My point is that all rejections are not created equally. Some apparent rejections are nothing more than a woman's test to evaluate whether the man pursuing her will become bitter and back off like a wimp, or will simply take a breather before coming back with a witty and flirtatious new approach by which to reignite the woman's curiosity in the man who is seeing politely and patiently, to slip into her promised land.

It is said that the more beautiful the woman happens to be, the more likely it is that she will play hard to get, as a means of weeding out the weak men whose egos are easily hurt, and whose motivation is below par, in order to grant access ONLY to men of strong character who know and exploit with impunity those unwritten rules of the mating game.

Going to the extent of blocking communication with a woman that INITIALLY rejected a man's advances would be a mistake because that initial rejection may well be a test of a man's patience and perseverance. Blocking communication indicates that ANGER due to rejection is the man's reason for closing channels of communication. Conveying bitterness as one's response to an initial rejection is the WRONG move.

Certainly, rejection calls for a toning down of the initial romantic approach along with perhaps a temporary radio silence from the man, BUT there should be no blocking of the woman's usual channels to reach out LATER, since she may very well do so after seeing the man pass her "no desperation" and 'strong self-esteem" test. It is possible for a woman who rejected a man as a test, to be back engaging him in highly suggestive online flirtation within DAYS of that purported rejection.
