Abuja is one hell of an overrated place. It doesn't have its own economy beyond politics and looting. People who haven't traveled to civilized countries would equate it to a paradise.. Everything there requires one stupid Aboki connection or the other.
If I were to be given the option of living in the best parts of Abuja or similar living standards places in Lagos, I'd choose Lagos anyday anytime.
Real dumb ass city. Fake life, weak economy outside of politics, zero mental stimulation and ingenuity beyond real estate, scrambling for connection, lazy folks heavily dependent on stolen public funds, no active industries. Just infrastructure that preserves the ruling class.

When I see Abuja IGR figures, I usually wonder the industries in Abuja that generate such billions yearly. I can understand Lagos, Rivers, Ogun IGR figures but I don't know ow any prominent industry in Abuja aside politics.
