Renewable Energy is the solution to Sustainable Energy and Nigeria's Energy Needs. I would like to quote bigrovar here, "Its cheaper to conserve than it is to generate" #yaligoesgreen2017 #YALIGoesGreen #renewableenergy #solarenergy

harveyspec: I want to buy solarworld panel 265w with the following specs
Maximum Power Voltage (Vmpp) : 30.7 Volts Maximum System Voltage : 1000 Volts Maximum Power Current (Impp) : 8.56 Amps Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) : 38.9 Volts Short Circuit Current (Isc) : 9.18 Amps Cell Configuration : 60 cell in sries, (156mm x 156mm)
What's the maximum number of panels that can go with renogy mppt 40A CC(CMD-40)
my battery is 24v Based on my little knowledge 4 × 265W panels should do... making it 1060W in total. Since its already stated in the spec sheet that max PV input Power for the 40A @24V is 1040W, you are in the range as the said 1060W from is rated at STC but in a real life situation, your PV array might not generate up to that due to some constraints. But I'll leave it to the professionals to give a more concise answer |

GeorgeD1: are we sure this used batteries are not the source of all these fake batteries flooding the market nowadays?
they probably buy them off gullible peeps like us, refill them with electrolyte and re-label them like brand new. Hmmm... If they are refilled with Electrolyte, what's the probable average number of cycles it can go? Maybe someone can enlighten us on this |

mrnigeria: Lol... More than sixty courses sef. I've done more than 40 courses in just two years... CSC DEPT. May God help us. Those chicks tried sha... More grease to their whatever. Bro e no easy jare... that perfect score is IMPOSSIBLE in FUNAAB, owing to the fact that every single course offered no matter how small the unit is or how irrelevant it is to your field contributes to your CGPA. I dont know why they all cant adopt a unified grading system |
Education › Re: UNILAG VC Defends Graduates’ 5.0 CGPA by Jamzig1(m): 7:50am On Jan 30, 2017 |
Someone enlighten me. Is the grading system in Unilag different from other Federal Universities? Here in FUNAAB, to graduate with a perfect score of 5.00, one Must get A in all courses offered through out your entire stay in the University. If the total courses offered is 60, you must get A in all 60 courses...This is tougher than passing through the needle's eyes considering those practical courses, General courses etc. Or is Unilag different? |

Hello everyone, nice thread so far. My passion for renewable and sustainable energy knows no bound.. though I am still an undergraduate in one of the Federal Universities in Southwest, Nigeria. I have read virtually everything one needs to read about Solar Energy, watched virtually every youtube video. But i would really love to get first hand field experience. I am in my penultimate year in school studying Physics... I look forward to starting my Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme(SIWES) also known as IT soon. I am in dire need of a reputable Solar Energy Company in Lagos, Nigeria for SIWES placement . I would really appreciate any help from my bosses here.. Thanks in advance |
