@duchess, please a travel agent said a klm flight with only one stop doesn’t require a transit visa. Is this true?? One other person has travelled that route too and didn’t require it but I have also seen people who needed it. E jhor help clarify cuz their fees are so cheap rn

You don't need a transit visa since you have only one stop in Europe/Germany.

I've taken both Lufthansa and KLM to the UK, I did not need a transit visa.

Your transit there is rarely up to 4hours you don't leave the airport.. You don't need transit.

If you use KLM and Airfrance and your ONLY transit is in Amsterdam (Netherlands) which is KLMs base then no transit visa. If your ONLY transit is Paris (France) which is AirFrance base then you don't need transit visa.

Same should go with Lufthansa which is Germany if it's ONLY 1 transit.

Note ALWAYS contact airline to confirm. If you can get their official number in Nigeria then at least I know KLM has an official Facebook account for questions

I did standard visa application ( dependent) visa
I escalated on momday I received it has been sent to

From Lagos -> to Cairo Egypt and then from Cairo -> to LHR London.

Please guys will I need a transit visa for this.

Or what Airline did you use? Many Nigerians on Turkish Airlines with 1 stop at instanbul wouldn't need transit visa.

Please share your experience.

Guys: So I booked a flight from a third party from cotonou to UK to have stop over at Turkey. We were denied boarding saying we need transit visa. Anyway, please how can I go about getting refund? Turkish airline said there is refund but later said no refund because we booked from mytrip.com . The flight is non refundable, but does that really mean all that money has gone? Please help if you have ideas for me

someone told me there are exceptions if you hold a valid US or UK visa. Can anyone confirm?

Attached is the refusal letter. It is insufficient funds. I cant seem to find where to declare the refusal I only saw a space "If you needed to add more information about your application but were not able to, you can write it here." Is that where I should write it?

Also can any one send me the refusal (Insufficient POF) cover letter template

Hi, on your application dash board, has it progressed to application received by VAC?
I noticed that mine changed to application transferred to VAC but no BRP letter.

Click AMEND button, it will bring TLS service, ukvi services, u will see it there to choose

We did trial and error and the date changed.

Some pple suggested with the buy options, u will be able to upgrade to priority without amending d date but the buy option is not showing.

Somone suggested adding to the cart. If u add priority to the cart, you cant check out nor pay without adding a date, definitely you hv to lose the existing date.
