Let me share this one.
This is a story a friend of mine told me when I was in secondary school and although it's been more than 10 years since he told me this story, it still gives me the creeps.

This my friend had a class mate who was ill and was home for about a week, so because of that, he missed school during that period of time.

So after being sick for a week, he returned to school the next monday and was unusually very friendly with everyone. He even made up with the people he had quarrels with.

After school that day, my friend decided to visit him at his house. When he reached his house he asked his sister about him. His sister who was looking all moody told him that his friend, her brother died on friday and had already been buried.

My friend almost fainted because everyone saw the same boy in school that day.

No one ever saw him again.

How does this comment relate with the issue at hand?

I wonder why someone will have the nerve to take the life of another, not to talk of that of his own son.

The heart of man is indeed evil and desperately wicked.

Music/Radio › Re: Discussing The Issue Of Half Unclad Girls In Videos. by Jaxera(m): 11:10am On Aug 10, 2015
Well, everyone wants to make their music videos more endearing and interesting to watch and so they feel including half unclad ladies in their videos is the best.

The issue at hand is actually one of the negative influence of western culture, but just like religion, when we Nigerians copy foreign content, we tend to over do it.

In the US and the UK, these kind of videos are mostly rampant in hip hop songs, and some RnB, but here in Nigeria, every song, despite the genre, always has indecently dressed video vixens.

I would also blame this on the lack of creativity on the part video directors. Most of them lack imagination and when the direct this videos, all they can think of is to input girls shaking their booties and showcasing their breasts.

Also, with the kind of songs released these days, you wouldn't expect much from the videos.
When all someone sings about is "nyash" and "boobs" you should expect exactly that from the video.

In addition to all this, the video vixens themselves also make themselves available. These girls look at it as an easy way to make money so they also utilize any opportunity they have to feature in this videos.

The bulk of the problem lies with the video directors. Because they are the ones that direct these videos. The NBC should orientate them on this issue, really. It's shouldn't just be about banning videos, randomly.

There are few video directors that I have come to like and admire their directing because they tend to think outside the box and they bring something new to the plate.
Kemi Adetiba for instance. You won't see ladies shaking their asses on her videos.

We shouldn't also leave out one honest fact, which is that most of these videos have and incredibly high patronage by we the viewers.
A lot of people, especially guys, love to feed their eyes with stuff like this. Guys love to see ladies "assets". It entices and excites us. So these artists always capitalize on that, hence them always including these ladies in their videos.

I won't engage you further. It's obvious you can engage in a discourse without hurling insults.

This your post just asserts my earlier claim about how childish most of you here are.... both in thinking and in behavior.

Good day.

The problem is all this dumbb girls will never learn embarassed

Some are just rude and aggressive.
Are men not aggressive and rude at times?

What gives you the right to term girls as dumb? Which girls have you even met?

Sometimes when I see comments like this, I just shake my head.
I blame it on the fact that this forum is dominated by teenagers and youths who are still dependent on their parents and are still in school,so haven't really experienced life.

You can't go into the corporate world and make this statement. Go out there and you will see intelligent ladies that you would even be scared to engage in a conversation with.

There is a way to talk to a man. Vice versa.
There is no specific, outlined way to talk to a man. A woman may talk to me in a certain way and I will be okay with it, but she may talk to another guy in that same fashion and he may become rageful.

My point exactly: We all have different personalities and we all react to situations differently.
What's important is for partners to understand each other's character and act appropriately.

You don't just sit at home and write stuff and expect every lady to just swallow everything up.

On this forum, especially on this section, there are some girls who might not be mature enough to sieve through all you wrote and would just believe everything you posted as the truth.... and this is wrong.

I have also gone through most of your threads and I notice how you always berate women and point this flaw and that flaw.
It begs the question of how you actually view women.

Why not invest your time into something more productive and more pertinent, like what I stated in my previous post.
Romance › Re: How To Talk To A Guy by Jaxera(m):
Nice write up, but I am tempted to comment because there are a few things I saw that I don't quite agree with

Please where is it written as a law that a woman shouldn't shout back at a man. Haven't civilization moved from that from that point.

Young man, everyone, irrespective of the gender, has emotions and these emotions are what propel us to react to situations through various means, which could also include "shouting back at someone"

If a man is at fault, or if a man is doing the shouting, you don't expect his wife to keep quiet and watch him display his shinnenigans....she isn't a robot for crying out loud. If the way she feels cause her to shout or screams back at him, then so be it.

You stated that no man in this world is wired to receive insults from his wife, so are you trying to say that women are the ones that are wired to receive insults, or that women should tolerate insults from their man but when they do the same it becomes a crime?

Also, you also said women should use their "genuine tears" as. technique to get what they want.
For someone to cry genuinely, it must mean she whatever caused her to cry really pained her deeply.

So are you championing the motion that a woman should present herself as vulnerable in other to please a man or get what she wants?
That's outrageous. There are other ways to communicate effectively with your spouse, it shouldn't be by crying or making yourself look weak and thin-skinned.

I am of the opinion that in this day and age where women and young girls are the ones experiencing abuse in marriages and relationships, and are exposed to all sort of violence, most of which are caused by us guys, more threads should be created to show men that these women deserve their respect, and not their objectification and victimization.
Threads to showcase the dignity and strong points of the woman and not the ones to constantly showcase their flaws or berate them like they are lesser humans.

Perhaps a thread explaining to guys how they should behave in front of a woman and how to talk to a woman, would have been preferable to this.
Because at the end of the day, it's still the women that are being victimized...

Christianity Etc › Re: I’m Richer Than Bill Gates – Pastor Adeboye by Jaxera(m): 7:56am On Aug 10, 2015
Must he boast? I don't know why a pastor should be proud to say something like this.

Bill gates is rich because he worked hard for it. He was creative and innovative and he looked for a way to solve peoples needs through his innovation and that in turn, became a money making venture for him

Adeboye's money is from the pockets of other people, given to him by virtue of his position, so he shouldn't even compare himself with Bill gates.

It's not racism. It's more of a license issue.

EASports isn't licensed to include some teams, the same way they aren't licensed to use the champions league.
