@Oriazowan I just saw your post.
My spouse will be going to UNBC in January. He applied on the 10th of July and just got approved on the 13th of November. I would advice you to just wait. You will get it. They have very few Nigerian's going to UNBC.

oriazowan:
Good day,
I am a new follower on this thread. I got admission to study MA Development Economics at UNBC for September 2017 but I had to defer it to January 2018. Now I applied for study permit October 1st, 2017 online route and did my biometrics 5th October. No upfront medical.
Till now there has been no update on my application and i am really worried but praying seeing the fast rate at which TRVs are issued this period.
1) Please is there anyone going to UNBC in January?
2) Please Gurus in the house do you advise I mail the VOffice for an update or should I just wait(for how long)?
Please I need your urgent advice. I am so worried

Lol, wanted to play it cool and casual like it was nothing and be like "TRV approved", but i know deep down this was really God. I'll update my documents shortly and for those still believing in your canadian dream, hold on to God tightly. It is well

Thanks. I will take a look at it now.

quote author=abbyode post=60963977] There's nothing else to do as you have gathered all the necessary points from education and IELTS. However, make sure you ticked Ontario as one of the provinces you wish to stay in your express entry application. We are in the same category and the only way out is to also pursue PNP. I will advise you go and study saskachewan PNP very well. You can pre-fill the forms right now and be on standby till when the next application window will open. I slightly missed the last time. At the same time, please keep in touch as well.[/quote]

You will need to use your visa before it expires or else, the VO will have fun interviewing you. Questions like why you did not use it, etc.

Ehrnie:
I wouldn't know that for sure...BUT I'll prefer to be especially careful rather than taking a risk.

You could ask on the USA visa thread - someone should be able to answer you 100%

Hello House, I just want to know if anyone has registered in the Job bank and how it works. I just entered the EE pool yesterday and really need advice. My score is 332 and I have registered to re-write my Ielts 'cos' I never knew I could ask for a remark and it's almost 1year now. i'm open to any advice that can help my case. My ielts score was L/R/S/W - 8/6/7/6.5. Thanks for a response from the Guru's in the house.

Please house, i have read a lot on this thread, but there is something i want to ask. Do you get extra point for your ECA report and that of your spose? If you do, what exactly is the point? Does it boast your overall score 'cos' my score is 339. i intend re-writing IELTS again to boast my former score of LSRW 8/7/6/6.5. Thanks for your prompt response.

They will ask you for your passport if TRV is approved but you have to go with it. Don't drop it.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by jaybaby2017: 10:27pm On Jun 29, 2017
Please house, I need some clarification. After online submission, when you are asked to go for biometrics, do you drop your passport at the same time or they will ask for it later. Thanks for your response.

Thanks. I will contact them on Monday.

Austinpee4:
The consultant you are using should be able to guide you on the processing time. You are paying for the entire service. However, there are alot of stages involved in processing application and no one can say if it will be late on not. So the earlier you send in your application, the better. Your application could be processed and a decision made before 2nd of sept. You just have to send it in and be hopefull.
