I did my interview and capturing last week Thursday, I got a mail today to come pick up. Who else got mail during their time?
Picked it up very early this morning. So it took me 4 working days to get my enhanced 32 pages passport. Sounds too good to be true but it works!

Sorry, what details about your guarantor did you submit... I found one of my old friend who has I just needed to be sure about things I might be needing from my guarantor
Normal details, my friend also acted as my guarantor. Name, address, occupation and his asset (money or properties)

I captured at Ikoyi office not long ago, I was in and out in less than 2hrs. Servicom was really helpful and the brown official file given by Servicom for DIY people makes it so seamless and top priority.
For those that captured at Ikoyi recently, how long does it take to get the passport. I was only given a plain paper with number written on it and was told that is what I would use for collection.

Hi guy, I started the DIY process yesterday, paid online and have my other docs ready. Although the interview date I was given is Dec 1st (quite far), I intend going to Ikoyi office tomorrow for interview and capture. Seems I read some people say one can go for it any day, would I be queried for going tomorrow?

I find it difficult to sleep early at nights and even during the day.

I could lie in bed for up to an hour or two before eventually falling asleep and later waking up to urinate 2 - 3 hours (even when I intentionally reduce the intake of fluid) into the sleep.

Also, take notice that I rarely have deep sleep. I don't take alcohol, or caffeine.

It's really disheartening almost every night that I'm afraid I wouldn't fall asleep, both in the day and at nights.

Doctors in the house, please, how can I overcome this?

Cc
lalasticlala, help push to front page as I'm convinced so many people suffer same.

Thanks
Bro, I seem to be having similar issues, probably not as chronic as yours

For a strictly day time use, I would rather go the AC coupled way.
Please can you give an estimate of how much you got the Pylons for?

Any hint to the latter?

Maybe you missed where he said he has some lithium installs under his belt, and will like to have real world experience of whatever service he offers to his clients?.... Idk, I'm just saying.

I don't think he is "showing off" as your post seems to imply. Anyone not suffering with some inferiority complex shouldn't be bothered about how many gigawatts of PV another person installs or generates.... I have approximately two 300w pv modules, a 180w battery, a fangpusun MPPT 50/12v and a converted 750w UPS I have been using for a year plus now (and i observe the 50% DoD rule btw). It serves me just right, for now and i am happy reading about other people's huge installs and never questioned why someone else spends top dollar for his installation. Especially if he willingly shares his knowledge here_I have been an addict of this thread for years now so i know my setup is "microlly micro". Lol

In your criticisms, your choice of words show jealousy or recklessness of speech. You can do better bro.

Peace
But you people have time sha

Pylon appears to be the better battery based on hard core field testing.

BYD is also about 13% more expensive for thesame Kwh.

See report below.

https://www-solarquotes-com-au.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.solarquotes.com.au/blog/battery-test-7th-report/amp/

I have yet to see a strong case made for AC coupled systems in Nigeria especially when there is poor grid supply and a requirement for energy storage for night time use.

I couldn't make a review on the 1st batch of lithium batteries. Another batch has landed and I have the time to the reviews. I have two units of these. 100ah 48v each. Will keep the house updated.

Call/whatapp 08117398294 for your solar panels and batteries.

Well done, what's the landing cost of this unit?

How much is it?
I have a
105,000 mah power bank that lasts for 11 hours
The issue is it also takes about a day to charge fully.

And cant be charged with small gen.

43k, 220Wh Lithium capacity, ups function, charged in 3hrs. It can also power other AC devices

Please where did you get the batteries?

If I can get it that cheap ,I will rather just get two and get solar panels later
Are you not better off with a Lithium integrated Laptop Powerbank?

Something like the picture attached that can work with 12V AC-DC adapter

The problem is few people intentionality willfully abuse their system. For majority abuse happens when you use the wrong components. Wrong charger wrong BMS or even the wrong Lithium packs. Which again is why I said Lithium works best in a closed loop system where all is considered where the coupling integration is all done for the user with safety and anti abuse measures built in. This is what tesla brings to the table.. A Turnkey solution. And it is what you get with your smartphone everything is well designed to the point u don't even know what battery tech powers it. Most phones u can't even see the battery or remove it.

The skill level of installing lithium in a traditional good ol clubber together assembled offgrid setup is very high the number of things that have to be just right is alot and margin of failure very very thin. The cost is so much that you just have to get it right the first time or millions go down the drain (if you are lucky)
Apt! All in one Lithium solution coming soon... Made in 9ja. Watch this space

Oga Jamzig don't do like this na. Tell us more - internals, specs and price expectations.

Is this a DIY project? or you are building for for commercial purposes?

Oga Niyi, its a product for commercial purpose not a DIY project. Battery chemistry is Li NMC, Inbuilt MPPT, AC charger(SMPS), BMS, Internal Automatic Transfer Switch with voltage regulator, Transformerless Inverter. Its still undergoing final tests as the picture posted is a prototype. Its been undergoing R & D for almost a year to perfect the design. That's all details I can give for now. Concerning price expectation, its definitely going to be cheaper since its going to be manufactured here. I work with the company developing it.

Well ...... there should not .....

But I think if you are paranoid, or want to go overboard with your protections....

Please let me defer to core power experts like Oga Pranil to talk about this one please - whether or not one still needs an SPD given sufficient earthing/grounding in place.

Thanks
