I have been doing this salary work for the past 10 years now that I have graduated. The salary is not encouraging, initially I started small so that I could gain more experience.

Now, I have the experience but no capitol to establish myself. I prefer to have business of my own from the experience I have gathered so far working with one man business and registered companies.

Don't quit yout job to start a business of 300k. Rather find other source of income. I don't have a job now. I'm hurzling. But, I must tell you. Its mot easy anywhere. The more source of income you have the better. Not quiting. Besides, apart from online, there's no meaningful business you would start with less than 3m. Some 5m+ and it's mot a guarantee that you will succeed.

Don't quit your job to start a business of 300k. You will end up eating the capital to survive. Rather start a passive business while still working. Even if the profit is 1k daily. Start.

My Camry 03 smokes heavily and the engine compression is very low, I had to park the car since last week at home. My mechanic said I should bring 150k to open the engine and check the crankshaft, rings and top cylinder, which im very doubtful.
Today I scanned the car and got error codes P0303 P0304 and P0300.

How long have the engine served you? If it's upto 5 years of steady driving.
I will advise you buy a complete or half engine block.
That 150k might be a waste and you will end up buying a new engine. From experience.

Go with your mechanic. Check the temperature of the external cover of the catalyst after test drive . Try driving the car up hill to see power. Test drive with Ac on. Check power with step down acceleration. All things being equal, a bad fuel pump can also cause this issues.

What you have here is poor diagnosis leading to a lot of guess work.

A functional steering pump can easily be tested by hand using ps steering oil before installing in a vehicle . While you will be unable to decipher how much pressure it will produce, you will have fair idea while rotating it.

I have never believed in the repair process of seeing racks largely due to the unavailability of genuine replacement kits. New after markets steering racks are available in the market and will be much better off to the foreign used steering racks called tokumbor or the repairs conducted on your current unit which look like a failure.

Replace mechanic, replace steering rack and pressure hose with new parts, check your original steering pump by hand and fluid while rotating clockwise to see if it builds up pressure. If it does install back to vehicle , if not replace with a brand new part.


This is a capital intensive job. Good luck.

Real Capital intensive . I once changed 5 steering pump. That thing is annoying and they don't give guarantee.

Hi guys, my car Toyota Camry 04 V4 , My issue is that the car do over heat when I speed from 80 upwards and whenever I ON AC, but when am in stand still traffic even for two hours, it won't over heat but once I speed off , the temperature will be raising and if I slow down it will also be going down.

This also happens when I ON my AC. The engine sound normal.

When I open bonnet to check, water will be boiling at the water reserve ( asin the water from radiator will be going back to water reserve and it will be boiling )

I bought a new radiator
Filled with coolant and little water
New fan that blows like Benz fan🤣
Now even in the hotest weather no over heating.... I use Ac always and that's why I haven't sold the car... It's getting to a year plus I did this and no single issues even during the hotest of weather

Right now cars are expensive. The class of tokumbo cars you can get for 3m is EOD, 03 Camry..... Even Corolla sells for 3.5+ I wouldn't advice such. Rather, let him up his budget to 3.5m and get a sharp Naija used Camry 011 or 012 Accord or 010 C class benz. That will serve him good and he can resell it even higher in the next few years, if properly maintained. Or better still increase his budget to 4.5m and buy a tokumbo 011 Camry. They hold their value, you can resell anytime. 3m can't get you a 10 year old tokumbo car.

Congratulations.... Lagos gives you a better chance to grow in excellence. 200k is ok, but isn't the goal you know. Stay in Lagos and chase excellence.

The bottom of the car has rusted, several holes are visible, and you can only lift the car to change the tyre from the tyre frame itself.

I have also been recently told that the back beam has a crack as well.

How long do you intend to keep the car? Is the engine and gear very sound? Is the interior very neat? Are other functions working perfectly? Can you afford another car if you sell it off?
It's a big car and not too old to scrap.
Check if the beam is rusted. If it's not, get a good gas welder. Let them do a perfect gas welding for you. Carefully inspect it. Then apply spray and avoid water logged area.
