Sincerely, Wingbacks tactics will work efficiently. Why cos all 3 games, the most penetrable spots were our flanks. Even when it was locked up, all 3 teams still loved to pass thru their cos the centre was on lock. If Alozie and Imuran/Plumptre can play such role, we won't really need our Wingers coming back to defend anything. Easier said than done, but we have the personnel to play the style well.

Thissss 343, where the front two paired with the striker are more like playing midfield.

In all the matches played today 4 goals were scored
except for the falcons game. I have to admit conceding just one (not counting that rubbish 2nd goal in 13 mins extra time) goal in 3 games shows how disciplined this team is. I hope people still show support on social media cos they will all see it. 7 days break will be good for us.

Anyways our setup fits a knockout game, just hope the team pulls through
Sports / Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Jaybee3456: 1:24pm On Jul 31, 2023
Anyways i still trust waldrum since the super falcons have decided to play each game like knock out football, maybe just maybe that conservation style might just see us through.

Both teams are ranked ahead of us. Canada is the reigning Olympic champion. We beat the hosts in their backyard.

We have a lot to do, but omo, some optimism, please?

I get your point, to me the rankings are absolutely shit. I'm talking about those games cos we failed to offer much offensively but defensively we were tight.

Waldrum i woulf have like if you took the same kind of risk you did against aussies and try starting oparanozie and see how it unfolds. A bit of mystery in our attack might just make things click who knows

Please what do we do about Uchenna Kanu? Why does Gift Monday not start games?

Aside Toni Payne and Michelle Alozie she looks like the only other player with a bit of tech.

It's how waldrum set the team up, i don't blame him sha cos falcons have a history of swallowing goals. Uche is wayyy faster than gift since he's playing counter football. The problem now is this same uche mediocre in every aspect of her game except pace🤷🏾‍♂️

No matter how we defend top teams find their holes in our defence and punish us for it. Canada and ireland are not as good as the level of competition we are about to face

You've forgotten the 12th man on the pitch FIFA? That's the reason why some of us wanted the falcons to top the group.

Thank you, we needed are much easier team than facing group winners. Omo na to root for china o at least we have a good record against asians

Well this game shows me that we are better off playing the group D winners than runners up.

How because we arw defensively set up?😅 mannn i don't think if we go behind again we will recover.

Anyways let's just take this qualification in good faith. For a team that has lost more games than every team in the world at the WC and going unbeaten in this one is something.

This game was for the team to build on something ahead of the R16 but see now, we are so hopeless.

Maybe we would have played better today. Besides the match isn't over yet.

Even if we do manage to squeeze a win, it doesn't still negate the fact that we've been horrible.

If you had high hopes about this team I'd rather you hust squash them now cos it's understandable to have those performances for an opening game and playing host nation. What's the excuse for this? same complaints since the beginning of the tournament

I've said it time and time again asissat na sub player. She rarely starts for barca sef. They love bringing her in to either win games or cause more choas thereby leaving the defence to breath

You'll be giving them too much confidence. Remember they're out already and not under any pressure.

Oh that's true, they have nothing to lose today than pride.
