guassian: oh yes, and fell free to post any questions here if you want a solution.
Ask us anything even up to half of the kingdom and it shall be given to you... Do you know anywhere in Lagos where I can enrol for training on embedded systems...starting with C and assembly language programming, microcontrollers, schematic, simulation and PCB designing softwares and electronic circuits |

acorntree: What you need most is deep interest and passion for electronics. With physics and electronics degree programme , you are on a good path to becoming an embedded electronic engineer. You also need to know that your degree programme may not be sufficient for you, as most programme are not practically well grounded, so be self taught. Join online electronics forum.Build other people circuit, use other people codes, build things. Start your learning using kits .If you are interested in programming stuff, you need to learn c language first not assemly language.Assembly is not for novice.Start with arduino then move to other microcontrollers when you have gain enough experience. with time you will start designing your own circuit and writing your own code from scratch.Electronics is fun ,what you can think you you can equally implement electronically.Programming is just a step by step of your idea on how you want to control things, dont be scared , with time you will become an expert in this. Thanks a lot sir..I will take to the invaluable advice. Personal learning seem a little bit tasking although i have started that. Do you know of any training institute where i can learn the technical know-how probably while on break? I am based in Lagos. Also i would appreciate any e-book you can refer me to. Thanks |

alotofgrace: Yeah bro ...Physics is very good....I'm an elect/elect grad and I must tell you....major in Physics Electronics and lay ur hands on hardware programming such as assembly language , c language vb.net..... And somecct designs too...
With these....you will stand on the same platform as an Embedded System Engineer.
And don't forget to check out the site called engineersgarage.com Howstuffwork.com Pcb..... Thanks man, I have been following u guyz since....the challenge I see is programming..I shall lay my hands on Assembly and C asap...thanks again |

Hello Nairalanders, I need advice(s) from
experienced guys in the house. I am currently
studying PHYSICS in the Federal University of
Agriculture, Abeokuta(FUNAAB). Will be starting
200L in less than two months time. The thing is i
have been reading some materials online on
embedded systems electronics especially on this
forum. It caught my interest because I am an
hobbyist in electronics. So I want to go into
Embedded Systems electronics as a career. Is it
advisable? I would love to here your opinion(s)
as soon as possible. Bless you

Nairaland General › A Greater Nigeria Without Me?...impossible!!! by Jamzig1(op): 7:13am On Oct 01, 2015 |
A Greater Nigeria without me?...Impossible!!! 55 years ago, Nigeria gained its independence from the British colonial masters. After so much struggle by the great Nationalists like Herbert Macaulay, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello e.t.c. Alas! on 1st October, 1960 we were Independent. Its 55 years now, are we there yet? 55 years but Nigeria still remain a developing Nation. There is a misconception that our leaders are to blame for the set-back we are facing. Wrong! You and I are to blame. Our government can't do it all. It is high time we went back to our boards and re-trace our steps. Many of us dream of becoming Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Accountants, Scientists, Bankers e.t.c. but have we ever thought of how we want to contribute our quota to the development of our country with all these? For me I see this celebration of Independence day as a day to sit, meditate, set goals on how to contribute my quota to the development of our Nigeria. Think of how to make an Impact. "A life of no Impact is a life of no value", make an impact today. To Nigerians outside, denying their fatherland, I leave you to the lyrics of Sound Sultan's "Motherland". Like the yoruba would say, "Ajo o le dabi ile". No matter where you are don't forget home, Nigeria is our home, our Motherland. Happy Independence Anniversary to every Nigerian. Remember, a greater Nigeria without me is IMPOSSIBLE. A greater Nigeria, a Change starts with me. #Nigeria_@55 #See_the_bigger_picture #Change_starts_with_me #Arise_o_Compatriots © Ozigi Jamiu Asipita cc: Lalasticlala seun

Things that are more of a theory than a fact. e.g Calculus. I'm with you on this...what annoys me most is the statement "show that/prove that" |
