3. All of these ideas you push are cultural in nature since outside of your marriage delusions exists a world of other people who don't hold the same notions and ideas you cling to. They too are humans and need not be made subjects to marital problems. Your boundaries are for you to draw and implement for yourself, not for others to manage on your behalf.

Then there's a lot to learn about marriage and I would understand a married person to understand better. Perhaps if you are in the wife's shoes, you wud understand well. This is more of ethics than the cultural thing you call it. The outsider (likely not married) shud avoid being an instrument to causing issues in the marriage. Like I said, it's different when it concerns guys but when ladies are involved, the husband and the outsider (female) shud do better.

She is not wrong, as her culture isn't necessarily your culture, and you would expect her to respect your wife when she isn't a party to the marriage. If an outsider has to diminish themselves for the sake of what is your own marriage, then clearly, your marriage is a terrible one.

There is nothing wrong with sitting in the back seat of a car; an individual should not feel belittled by it. So, the colleague(the outsider) could have easily been requested to sit in the back by the husband. However, since the wife felt demeaned by being made to sit in the back seat as a result of the position she held in proximity to the one doing the driving, then it makes this a marital issue and not one for an outsider to carry or consider resolving on behalf of the married.

No, I beg to differ sir. No matter how much U make it, it's still a personal space for couples. Infact, most home and personal things are discussed while both are sitting close to each other and that's the front seats. There's nothing cultural about it. It's basic understanding and respecting boundaries.
This is an incident that happened several times, I would expect the outsider to understand and kindly move to the back for peace sake instead of being the reason why issues would prop up.

The president said the timing is very wrong sir. Corruption allegations is still as alleged and not an indictment. The agency should do the investigation and come up with facts. Not freeze a whole state acct while conducting an investigation.

I don't believe this story one bit. The man has shown a total lack of respect to his wife. Even the so called colleague is very wrong. Funny thing is even my male colleagues whom we both leave office together would find it difficult to sit on the front beside me cos he knows I would pick my wife on the way. It's my wife that now tells him not to bother. But for a female colleague, it's a different ball game. It's a disrespect to the wife and the husband should have done better.

Mad for Osun to play opposition to the federal government when it can benefit. Who knows when the people of Osun will have this kind of opportunity again?

Even states across the South East are aligning with the centre. The people of Osun must act strategically—vote APC to unlock massive investment, or continue wallowing in hardship. Under Akande, things were different. If Osun aligns with President Tinubu by voting APC, significant investment will inevitably follow.

For where? Adeleke has overstayed his welcome. Many people believe it's time for a new direction. AMBO has presented his plans for transparent governance, job creation, infrastructure, education, and economic growth. Osun deserves better, and I believe AMBO is the right choice.
