philip2014:That relax well well part got me. Some of us need to be calming down and resting small based on their business need. No need to be stressed. So much free time is available for K-C let's all get that into our head with great joy. Lol |
GiftOfLyf:Be patient. You have 2weeks and 6 days to your resumption and I believe this is according to the notice period you provided. There is so much work going on and I think the best you can do is wait because so much is going on. By next week you can still try to remind them you haven't gotten the offer letter. Highest you collect your offer letter in their office. If your employer need it to pay you some benefits, then while checking up on them let me know you need it to clear yourself off. Many people have not gotten compensation plan and offer letter is the least you should worry about now it will definitely come. |
judemurphy:There are many onlookers, those that only post when they have a pressing question. I'm sure majority of them is waiting till many people post they have received compensation plan before they will join the conversation in panic. For now just be patient cos like I said they are many! |
I sincerely believe that in one month or less, all these suspense will be over. So guys, let's brace up. |
oakphil:Maybe you should ask guys from PZ about the place (if you know anyone working at PZ). or take a bike from PZ and tell them you want to go around new factories they are building around. If they have built the place to almost completion, then i'm sure some bike men would have noticed the place. if anybody is mobile here and wants to do small waka, make una halla me on the agreed date. |
oakphil:Nothing is hidden under the surface of the earth. Give everything time. When they invite those who they said are successful, they will definitely give them a place of meet-up, somehow, we will all find out someday. |
jenwaf:To be honest with you I have not been there myself. The source I quoted is the best I know for now. Someone here seems to describe it better. Maybe he can help cos I need to know as well. johntexb: |
philip2014:Oh my bad. I never knew. I'm glad it is not. |
oakphil:In my opinion, I think there is need to give them time. Don't you think that there are some that might not have seen the email to respond. ...and the response is needed so as to finally weigh options and decide the best resumption par response received. You need to minus Friday and Monday cos they are both public holiday. So anything from next week Wednesday is okay to start counting |
Jimmy4q:Looks like they intend to use August & part of September for that. |
Watch out your email guys. Something great is about to hit your email this week. I wish you all the best. |
demarc001:Thanks for this feedback. At least it is now obvious when we should be expecting the finalization of all roles. This is why I said I won't be surprised if it took them till mid august to start finalizing and sending out mails. The only way anything can happen earlier than that is if they want to offer some training before resumption. |
If you're seeing this post, as a user or guest and you got an invite for your final interview recently, please kindly drop your scheduled date and role. I want to see how close the end of this is. Who is scheduled for next week here? |
philip2014:Ikorodu. Source: https://m.facebook.com/bensonjimi/posts/2193905334252391 |
Jimmy4q:Let him try first. That trial is a bonus for him. Than them calling and you are making excuses when you have not be employed yet. It's a bad omen. If he joins and the network is terrible they will call him ASAP, he will not even need to tell them to. That way he will escape unnecessary explanation why he didn't join when his session schedule started. Join 5mins before time. Unmute yourself and exchange pleasantry. Within that 5 mins you will be able to know your fate with the network. You are a professional, show it. Anyhow, make sure u ask them how soon will you be getting a communication regarding their interview. That you are asking SHOULD IN CASE YOU NEED TO GIVE prior notice to your present employer, so you do it accordingly and on time. All the best to you |
princekb17:I hope so too. I believe as long as the table is cleared(all applicant interviewed and approval from the bosses in the mgt), mails will start going out. First for people they cannot continue with then to people who crossed over. Kcc is not like most company that leaves you the air. If u haven't heard from them, it's possible they are still looking into it. The only reason they would leave you in the air is if they intent to invite u for a role in the future without u making an application again. That is like leaving your file open for future considerations |
Jimmy4q: Nesto27079:The era of 24hrs has passed. I would like to point out that the reverse is possibly the case for KC corp. If they cannot continue with you, they will tell you with a good apology for wasting your time. This recruitment is for multiple positions and the people doing the final interview are humans like you and me (they are very few trying to interview for more than 20 roles). For each role, there are chances they would interview at least 5 people to be able to make conclusions. I'm with Nesto regarding the fact that nobody has been contacted. At least there are people silently reading this who can refute the claim if they have been reached them. The mill you are going to resume to is at the finishing touch. Abi u want them to give you offer and pay you for month that you didn't work? They know what they are doing. It's all about timing. They are trying to sync the mill completion with the interview completion. I won't be surprised if it lingers to mid August. |
demarc001: philip2014:I wish you all the best. Please what role? In case they mention when they intend to get back to you after your time with them, please inform us. We are in suspense. |
demarc001:Are you done now? Did they mention to you when you'd be getting feedback from them? |
Nesto27079:I thought as much, there is so much time on their side so they have to use what they have(time). No point rushing things up, making offers to people then keep them waiting. For people who haven't gotten any mail and know that they met requirements, just keep your fingers crossed. Since they have much time they can come back to others that wasn't previously invited and use the time to look deeper into all data they evaluated from the interview. |
Thank you so much for this. ikhalyfah: |
Codedviktor: Muphylad:The main thing there seems like being able to prove what is in your CV and doing your best to prove that your skills are not just verbal. If you have your way, approach everything asked as a STAR candidate. Here is what I mean S: Situation "you" have come across T: Task the situation demanded from "you" A: Action "you" took R: Result "you" achieved. Not my team kind of analogy I don't know the best way to explain this but see every question they ask you as an opportunity to recall where you did something at your present role that brought in good result. Emphasize on action and result more and you are likely to be ahead of your competitors. cheers. |
Using Logic here, since they said they will contact the ones that did their final interview in 2 weeks time for the feedback of their interview, One thing I am thinking is that, if after your 2 weeks elapsed they did not contact you then it is possible you met their needs and they might just be waiting for final feedback and go ahead from their oga on top to ask you to come for your offer and med. My thought though. |
philip2014:If this is true, then indeed it is expected to take time to conduct. Recruitment exercise is not easy especially for multiple roles with tons of applicants. I can only but imagine how their typical week will be like since everything is handled online. |
I personally think all these roles they are interviewing for, it might reach august/september before people are asked to resume. I don't sense any urgency on these placements. Imagine all the way from march to june and you know it is done online which might have some technical constraint if it is a new system for them. |
princekb17:how was it. Did you guys manage to discuss how soon they want to let you resume if you are successful? |
princekb17:Okay sir, all the best to you. As far as i know palletizer, it is one of the sweetest machine to operate in a manufacturing unit. Maintenance and operation is pretty basic and automated. |
princekb17:What role did you apply for and when is your interview? |
joefab:PM me, I will hand over someone that has handled a similar role Electrical maintenance technician in the same company to give you one or two information that might help. He is no more with them, but might have some useful information that you can possibly relate with. you are really blessed to have over 1 month to prepare. If i were you, i will do mad exploration. You might need to know a lot about vfd, powerflex drive, kinetic drive, PLC, I/O modules, Using CTsoft software for troubleshooting, etc. I believe you have an experience they are very interested in. No need to panic. If you show proficiency, even if you do not know all but know the key ones, they will still take you and then train you. They have a good training culture. Just be confident. All the best. |
