richiemcgold:There is no way u will take borrowing out of running our economy, we are already in debt as a nation. Even without defending the naira, govt is still borrowing. How the borrowed funds is being utilized is what matters here & that depend on the person at the helm of affairs. |
twosquare:You are just disturbing my mentions, what kind of person are u?? Previous govt when civil servants were able to afford cements & build houses, was the transport system & megawatts different from what we have now?? Who is talking about about development, take Nigeria back to pre May 2023, so people can afford basic things. 2023 allawee was 33k, fuel was 198, rice 30k & all other goods, now fuel is 1200, rice is 107k, corpers are still earning 33k? Do u think that is fair?? Even the so called 70k minimum wage, they refused to pay. This is not about the system, it is about compassion & the mind of the person at the helm of affairs. Stop using the system as smokescreen to defend incompetence. You are making it seem like Nigerians want something extra ordinary from this govt. Pls don't mention me again if u don't want to be reasonable! |
twosquare:If u think electing an intelligent man into office will not bring relief & succour to the average Nigerian, it means u are not being sincere. Who is talking about megawatts & transport system?? We are talking about food & price of basic commodities! I don't want to continue engaging u guys because i can see some of u are just talking on the basis of cryppto earnings because dollar is high, u have no idea what people are really going through under this govt. Things are out of reach for the common man out there!! People can no longer afford basic food stuffs & drugs! |
twosquare:Nobody is saying Nigeria will automatically become an Eldorado if we overlook tribalism & put competent people in office, but it will be far better than this. Are u saying if someone like Osinbanjo was in power, the country will be in such a mess & confused state?? Be honest with yourself. The kind of tribalism we practice in this country is different from what obtains in other part of the world. Not until we put Nigeria as a nation first above tribe, we can never make progress. Tribalism is the root cause, because voting is the selection process. Whatever u select as a citizen during voting will determine the direction the nation will go. Some persons are corrupt, but others are extremely corrupt. The binance guy is still locked up till this moment, while naira is still dwindling, how is that a fair approach to resolving issue? Put an intelligent man there & see how all these things get resolved. |
Tflex01:See what u are saying?? Are u not part of this problem?? Haven't u be supporting this govt right from day one even with their anti people policies?? Those of u coming here to say tribalism isn't the problem are saying so because u are part of those that plunge this nation into this mess because of Tribalism. Mind u Politicians don't use tribalism, u people allowed yourselves to be used. You can't make a wrong decision by voting an incompetent candidate because he comes from your tribe or political party & expect me to start addressing issues with u when reality hits! |
crazymommy:God bless u, u have said it all. The problem with Nigerians is that we are not even sincere with ourselves! Imagine someone still trying to downplay tribalism, when what we are suffering today is directly as a result of tribalism. Mentioning greedy leaders, who put the greedy leaders there? Is it not the people? Let 2027 come, they will still come out to vote him saying he is their son. We are not serious in this country. |
Superpack589:I quoted u earlier & stated tribalism was the bane of this nation, u quoted me with greedy leader being the cause, I just didn't want to respond so as not to derail the thread until I saw this. If u read what the crazymommy lady posted u will notice a very salient point where she stated the tribalism she experienced in Nigeria is worst than the racism in UK. Go read her post again. Many of u trivialize the negative consequences of tribalism, forgetting no nation can experience progress with it. The negative effects of tribalism is bigger than corruption, becos it makes people to put square pegs in round holes & makes them protect their own, even when sth is wrong. A country where people will always vote for their own, even when it is glaring such a person is incapable to rule, so long he comes from their region or village, they decide to vote for him, how do u want such a nation to make progress?? People don't vote the best hands, they vote their own, no matter how bad the person is, so long he is from their region, they will vote him. So what do u want the average Nigerian who has an opportunity to Japa to do in such case? To stay back & start suffering for the wrong decisions made by others on the basis of tribalism?? |
Superpack589:It is a huge mess, but no one is talking about it because there is never going to be a solution to it, so long as tribalism exist. Tribalism is the bane of this nation, nothing is ever going to work because of it. |
seanwilliam:Eth is like that @bold, it doesn't move with the crowd, it moves on its own & when it does, it can do crazzy numbers. 2020 my brother told me to buy eth, I was reluctant because btcee was gradually moving, but eth was slow, he insisted & told me that will be the last time I will see eth below $500, so I entered eth at 300$, from 2020, eth rose from 300 to around $4.3k in 2021, so u can imagine how many X it did. This may likely be the last time we'll see eth at this price too. |
Mindlog:Forget about 12 States, this man is just speaking English. Ironsi take over as military head of State after foiling the coup automatically ended the regional system of govt. Military don't share power! |
JASONjnr:If what burna boy did is childish, what about speed Darlington attitude?? Stop looking at this from one perspective, except u hate burna boy. If burna boy was your blood brother u won't be talking like this. I don't see what burna boy has done that warrant speed Darlington going about all over the internet defaming his name, it doesn't make sense. |
Sonfethopia:Exactly! In short it is the reality of West Africa. |
Na wa o No form of development at all... What is really wrong with the black man?? If it were to be a white man land, u will see contrast in comparison. |
Hotspurs:We are still saying the samething White are causing confusion among us because they are of higher reasoning & mental capacity. Can a black man go to a white man's land & convince him to sell his brother as slave? Do u ever think the white man will agree to such? Think! You can argue all u want, but the Blackman do not have same mental capacity with the white. From technology, education to medicine, anything u can think of at all, the Blackman is always behind & needs the supervision of a white man to do anything right. Our major roads & bridge construction will collapse without the supervision of the whites. |
Winnin009:Worldly passions doesn't include worldly possessions?? You are very f00lish & I honestly regret wasting my time on a dunce like u. Below is the definition of worldly passion. I didn't bother to read the rest of the nonsense u wrote. "They are things like prominent and preeminent desires to be rich, foolish and harmful desires, taking advantage of weaker people, impulsivity, various lusts, malice, envy, hate, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life." |
Wizardslayer:God bless u bro I have always opined that the black man & white man don't have same mental & reasoning capacity. There is something fundamentally wrong with the black man. Without the supervision of the whites, blacks hardly ever do anything right. |
Winnin009:Titus 2:12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age. I can produce more than 10 verses on the Bible stands on wealth, which is very simple & clear! Say no to worldly lust, i don't understand how a Christian will be accumulating worldly possessions & yet talking about heaven? How deceitful does that sound?? What wealth did Christ accumulate while on earth?? Even when Satan offered to give him the whole world, he refused, but your pastors are striving to get the whole world? Buying private jets that end up covered in dusts? Yet they have poor members in their churches struggling to feed? Like I said, u can only deceive yourself. |
Winnin009:Stop being delusional pls & think like a reasonable human for once! Even with the number of churches all over the country, our nation is one of the most corrupt all over the world?? |
Winnin009:Read what u wrote & compare with the bold to see u are the bigger clown?? Mark 10:21 "Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” Why would Jesus tell the man to sell everything he has & give it to the poor if it is was about accumulating wealth?? If the goal is heaven, why are u bothered about accumulating worldly treasures on earth? Quote me when u are ready to face the truth, u people hate the truth, yet parade yourselves as Christ like?? You can only deceive yourself! |
Salt06:You don't even know what that verse means, It doesn't mean Christians will be rich! The verse summarizes all he has been saying, he is talking about community of the Church which is designed to share & show love(Acts 2:45) & again reemphasizing those who are willing to sacrifice their earthly comforts and their lives for Jesus, the rewards of eternal life are more than we could imagine (1 Corinthians 2:9). That verse 30 summarized the bold part of 21 "Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” You people just read the Bible to suit your selfish interests, no wonder one of them went as far as saying if one doesn't pay tithe, such a person won't make heaven?? What makes u people different from politicians?? Smh |
Gerrylyndon:Many of u don't know the meaning of worldly passions! Your bishop already have many of those gifts, he should sell this & use it to feed the poor! That's what the Bible teaches! Because he is promoting God's kingdom & such things contradicts what he stands for. Nobody will be talking if your bishop was a politician, but since he is a man representing God's kingdom, he ought to do with Jesus would do, sell it to feed the poor! You Christians have no idea of what it is to be Christ like. |
CodeTemplarr:You are the clown here if you don't know the meaning of worldly lust! |
Winnin009:See the nonsense u just wrote?? You don't need to even be a Christian to know riches & pursuit of God's kingdom don't mix! But because u people are weak, u will always find a way to justify your worldly lust! What did Jesus tell the man that approached him in the region of Judea?? Why did Jesus asked the man to sell all his properties to the poor?? Why can't your bishop sell his rolls Royce to feed the poor?? Mark 10:21 "Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” The same Jesus now said this; Mark 10:25 "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” Here u are arguing about possessing worldly passions. You people are just pretenders, really don't know what it is to be Christ like! |
CodeTemplarr:Oga stop twisting the Bible! You don't need earthly riches to promote God's Kingdom. The Bible strictly teaches us to deny worldly passions, but u Christians are so after worldly passions & yet talk about heaven? |
Mandate2023:Exactly! With these two facts, they are had no case with vdm, but with Bob. |
Kukutenla:Oga shut up pls! Are u saying the voice audio was fake?? Falana just confirmed his son had a phone conversion with bobrisky, that was what vdm reacted to, so what are u saying?? You would have only be talking about defamation if there was no phone call between falz and Bob! |
elitper:You people still don't get it? There is no way bobrisky would have met with someone like falana, Falz was the connector here. Falz brought his father name into this. If not for Falz, nothing concerns falana with someone like bobrisky. The man has also confirmed there was a call between falz & Bob! |
chukwuibuipob:Vdm is not the problem, the problem was Falz! He was the one that brought his father name into this, vdm only reacted to the voice audio. The question should be why would Falz be close to a questionable character like Bob to the extent of asking him for financial assistant?? The dad just confirmed they both had a conversation? |
lexy2014:1. How will corruption be shorter for the people in 6years? *corruption for 6 years is shorter than 8 years, because 6 years is shorter than 8. 2. After the shortened 6year suffering, will there be enjoyment thereafter? *is there enjoyment after 8 years?? .3 How is it better for Nigerians to suffer even if it's for one year? *Do Nigerians have a choice? A nation where votes don't count, the citizens don't have a choice. 4. Should suffering be a part of the Nigerian experience? *Are u asking me this?? Was i the one that rigged the last elections? When people manipulate their way into office, u should know definitely the people will suffer. Because the leaders are going to recoup the money they spent on election rigging. 5. If you feel tenure of office reduces suffering, why don't you advocate for 1year tenure? *There is no 1 year tenure for president any where, least is 4 years. If we can have a house that will approve a single term of 4 years, it will be the best news ever. Imagine if this govt was only to rule for 4 years? We would have just 2 years left, but now we are going to continue in this for next 6 years! |
Ojiofor:I agree with u It should be rotational & short too! Not only one region staying there for 8 years in the name of two tenure with woeful performance. |
Ojiofor:Exactly this is my point! Whether we like it or not, our two tenure of 4 years is almost same as single tenure of 8 years. How many governors or president rule for only 4 years as compared to those that rule 8 years. Seating president or governors always find a way to rig their way into office. Left for me a single 5 year term is better than this 8 years nonsense. |
