Lobotka, Rhamani, Elmas this man just goes to underprivileged countries and gets above average players for pennies

Well shows the level of the Serie A that they are even competing for the league
Osimehn is also an average striker

If Umar Sadiq was given the starting position in place of oshimem he would have converted atkeast one of the chances oshimem had. Non of his attempted bicycle kicks were on target.
They would had finished awoniyi or sadiq if they had tried and miss 3 overhead kick. Infact, the manner at which sadiq was criticized after his debut game was scary

Is it true Amaju Pinnick has agreed to step down as NFF president? Well if true, I'd say his effort and love for the Eagles during his time have been average. But it's even more appreciated that he has set a new benchmark to step down which is unlike many public officials in Nigeria. However his decision to step down is hinged on family reason and not because he considers his failures as president of the football federation a justification to do so. However we are grateful for his time managing football affairs in the country. My grouse with him is not about the national team. But rather the cadet teams. Whatever success we enjoyed in 2015 under 17 World Cup were less of his effort. I hope whoever steps in can at least help with out under 17 team. If that's the only World Cup I'd enjoy Nigeria winning let it always continue to be so.
Mumu stop voicing false information. Amaju guy like the typical Nigerian do not understand how to take accountability. He didn’t step down, rather he said that he isn’t going to contest for the reelection

I am sorry, but what is the job of a pundit? No be to criticize? Before the fact ooo, after the fact ooo. As long as dem no insult your mama, papa or mock your disability. Besides this is coming from someone who has seen it all.

Besides people today no really understand when to use some of these words. Person wey dem know well well for bicycle kick dey tell you say, dem no dey do bicycle kick, you still get mouth dey talk. Shame no even dey catch you to talk say, en i go continue dey do am. grin grin How many bicycle kicks you don score? I no blame am sha. Na Oshoala be the real Agbaiya. Na she cause am. cheesy

If world-class is a journey of 10 years, Osimhen still dey him sixth year, and i am being very generous here.
Can you imagine the nonsense. So, because a certain player is your favorite, he shouldn’t be critique. Maybe they wanted ikpeba to say
Super sport: what can you say about osimehn performance today?
Ikpeba: he is osimehn make I not talk

Haaland her badland there, did he qualify Norway to world cuphuh With all his magic boot etc. We should stop running away from the fact that the coach messed up the team. Osihmen was running because they were just lobbing balls to him from defense. Even his club coach the other time said that they need to curtail his runs. That it will help him to score more goals. But in SE it's boom to Osihmen and insha Allah.
You’re very stupid. The argument here is that, all those foolish bicycle kick was unnecessary because he could had done something useful with those ball and yes if he had scored, everyone would be celebrating but he didn’t score. Also, your foolish mind didn’t realize that ikpeba was even kind in his criticism because if that happened at Napoli, it would had been worse. Ewu rabaraba

Those that have not played the game always think that it's easy. You only need a fraction of a second to think. Some times u don't even think, At that moment I don't think Osihmen has option, unless he wants to give a headed pass. But to who. Inside a crowded penalty box. He can't even try to drop it down to shoot.
You’re forking mad. If he did it once and fail, it’s understandable but to do it 3 times in the same game and fail at all 3 attempts and we didn’t qualify, ikpeba was even kind at his criticism because if I was a pundit, osimehn for here am. These new young players are soft and being pampered because they cannot try such rubbish at their club side. Ikpeba was even kind at his criticism because osimehn has a long way to become world class. Football isn’t just about running running like a cheater you have to refine your game and improve on other qualities like positional awareness, converting chances and shooting techniques

Yes what is outstanding about 10 goals. First you lied he had the all time record. At 20 games Yekinii had scored 20 goals

It was because of the likes of Yekini that that the likes of Osimhen are now playing in Europe.
When Yekini was 23 No Nigerians apart from those born in Europe were playing in Europe
Many of you young folk think football started when you were born
Playing in Europe just means you get more money . There have always been immigration restrictions on Africans and other foreigners. How good are the English players playing in the Premiership? It is not by being in Europe
Playing in Europe is not a sign that you are good or better than those that are not.
Many good players in South America never make their way to Europe.
When Nigeria was ranked number 5 in FIFA ranking Amunike was playing at Zamalek and all the other players were not playing in Major clubs

When Egypt was dominating African football a few years ago they did it with home based players
Kanu is a very different type of player from Osimhen

Osimhen is a 9 and Yekini was a 9 so that is the direct comparison to make.

We are talking of National football and achievements

Osimhen does not have any achievement to point to that is the reality

You should be comparing Osimhen with Musa and Ighalo
Tha Goat want to compare Kanu a 2 time African player of the year, olympics, Epl, fa cup winner to osimehn that hasn’t won anything. Moderators really need to warn this indomie generation on speaking abominable statements

Not even John Carew could do the magic in his prime.

Osimhen at 23 shouldn't be responding to all things he reads about himself on social media.
And he wants to play for Real Madrid lol ikpeba didn’t even criticize him, rather he complimented him with a little bit advise. By the time osimehn sees real criticism at Madrid or Barcelona, his eyes go clear. The much maligned ighalo qualified us for the World Cup in his prime

I wasn’t even that upset that Nigeria failed to qualify for the World Cup because I know that, the conclusion would had been a “group stage exit” my main grouse was that, we lost to a Ghana team with inferior Individual players.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Jasmine80: 6:56am On Apr 08, 2022
Osimehn is even lucky that ikpeba was kind in his criticism because if it was me, the man for hear am. The man failed to convert any of his 4 “half chances” in a derby game that resulted in our non qualification and he has the mouth to talk nonsense? Can he try 3 overhead kick in a Napoli derby game and fail to convert any of them and will not be chased with cutlass? This is the same player that some agent was comparing to Harland on this platform? Mad people full here. Dude failed to convert any of the 4 half chances that was created for him vs Ghana and he has the mouth to talk? Because of people like him, I have to miss attending Qatar. Nigerians think that football is just about Running and Running. You have to learn positional awareness, intelligence, technique in order to become great
SportsRe: The Controversy Between Victor Ikpeba, Victor Osimhen And Asisat Oshoala by Jasmine80: 6:51am On Apr 08, 2022
Osimehn is even lucky that ikpeba was kind because if it was me, it would had been worse. The man basically failed to convert any of the 4 half chances that he got in over 2 legs. The one in the first leg that he should had nodded or the 3 half chances that he was trying stupid ridiculous overhead kick. This is the same person that some lunatic was comparing to Harland? Sacrilege. Can you imagine trying 3 overhead kick in a derby game and missing all of them? Try that one at Napoli and na cutlass they will use to chase you. If I was the coach, osimehn would had been replaced by iheanacho in that game because nacho has so many bad qualities, but clinical finishing is his mojo. Osimehn hasn’t even won any trophy yet and he feels like he can’t be corrected despite failing to score in over 180 minutes. Na ogun go faya anyone wey respond anyhow

Nigerians do not like to take accountability or responsibility for their actions that’s why people are trying to heal the blame solely on Eguavoen. For me, Nigeria fans, NFF, Eguavoen and the players are all responsible for today’s loss. If our fans were pressurizing NFF to sack Rohr, he would had been the coach and we would had qualified. If Eguavoen had invited a balanced squad nko or our players failing to convert half chances. This is a life lesson

That is my issue with Eguavoen and co.

Forget name, Otto Addo was born and bred in Germany. He understands and implements the modern game. Guy came in and got Ghana up to shape in days. Eguavoen has been with this team since December last year and they are still struggling to link up and find each other on the pitch.

I said it before, we do not play as a team and it will haunt us. We rely too much on individual talents: what Osimhen can do, what Simon can do etc. instead of what the overarching team can do in unison.

Our next coach must prioritize making us press, pass and create chances as a unit rather than just throwing big names around.

PS: Osimhen I saw today is not worth 50 million pounds, let alone 100 million. All na hype. There was a ball he got on the right wing that he crossed to the skies, those attempted bicycle kicks could have been controlled and placed, poor offside awareness multiple times in the game etc. He has heart but his decision making is so poor to be worth that much. He can use that gra-gra to boss Serie A but when he goes to bigger leagues like the Champions League and EPL he will be badly exposed.
Osimehn is an overrated piece of shit. Na slap I go slap anyone wey go hype that guy here

Free Osimhen from this. How many chances was he fed with? Ghana in their aggressive style conceded over 20 freekicks in their half. We never made them pay for one. Not one proper cross.

Lookman was delivering decent crosses yet got yanked off for Moses Simon to deliver set piece disasters. We know Osimhen is dangerous in the box. Why not practice feeding him with pinpoint crosses??
Thunder faya your head. How many half chances did he get? In games like these, converting half chance is all that’s required to win

Which chances did Osihmen missed?

Listen, we didn’t create even one clear cut chance over the two legs. Victor buried the only chance he had but unfortunately he was offside.

We played without a system, hence we couldn’t create chances. Pumping high balls into the box isn’t creating chances. Our problem in these two games was 100% tactical.

Well, that was totally disheartening!

Everyone from Coach Eguavoen down to the players (except Osimhen) are to blame for this failure. Our midfielder's lack of confidence in threading forward passes was a big part in this debacle as well.
