Really sad. It will take Tanzania a century to reach to the level of competitive politics we have in Kenya. Where citizens make it very clear what they want, not what the powers that be want. One of the reasons their CCM doesnt do much to improve education levels in that country is because they dont like an enlightened population that is hard to control.

Imagine all major projects and buildings are done by govt. Negligible investments from private sector apart from mining and to some extent tourism.
