You don't need transit visa. If you're arriving in the evening and your second flight is the next day, they're supposed to provide hotel accomodation for you.

What to Know

In case this is your first international flight, note the following:

1. Print and arrange all relevant documents
2. Identify your terminal before travel date
3. Check-in and select your seat online (airline website or app)
4. Pack your 2 × 23kg and 10kg bags
5. Arrive at the airport 3-4 hours before your flight
6. Scan your bags at the terminal gate/entrance
7. You may be asked to pay 3-4k by the Agriculture guys if you carry a lot of food
8. Weigh your bags at the weighing stand
9. Go to your airline counter to complete check-in formalities and get your boarding passes

No you can't. Only dollar card can work. Try to sort it out early. This can delay you for up to 2-3 days. Better still have someone you trust pay for you from abroad while you transfer the naira equivalent. Or open a dollar account and use your card to pay.

If you earn 500k in this economy and you drive or use uber a lot to work and other social activities.... Your monthly expenses on transportation alone will be about 150k-300k You have not factor in feeding. If you're a family man or one with other family responsibilities, then it will be worse. 500k is big yet. It's less than $400 .... This how bad the country is. You cannot even save out of it except you manage go cut down on necessities like using public transportation and managing food stuff
