gbengarock: Tho' simple it seems but i've been on this since i was in secondary school. It's a problem we created for ourselves by removing the square(power of 2) and substituting with 'x' in the pythagoras triple
As we all know that 3^2+4^2=5^2
note: ^2 denotes 'raised to power of 2'

Question: prove that x=2 in 3^x+4^x=5^x

As an engineering student, you have to master your o'level core subjects first. You can then proceed with Pure Mathematics for advanced level by Bunday and Fundamentals of Physics by Haliday and Reisnick.

Yea, you need just one card for the two though.

Normally, you are to buy two cards, one for original result and the other for admission letters. A card goes for a thousand naira at JAMB office, and ranges from N1200 to N1500 at retail shops.

Errrh, actually, when I did mine then, I printed directly from the page. They were not in pdf format, unlike OAU PUTME result.

JAMB e-facility card. You print from JAMB website. School admission letter will be ready when it's some days to resumption. You will not need any card to print that one.

I think it depends on the faculty, some faculties change their candidates' courses during registration if they do not meet up with the o'level requirements of their chosen course. That one is simple and straightforward.

But, if you do not like the course you are given, having met its requirements, it's a bit difficult to change it. You may need some legs to do that. It would be a bit easier if you also passed the cut off for such course. If not ehn....

If you hope to change it in 200L, you will need to have a good CGPA before your intended department will consider accepting you. Your initial department may not want to release one of the best in their department too if you happen to be one of them with your good CGPA.

So, I say it's possible to change but kind of difficult. If you "know someone", start connecting now!

When you log in with your access card, a page with five documents will be opened. Three of the documents need not be printed, they contain some warning against examination malpractices or something like that. The other two documents are the admission letters: one is watermarked "original copy (for candidate's use)", and the other "duplicate (for institution's use)". You print two coloured copies of each of them.

Well, you can print whenever you like, even next year during registration. But, you know, as a "bloody" fresher-to-be, just as we were then, you would want to print it immediately. Yea, it's all good. Just get two coloured copies of each type - Candidate's copy and institution's copy.

Well, some "runs" are legal, God favours such. For example: change of course to get admitted for a course whose cut off the candidate passed.

@Leitner, enter the building from the entrance around the HSLTs and check the 1st/2nd floor. Check the notice boards there, it's on one small notice board at a very tight corner. You can also ask around there but I doubt if they would know.

Actually, no student wants it to result in school closure. Yea, everyone cares about graduating at the appropriate time. The school management are just so wicked that the only reaction they would have to a peaceful protest is an indefinite shutdown.

Anyway, there is no aluta for now. Everyone is busy with their lectures, everything is going fine. An opinion poll was conducted today for students to choose whether to continue the struggle or forget about it. But sha, all na "packaging", everyone knows that majority of us are fed up. So, no aluta in our "to-do" list for now.

OAU is for learning and culture. The integral part of the culture is aluta against all oppressions.
One would expect that, as an aspirant of a school, you should have made some findings on it. So, I do not expect anyone to complain here.
