everyone was shocked to find such a thing and soon enough, everywhere was filled with exclamations of "Jesus!" "God forbid!" "Nawao!" "human beings"


"According to the lady (new occupant) and her husband(he being the one that dug it out), she had a dream of a big lizard trying to find a way inside the shop but couldn't seem to get in.
"The shop had been vacated for some time by the former occupant.(who was speculated to be an alhaja, eventhough she's a christian who got married to an alfa) and was open to rent. So this lady who hails from the eastern part of nigeria and was said to be a member of "THE CHOSEN" church, took rentage but felt uneasy about the shop,so the couple called for a prayer warrior to join them in prayers and according to them, as the man stepped into the shop he jumped over the spot in which the animal's head was buried and immediately told them there was something wrong with that particular entrance point and they should dig it up, an act they heeded to on the 28th.
The husaband after searching fruitlessly for a bricklayer, decided to break the cemented floor and dig it up himself. According to him, the suspicious spot looked different from the others and could have suggested that the act was carried out not too long sometime ago.
"From the various shops around were diverse fingers pointed as to who was actually the culprit.while the neighbour to the former occupant claims she was severely and severally attacked spiritually by her and how she countered with prayers that drove her away as no one knew when she did abadon the shop acclaimming that her ex-neighbour sold same items as her post the formers' arrival.


"Another not too far way chose to disbelieve probably due to the shock of the discovery and would rather she comes and disclaim herself enough to be cleared. (Though i don't see that happening). She also pointed to the fact that the last occupant before her had the equipments and materials needed to perpetrate the act and still occupies a shop next to the affected one, another irregularity she pointed out was the odd marketing days and hours the last occupant usually opened shop for sales.
"There abounds speculations and suspicions, dismay and dismal, surrounding this discovery but even as the earth rotates into a new horizon oblivious of this occurrence in this tiny dot on the globe, there abounds the fact that a disturbing memory has been embedded in the minds of volatile witnesses in such a mystery that even taylor swift would find it hard to shake it off."

and Saturday 18 June 2016 for Batches 1 and 2 respectively, will not be allowed to attend the interview. Any candidate in Batch 2 who is seen around the NDA premises before 18 June 2016, will be disqualified. All candidates will be accommodated and fed throughout the duration of their stay for the AFSB.
All candidates will undergo a screening exercise which will involve certificates/credentials screening, medical and physical fitness tests amongst others. Only candidates who pass the screening exercise will qualify to continue with the interview. Thus, any candidate that fails at any stage of the screening (documents verification and medical screening) will be asked to leave the NDA premises. One or 2 representatives from each state of the federation including the FCT will be allowed to screen and authenticate the indigeneship status of all candidates from their states on the first day of screening only.
Such representatives must come along with a letter of introduction signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG). Details of the modalities for the indigeneship screening will be communicated to the Office of the SSG of the respective States as well as the FCT.
Candidates MUST bring along the original and 2 photocopies each of the following documents:
a. JAMB UTME Original Result Slip 2016. If you do not have this document,
b. Acknowledgement Form and NDA Examination Admission Card.
c. Academic Certificates / Statements of Result and Testimonials for Primary and Secondary Schools (Junior and Senior).
d. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, preferably Birth Certificate.
e. Letter of Attestation of State/Local Government Indigeneship duly signed by the SSG or Chairman of Local Government, as the case may be. Certification obtained from a military officer from the candidate’s state of origin, who must be of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and above or equivalent in the Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Air Force, may be used in place of Local Government Indigeneship Certificate. In this case, the officer must indicate his formation/unit, appointment, contact address, phone numbers and e-mail address. The officer must also affix formation/unit
stamp and sign.
f. Letter of Consent from Parent/Guardian.
Candidates are to download both the Attestation and Letter of Consent Forms from the NDA applications portal/NDA website and complete same.
Candidates who fail to bring along the documents listed above will be disqualified. Any alterations on the documents will attract outright disqualification.
Candidates are to also bring along the following items:
a. Writing materials.
b. Three blue shorts and 3 white (round-neck) T-shirts.
c. A pair of white canvas shoes and 3 pairs of white socks.

Reactions are still pouring in over some of the
comments made by President Muhammadu Buhari
during his recent presidential chat.
A couple of Nigerian activists and lawyers that spoke
to Premium Times condemned the president for
saying his government will continue to detain two
prominent detainees – former National Security
Adviser, Sambo Dasuki and the leader of the
separatist group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)
– Nnamdi Kanu, despite several court orders that
they should be released from detention.
Mr Dasuki is facing corruption charges over alleged
diversion of $2.1 billion meant for the procurement of
arms while Mr. Kanu was charged for treasonable
felony.
On Dasuki’s trial, Buhari had said: “If you see the
atrocities these people committed against this country,
we
can’t allow them to jump bail. What of the over two
million people displaced, most of them orphans whose
fathers have been killed? We cannot allow that.”
On Kanu’s case Buhari said: “And the one you are
calling Kanu, do you know he has two passports – one
Nigerian, one British – and he came into this country
without any passport? Do you know he came into this
country with sophisticated equipment and was
broadcasting for Radio Biafra?”
A human rights lawyer, Ebun Adegboruwa, described
the comment as a “national embarrassment”, adding
that Buhari proved by his open defiance of the
judiciary that he remained a dictator at heart.
He said: “We appreciate the President because he has
spoken from his heart and gave us the correct
impression
of who he is.
“Under Section 287 of the 1999 constitution, all persons
exercising judicial, executive or legislative power must
have respect for the order of the court. It is not proper
for the president to choose which order to respect or to
obey. Given that the president assumed office through
the
rule of law, it is totally uncharitable to be humiliating the
judiciary openly in a presidential chat.
“The reason why this is very difficult is that once we
resort to self-rule, once we resort to a situation where
the
leadership is breathing down lawlessness, then anarchy
will come because if a president will not obey a court
order, a business man will not obey it, policemen will not
obey it.
“It would be promoting anarchy. I am sure in some
quarters the SSS people are rejoicing. Overzealous
security officials and rejoicing, and perhaps using the
President’s comment as reason to put people in custody
and breed impunity.”
On his part, Chairman of the Civil Society Network
Against Corruption (CSNAC), Lanre Suraju said the
President’s comment was “unfortunate”, adding that
his utterance was capable of undermining security
agencies in their jobs.
He said: “The utterance of the president yesterday
(Wednesday) only shows that there is a government
agenda specifically and deliberately skewed to
perpetually
keep the guy in detention. And that is most unfortunate.
That is also not only pitching the judiciary against the
executive, it is also showing that there would be a
measure of arbitrariness on the part of the executive.
“The case of Nnamdi Kanu is also unfortunate. It is an
extra-judicial action. Basically, if he is being charged for
treason, there is also certain condition that needs to be
met before bail can be granted. If the lawyers of the
government have failed to establish the magnitude of
his
offence, and the court in its own wisdom has granted
that
bail, the SSS has no basis and no reason under the rule
of law to perpetually keep him in detention

competing food items, we think the time has come
for the nation’s health agencies to undertake a

with a definite statement on their safety.
Are imported frozen chicken
safe for consumption or not? This is the big
question that the National Agency for Food, Drug
Administration and Control (NAFDAC), all other
relevant agencies and the Federal Ministry of
Health must answer.
