I swear I don tire

For a house I paid over 800k for.
water from the septic tank with it's very bad smell all over my entrance and guess what my landlord has to say.

After I jumped into the pool, what I did next was to replay all the video I have watched on YouTube in my head.


okay they said in the video first thing is that I will float on the water. but reverse was my case oo instead of floating I was going underneath the water.

naso I begin struggle to go up .

then I started to move my hands and leg if I will go up . omo na down I still day go ooo.

by this time I was already loosing my breath.

water don day enter my nose, eyes, ear, mouth.


I was still struggling with the water. but the water kept over powering me.


na there I con remember my papa say and this man don try for me ooo.

that was the only thought that came to my mind all through the struggling.

I didn't even prayed for miracle or help. it was just the thought of my dad that was in my heart.

I kept struggling until I just saw someone from no where underneath the pool, pulled me up to the top of the pool.

omo na so I begin gasp for breathe, but it wasn't that bad. I just signalled to the guy that thank u, then he swam away .

as I comot inside the water , I looked around if I wasn't disgraced, and then I noticed that no one was looking at me.

na there my mind come down small, I checked for my babe, she just day use water play. then my mind come down say ooooo thank God she no see me. I never F**k up.

but do you know that all this while I was sitting at the bank of the water after the guy lifted me up, I didn't hear anything from my surrounding , meanwhile there was loud music playing around the pool.

na there I begin fear say abi I don die. and as per say no one was paying attention to me I was now wondering if they could see me or not.

after like 20 seconds or so. I just heard the loudest sound of my life in my ear.

it was then I knew that I wasn't dead oo.

I quickly signalled to someone and the person responded.

that confirmed that. wasn't dead.

did I tell you that the quantity of water that left my mouth, nose, ears were much. omo even me shock.

after that scenerio. Dem no born me well stay inside the pool again.

naso I jump comot for the water for people way Sabi swim.

but some boys just day go meet my babe inside the pool. my eyes no fit take am .naso I enter pool back oo.

but I no swim anything I just day waka inside the edge of the pool.

I no fit come kill myself the second time.

I thought my babe didn't see anything. meanwhile she saw everything that happened but pretended she didn't see it.

it was the 3rd day she sat me down then told me to explain the stunt I pulled at the pool and that she saw everything, she was even the person that told someone to help me.

na there I weak. she use my laugh eeen. even her friends just day use my laugh.

it was funny that day though.

but it wasn't funny on the day at the pool because I could have died.

Guess what that was where our journey of love started.

this love story self sweet but sad. I won't be going into it though.

and since then. omo I no day try impress any babe again oo.

and for the record this story is not a fabricated one . it's actually a true life story that happened to me back then in school.

ok let's continue.

so after I got the new boxers and nice white singlet .I went back home, then bath up. wear nice perf , come and see big boy.

so I took a bus to her bus stop, then we took another bus to the hotel we were gonna swim, she was just admiring my look and outfit, that alone was driving me crazy and made me want to impress her the more.

so we got to the pool, we sat down for like five minutes, then I went to make an enquiry about how we could get access to the Pool, i was told to pay 500 naira or 1k . can't remember the price then again.

so I paid , I was given a white towel, the guy also told me to use the bathroom to shower before we enter the pool.

so I gave my babe her own towel. she entered the bathroom and showered then change to her swimming cloth. I also did the same.

the guy also showed me the different part of the pool, he said one part was shallow while the other part was deep and told me to use the shallow part. and also instructed me to tell my babe the same.

then I told my babe she said okay.

then she went to the pool side. used the pool stair case then entered the shallow part of the pool.

This is somebody that can actually swim. Unlike me .

Then mumu me because I won impress the babe, and because I don watch enough YouTube videos on how to swim, I was feeling like a boss. I went to the deep part of the pool.

na so I jump inside pool ooo.

So you no Sabi swim and you come promise her to swim with her. Alaye you go just kill youself inside pool. ....that time wey you dey gas inside water. That girl go think say na free style you dey do, till when you finally become a ghost.

Me I feel say I go go learn am for YouTube na

Getting to YouTube I saw plenty videos on tutorials on how to swim, na so I begin watch them, con day practice the swimming for my head.

I learnt different styles of swimming.

for 4 days I was still learning.

I will go to my bathroom take bucket of water fill it with water then I go put my head inside this bucket of water . cos I learnt that u have to be able to hold ur breath inside the water. so I was using bucket of water to learn how to hold my breathe inside the pool.

I will hold my breath for 10 seconds, later I increased to 20 , later to 30 seconds.

omo I con day fill my self say I don sabi swim.

I also learnt ways to move ur hands and flap ur legs for different swimming techniques.

omo I just day try all this for my head.

if I day walk , I go just day move my hands as if say I day pool, if I sit down , I go still day move my leg. all this na just to master my act of swimming.

but mumu me no go any pool go do real practical oo. I felt it was not needed so far I understand the theory behind the swimming.


the deal day con reach. for my head I be Badoo for swimming already I just day fill my self . day waka with confidence.

I even enter boutique buy new boxers to swim. buy another white singlet.
