Born to a “below average “ family. The only thing that makes Xmas different from other days is that Mom do manage to offer us “Eve” those days, she’ll mix with 10 liters of water and serve us. And sometimes if she could strive to get us new “kito” sandals and a design of cloth with different animals pictures on it. It’s not been so easy growing up though but there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
To everyone in sane shoe with me, let’s all keep our head up and work smart. Things will definitely turn around.
Merry Christmas to all Nairaland member and Guess reading this. May you all live to witness more on earth and in good health

Thank you sir. I'd rather you stop quoting me. I'm sure your "peeps" in Canada are also fantasizing about meeting their state governor for financial favours or 10m.
Forgive me my brother. Pls.
I don’t mean to sound insultive if you find my response as such. what am trying to say is that I have 3 friends presently in Canada. I would have joined them if I wasn’t denied visa. The truth is this guys do complain to me too. We just have different things to complain about. One was even telling me bluntly the he would have preferred to come back to Nigeria if he can get a good job. About security: trust me. No where on earth is 100% safe like Gaba Shehu replied Reno this afternoon. They might not complain about electricity, road networks, job etc but trust me. They always complain about many things too. He told me I should just stay in Naija and hustle hard. I know someone in Michigan; she complained about job too. Forget dollar paparazzi. She wish she’s in Nigeria again but her parent won’t allow her. Different policies that cut their balls. I have someone in Romania. Trust me. These guys wish they could get a well paying job in Nigeria. They’ll gladly return home.

I said what I said, younger guys whine like babies looking for breastmilk. It is not men-bashing, it is not an insult- IT IS THE TRUTH.

A quick walk through the Nairaland Romance section would prove me right. They can whine oooo! Na only them waka come? ?
You can spare that lecture and truth for other day/thread ma’am. It’s unnecessary now.
Y’ll Yell at N’land men/guys at every single opportunity and you expect they keep it cool. What an irony
Education › Re: Six Conditions Given To FG By ASUU Before Suspending Strike by jawalis(m): 2:37pm On Dec 23, 2020
ASUU is weak.
They should look and for other means of displaying their frustrations and displease rather than strike all the time.
The FGN knows fully that they only Avenue ASUU can use is strike and thus; they are used to it.

You're funny. Canada is not heaven but I can start a business there without budgeting for generator. I can protest without being shot at. I can find a woman who will love me for me very easily. I can get an education without a 9-month strike. I can go into the wilderness without thinking about bandits. I can get a nice job even without going to school. I can live without gf asking for urgent 2k. I can decide to play football and live very, very comfortably. I can decide to visit Nigeria and fly away when I wish. I dunno about you but it is heavenly appealing.
You can not always be right.

Romance › 10 Million Naira Or A Visit To Your State Governor. by jawalis(op): 1:54pm On Dec 23, 2020
Nothing; they say, is so often irretrievably missed as a lost opportunity. Catch a man a fish and you can sell it to him. Teach a man to fish, and you ruin a wonderful business opportunity. While we stop to think, we often miss our opportunity. Now Straight to the point.
If you are offered an opportunity Before the year ends either to accept a cash of 10,000,000.00 or a visit to you state Governor. Which one would you pick and why?
For me; it’s a visit to my Governor
Because; I have a potential to unveil. All I need a massive audience and support.
