like I said, one executive order.keep going, ignore noise.
How many more executive order do we need for market to maintain just 1 month of sanity? Trump is the problem. Rate cuts, liquidity injection, Bitcoinn reserve, yet the market never moves, because Trump is stifling the market behind. Fa.stt was very correct with his prediction about Trump & a lot of people are starting to realize he is the problem. Go to twitter & youtube.

In 2020 Trump tweeted cryptto was a threat to USD, he doesn't like it. I'm thinking his thought never changed. He only deceived the cryptto community to get into power because he was desperate. Clarity act, execute order won't change anything. He stifles the cryptto market behind with his rich cronies & come to the public to deceive the cryptto community he will be signing an executive order to pacify them. He knows what he is doing.

Abeg make 4 years do complete make this man comot from power before he lead the world into more problems! He is too erratic for a leader. You need to hear the Canadian prime minister talk. Trump talk was just all about himself being the best president. The guy is power drunk.

Trump is just stupid. Greenland is already protected by NATO. The United States has a base in Greenland. And the rest of NATO are already protecting Greenland.

China and Russia have no bases in or near Greenland. There are no credible threats that Russia or China want to take Greenland.

And if they did, the US and most of Europe would come quickly to Greenland's defense.

Greenland is protected by NATO. If Russia or China tried to invade them, they will be at war with NATO.
Honestly the man is too erratic & power drunk!

How can someone love chaos so much?

The CU...UUU.CKS in Europe are so DISGUSTING!

Imagine Macron ADVOCATING for an attack on Iran instead of dealing with their in-house CAUCASIAN problem.

Their WEAKNESS is part of the reason the PDFile will continue to BULLY them.

There is NO placating a BULLY.
Only way to handle a BULLY is to respond with STRENGTH.
Europe has the CAPACITY to do that yet they chose the path of CU.UUU.CKHOLDRY.

As for the NATO President, his mouth must be COVERED in sh1t given how hard he's FRENCHING the PDFile's ass.

WEAK LEADERS!
Europe don't have capacity for anything!
What did they do to Russia during the heat of the Ukraine war? If they can't bring Russia to its knees, na America them wan fit fight? Moreover Europe don't speak with one voice.

I made over $200 online last year from crypto. I don't have time to waste on those kind of noise makers who come online to insult people.
It's not about being a noise maker online.
They are not noisemakers bro. I doubt if anyone invested more than sean.williams in alts in the early months of 2024 on this thread. No coin that guy didn't buy, it got to a point someone on this thread had to advise him if he had nothing else to do with his money. When these guys attack anything promoting altcoins here, they are not doing it out of h@te, they are just looking out for others, it is due to the losses they have incurred from alts. Believe me u have no idea how much these guys have lost in altcoins.

This is quite laughable really. So you think SEC just hands out approval to every tom and harry
The thing is most Nigerians are very conservative, very slow to embrace new ideas & approach to things. We all remember when fintech banks came on board, alot of people were sceptical because most didn't have physical buildings like commercial banks, but today I can tell u larger percentage of Nigerians now use fintech apps. Swift transactions, less charges, savings with better interest etc they beat commercial banks in every aspect. Reason govt is now mandating them to start collecting the VAT charges on banking services, they have realized the volume of transactions going on fintech banks is much.
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by Jayce242: 8:20pm On Jan 15
Iamblessed88:
Exactly. Notice the trend. The top guys all have conservative rates hovering around 15-16% while the new ones all have rates hovering around 18%-20%.

Funny enough, if they have such brilliant fund managers, how come that brilliance is not being seen in basic issues such as prompt update of interest gains? Every fund manager here doing 18% all have one thing in common, interest backlog. Some have not updated since December ish grin

They know if they update all accounts at once, the ponzi scheme will crash grin
The confidence investors have in these fund managers is primarily based on SEC approval. If SEC should withdraw their approval from Stanbic today, investors will pull out their funds not minding whether they have been here for how long. It is just like getting CBN license to operate a commercial bank. If an asset manager has met the requirements to clinch SEC approval, it is needless trying to label such platform MMM. Getting approval from SEC is no child's play.

The likes of Stanbic running 15% doesn't make it standard, they are only taking advantage of their large customer base.

FG didn’t notify anyone. Moniepoint, and probably other non-compliant banks did. There’s nothing to “notify” when the information isn’t a new regulation. That’s my point. Carefully read the content of the link you shared and gain further understanding. I think I’ve said enough on this. One luv ✌🏽
You actually have no point! If monie point didn't notify their customers when this VAT was introduced because they didn't apply it, it is mandatory they notify their customers now before they start deductions, that's standard practice.

I’m not sure I understand your point. All companies (exclusive of those having below 25m turnover as per old law) are meant to charge VAT on their fees and commissions. Now for Microfinance Banks, their services are exempted from VAT only if their operating model is under the classification of what is called a Unit Microfinance Bank (essentially means they’re restricted in the number of states they operate). Moniepoint isn’t a unit Microfinance Bank cos their reach cover the entire country, and even their capital requirements is way higher than those ones. So why have they not been charging VAT (if truly they haven’t). When you file with FIRS, you’re obliged to declare all these things. If Moniepoint hasn’t been charging VAT before it means they’ve been breaking the law. Is there any country you go that VAT isn’t charged on commissions? What’s with the emotional responses smiley
My point is simple
I only responded to your comment u stated govt should slam heavy sanction on fintech banks for notifying customers because VAT for bank services already exist. Below is a thread of FG notification on fintech banks to start collecting VAT from 19th on front page. If govt can make a public notice on this, I don't know what prompted u to make such biased comment.

Calm down. There has never been a time when banks did not charge VAT on transfer commissions. This is not a new law or policy. The Moniepoint communication made it sound like something had just been introduced, which is misleading. That kind of messaging only fuels unnecessary anxiety in an already tense environment. If anything, it raises questions about their own past compliance, because banks have always applied VAT on their fees. No one is defending the government here, but misinformation has real consequences and should be strongly condemned.
Read what u wrote again?
If there has been VAT, has fintech banks been collecting it? Now that they want to start collecting it what is misleading about notifying their customers to warrant govt slamming them with heavy sanctions?? Imagine people like u as leaders. You feel threatened by their notifications because it further expose govt over taxation on citizens, left for u they should silently be deducting money. Only 10k transaction one will need to pay N50 stamp duty, bank charges & VAT for only one transaction? Have u ever asked yourself what these monies are being used for? Remember this same govt has removed fuel subsidy & floated the naira, yet nothing has improved!

Moniepoint should be sanctioned heavily for this. I expected them to know better.
Why should they be sanctioned??
For notifying their customers before proceeding with any stup!d tax deductions?? It is now beginning to look like u are part of this government reason u are always rushing out to come in their defense.

it fluctuates. When it becomes higher, people would move money into it.
Even when it goes up during additional APR promo bonus especially for USDC which I have observed mostly on binance, there is a cap limit which hardly exceed 10k usdt or usdc, but across other exchanges & staking platforms, it is constantly low. I follow usdt & usdc staking closely. Often times when u see inviting APR on these stable coins, the cap limit don't even exceed $500. The APR is not competitive enough to serve as a threat to banks for me o.
InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Jayce242: 7:35am On Jan 13
Ballzproblem2:
Banks don't care about politics the reason for the delay of clarity act is base on the fact that you can earn yields from staking your usdt ,banks see it as a threat because they feel their customers will convert all their cash to usdt or usdc. But there have been some compromise do far everyone is positive it will pass.
I don't see why usdt staking should be a threat to bank. The APR returns on these usdt staking is not competitive. Not even as good as putting your dollars in a fixed deposit in banks. Have u checked APR for usdt staking on binance recently?
