bataderemi:Yes o. Just once. January this year. I don tire for them sef. |
brizie78:Boss mi, make we calm abeg. Agbami still try na, them don pay once since 2015. I no dey even hear anything from ExxonMobil since 2015. |
Miracy:Huh? This thread still exists? I'm here o. Just passing by though. |
Hello. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student in need of placement for a 6-month IT programme to begin in September. I am interested in technical exposure with reasonable pay. Thanks in advance. |
Yea. I endorse this post. Approximately everything is correct, I think. |
bammydele1:OK boss. Thanks a lot. God bless you. |
bammydele1:lol. Thanks boss. Congratulations! Pls one more question. Are you a new (2015) beneficiary too? I just wanna be very sure so I don't waste my resources going to the bank again. |
bammydele1:Hello. Pls what documents were you asked to bring? You mean Alagbaka branch, right? |
Pls add me too, 08091314038. |
Pls is there any deadline? I've been very busy. |
OPEYEMIOAU:You have no problem. |
Mathematicians in the house, I salute o. Pls, does anyone know where or how I can get a pdf copy of Schaum's outline of vector analysis? |
efficiencie:Thanks bro. More power to your elbow. |
babysmart:Yea. You guys should just relax, eat well, read ahead and wait for OAU. |
babysmart:The current session ends in April as scheduled, and 2014/2015 fresh students' resumption slated for May 3rd remains intact. Second semester exams start on 31st of March. All things been equal, we'll be in lecture-free week during the presidential election period. So, I don't think there will be any election break as there will not be governorship election in Osun state and therefore there is no need for OAU to rush things or for you to be anxious. |
mistabiola:Be guided man! Someone posted pictures of a protest, alleged that corps members were beaten up and you immediately accepted that it's true without asking even a question. Come on............apologize and edit your comment or remain what you are. |
Chai! Long time........ I need help on this pls.. tag: jackpot, Alphamaximus, dejt4u, doubledx, Richie and other generals. I don forget una names finish o.
|
hausadreturn:I think the same reason why some students protested. I hope you get it now. I saw it myself. |
johndarey:I want to believe you were there. The fact that you didn't see him when he was stoned doesn't mean he was not stoned. Your post would have been okay if you had pointed out that you didn't see anyone stoning him. Brother, he was stoned by angry students when he came down from his vehicle at Sports Complex, his guards blocked the stones while the armed men scared the students away. |
dejt4u:Hello bro. Long time. I hope you're doing fine. |
What Sahara reporters wrote sums up the whole thing. Jonathan was stoned by angry students. He was seriously disgraced today. Noone could have taken a picture of the throwing of stones because it was a fast scene, his security operatives scared the students with their heavy guns immediately. It's not political, it's our culture here - we don't welcome oppressors. |
I think Agric. and Mech. are somewhat closely related in that they both deal with machines. But Mechanical is more versatile and more revered both locally and internationally. And lastly, Agricultural, Mechanical (formally known as Military), and Civil engineering were the first engineering disciplines. They started when men of those days realized that they needed specialized tools to meet their immediate needs - food, shelter and protection in times of war. So, Mech. isn't a branch of any engineering discipline just as Agric Engineering. |
ERCROSS:No bro. It's justice. You don't expect any lawyer to defend other suspended students who did not take their case to court. It's that simple. Our comrade Juwon took the case to court and won, he didn't beg or bribe anyone, others should do that too. |
tuwayz:3^x = 9x To simplify 3^x 3^x = (1+2)^x = xC0. 1^x.2^0 + xC1.1^(x-1). 2^1 + xC2.1^(x-2).2^2 + ... = 1 + x(x-1)!.2 /[(x-1)!.1! ] + x(x-1)(x-2)!.4/[(x-2)!.2!] + .... = 1 + 2x + 4(x^2 -x)/2 + .... = 1 + 2x + 2x^2 -2x = 1 +2x^2 By mere inspection, x is so small that higher powers of it are insignificant. That is why I've stopped the expansion at the 4th term. Hence, 1 + 2x^2 = 9x 2x^2 - 9x +1 = 0 x = 0.1140 You can extend the expansion to get more values of x. |
![]() We used to have an Integrated Science teacher then who would always say "as old as you are" whenever some big boys and girls in class could not answer his questions. That is not even funny, what would get us laughing hard whenever he left the class then was the way he said it with some local Yoruba intonation. So, we started calling him "as old as you are". Hey! The day wey this man hear am for one girl mouth enh.......the girl smell pepper. |
Oh! It's been a long time Maths generals...... Just wanna say hi. |
CuteDude53:3^x = (1+2)^x ....expand using binomial theorem. Note that 1^x =1. I want to believe you can continue from there. |
indo87com:I don't think cut offs are used for other lists. It's simply based on luck and "leg", I think. |
indo87com:Yea. Sure. I was almost taking another JAMB form then too, I could remember. I just stressed that OAU could not be moved by such deadlines. |
To those still awaiting admission, God will surely help you. I need to remind you that OAU does not adhere to the so called JAMB admission list deadline. The deadline is simply for "mushroom" Universities. OAU is in a class of its own and it would submit its admission list whenever it pleases. |
gbengarock: kindly forward a link to this thread or the post...thanksIt seems the post was wiped off by NL tsunami. Well, this is the approach: 3^x = (1+2)^x, and by binomial expansion 3^x = xC0.1^x.2^0 +xC1.1^(x-1).2^1 + xc2.1^(x-2).2^2 + .....You can stop here since, by mere inspection, x is very small. Simplify that, then express others in that form, simply also, then solve - it should result in a quadratic equation. |
tundeks: Why are dey boycotting lecture, they want to cause anoda strikeThere has been power outage in the halls of residence for some days now. This would be the second time that would happen in this semester. The first one lasted for a week. It's annoying. Well, Works department assured us that it would be fixed soon. |

QED!
choi! See me given myself false hope. K now, thanks. May 3rd it is
