was any of dis guys a writer?...i dnt mean scientific books oo....if they didnt apply their scientific knowledge to solving human needs we would probably be using steam engines now

There was a debate between me and a friend on this issue. Tho I'm a science student, I decided to put up my first story on nairaland. A frnd saw it and he said true scientist dont write stories but they rather apply their knowledge on other things. I disagreed with him and said being a scientist doesnt stop you from being a writer and vice versa. What do you think?

i would say dats another lost writer and probably went to science dept. because of d respect for science dept and not for d passion...parent factors can also be d cause...almost every parent are lyk i want my son to be a Doctor not allowing him to go for his passion

Intelligence is not measured by academics alone, its also dependent on how she is able to make right decisions,her moral upbringing and discipline

Well...different universities have different requirements based on how popular the university is. That is why you have to aim for a first, or 2.1 to become competitive for further studies and jobs.
