Hi guys.

Please I've tried sending a mail to oa@nigeriaimmigration.gov.ng for visa on arrival but it keeps bouncing back saying recipient's mailbox is full.

Does anyone have a contact I can call directly? It's urgent please

To use Oakbend now, you would have to pay the new rates which is $5450 for vaginal birth. That's minus physician fees. Only for facility

Somie4:

Really? Isn't that the same as Rubbing Alcohol? It shouldn't be so pricey
Please check that you're not trying to buy an imported brand

njidekachi:
Abeg any mama coming to LA today tomorrow that help me with methylated spirit? Is quite pricey here.

Hello. Please how did you pay upfront? I thought HNWMC refuses to collect payment until your first appointment.

Hi All

Came in through Houston POE last week.

CBP: Why are you here
ME: Vacation and child birth
CBP: Can i see your doctors letter ,( glances through) ,
CBP: why do you have to pay such large amount upfront ( Shakes his head)

He scans my fingers ,stamps my passport till October and says we are free to go, he ddnt stamp my toddlers blue pali sha

That was all, i was like shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked . ...Anyways was happy and left

We picked our plenty bags , then one overzealous agriculture guy decided to intercept us, asked where we are from once we said Nigeria he took us to scan all bags, he sha seized my 12 indomie Oriental fried noodles ( Orange pack), and pointed to the picture of the chicken on it and found one tiny print that said it had chicken flavour angry angry, we sha carried our bags and left.

Thank God for favour all the way....

paid for hospital and doctors, using HNWMC, its to figure to how to pay for this healthy baby package let me not enter one chance with pediatrix

All the best to us all, and wish us safe deliveries

Hmmm! Thanks for sharing.

CheeseMama:
i had my baby at HNWMC with Dr. Xydas practice. At my first appointment i requested to be scheduled for a time he would be around. He was ok that day, asked how i had found him and all that, he answered my questions and it was a pleasant visit. My other appointments were with Dr Duong or the nurse practitioner. Delivery day it was Dr. Ross that was on call and he was awesome. Great bedside manner and even when i begged for a CS due to no progress for 5 hours, he advised against it and told me to give it another 2 hours. In an hour I was 10cm and ready to push, he handled the delivery well and encouraged me through it. Now on discharge day, after waiting all day till 3pm for Dr to certify me fit to go home Dr X appeared. The man didnt ask me one question, he just said 'Ok you can go home, baby is fine. We will see you in 3 weeks'. No abdominal exam. Nothing! No advice on after care for self, even my Mum was shocked. At the time I was tired and just wanted to get home but in hindsight it was so unprofessional especially as i had a difficult recovery for the first few days that i was so unprepared for.

Wow! Thanks for this firsthand review and I'm sorry you went through that horrific ordeal.

I've been corresponding with Dr. F and was just about to pay to get an appointment date but now I won't.

Pls what's the full name for Dr. Z (Admin kindly allow this just this once) and is he with Oakbend too?

Also, I'll be glad if anyone has personal reviews to share on Dr. X of HNWMC... I don't really trust online reviews.

Iyabeji12:

I had my baby in June 2017. My Dr was Dr Z but he couldn’t take my delivery. Dr F was assigned to me. I had seen horrible reviews about him online and I got to experience this first hand. He was so nasty, I had to file an official complaint to Oakbend about him. He was very rude to me throughout my labour. I had a tear during delivery and when he was stitching me up I could feel the pain and I was reacting to the pain (I didn’t take epidural). His exact words to me were ‘Look here, I have numbed the area so I know you are not feeling any pain, if you move again, I will leave you here and walk out’. I wonder why people go to him. Maybe he was nasty to me because I wasn’t his patient or maybe he was in a bad mood but I wouldn’t advice anyone to use him knowing that he can flip at anytime. Oakbend wrote me an apology letter afterwards (who apology ep? ). My birth experience was very horrible thanks to him. P.S I’m not a newbie to childbirth. My first were twins. Had an unmedicated vaginal delivery for the twins in the U.K (no epidural) my delivery for the twins was a lot more pleasurable than the singleton birth handled by Dr F. I do not wish him on my enemy.

I would also like to know as I have been corresponding with him and intend to use him too

Ojugunrege:
Hello people,
please has anyone used Dr F in Houston recently?
His online reviews & patients' feedback are so diverse - from the very nice to the outright not-pleasant.

please if u have used him in the last few months, kindly quote me & drop a few lines on your experience with him here. I have an appointment with him soon.

I must warn you though...

When booking BA please make sure all your flights are BA. BA has an agreement with American Airlines (AA)and sometimes the flights to or from the US will be via AA.

My DH and I have had the misfortune of flying with AA from Philadelphia to London ( we purchased BA tickets) and it was a terrible experience. So when booking your flights please ensure that it is BA all the way. I have learnt my lesson and I always check now!

Wow! Please what exactly was your experience? I've booked BA and some of the flights are AA. Plus is there anyway to change those AA flights to BA?

I didn't send him records or letter of transfer, I'll get on that right away. I'm considering pre-registering with him. Thank you

MCareNetwork:

Did you send your medical records and a letter of transfer of care from your doctor in Naija to the doctor in the US? If you did, he would’ve responded by accepting your care. Did you pre-register with him/her? These are all evidence of correspondence in addition to them communicating pricing to you.

Please do I have to pay for an appointment to notarise like we did for interview?

Can you kindly state what the E-Mail correspondence should establish? I mailed Dr. F and he responded with an attached cost document. Is that enough evidence of correspondence or what else do I need please?
ozymes:
Please, Please, Abeg, Biko, Joor. If you are still here in Naija without the e-mail correspondence, I strongly advice that you get it sorted out before you board your flight, in your own interest.
