ukukaegbu: That dude na sabi guy. He knows that the older man is dumb but they still gave him a chess board.
Says who? I don't care for what side of the political divide you are on, but to imagine that President Tinubu, you have to be either extremely dumb or irredeemably mischievous. No two ways about it. Whatever you believe Tinubu has ever done, does or will do in his life (I don't care which of the many popular things on either side of the political divide people believe about him) requires a high level of intelligence. You cannot get to the spot he is in, following same path (whatever you believe he followed) without being highly intelligent. |

Why another federal university in Imo when there is FUTO?
Why not establish in another state with no federal university yet? |
Politics › Re: Will President Tinubu Ever Forgive Governor Sanwo-Olu? By Tunde Omole by jaryeh(m): 11:48am On Jun 07, 2025 |
Mjshexy: So the governor should have rigged the election in favour of Tinubu because he was in charge of the state's resources just like other evil minded governors did against the votes of the masses! This writer is one of the main cause of the problems Nigerians are facing today, how wicked and conscience-dead can people be Did you read the post though? Did Sanwo-olu rig his own election that came weeks after? The writer said he went out of his way (was all over the place mending fences, visiting, begging and mobilizing). If he did same towards the presidential election, Tinubu wouldn't lose, considering how close the margin was. Anyway, I don't believe there's a problem yet. |
Politics › Re: It’s Not Too Late To Punish Babangida For June 12 Election Annulment- Sowore by jaryeh(m): 2:17pm On Feb 22, 2025 |
Should a president get tried for "crimes" he committed while in office, after he has left office?
Even trickier is, should a head of state (a legitimate totalitarian I dare say) be punished for "crimes" he committed while in office, after he has left office? Who gets to define "crime" for a totalitarian? On what basis?
Should laws be rather retroactively applied to punish such a "criminal"? Would that be fair? |

Sylverly: I made a case on this on Twitter, funny enough the retweets weren't that much. Seems most of you don't want to fight for what you deserve. I just made a post on nairaland on that. I have actually tried, it's left for those affected to push it. Let's start with creating a WhatsApp group. Kindly create one and send the link here for affected persons to anonymously join. We'll coordinate all activities from there and carry on till we get their attention. What do you think? |

Agbami is just changing goal post every year. Let's wait till the ones that got verification email get paid, and see if anyone in our set gets paid. If they do, we will have a ground to pressure them with complaint emails and calls, and also a front-page thread if need be. |
