Well I haven’t gotten the visa in my hand, but got BRP mail. I used two accounts, but I wrote an introductory note as the first page of my bank statement, explaining that there are two accounts attached. So it’ll not be like the case officer missed it.

I think the issue is usually that case officers fail to scan through all the pages fully, and hence miss the second one.

So I explained to them very well, to avoid stories that touch.

Don't get me wrong , there is no difference between today and Monday, tomorrow self is public holiday. Believe you me you dont want that stress, plus you are carrying a baby. Just chill and go on Monday.

There’s difference o… they’ll transfer her case to DMC today, today will be her day 1. UKVI also works weekends, I remember somebody posted here that they called him on Sunday concerning his application and asked questions.

And public holiday is for TLS, not UKVI, so tomorrow can even be her day 2.

If you get, and you can do it in Abuja, just go there. Cos it’s not only to do the biometrics that is the thing now, but for them to respond to you on time.

Please as any application moved to VAC to today, I sent a message to UKVI on Monday, they replied me on Tuesday that it was dispatched on Monday, does it take that long for TLS to receive it. This is no longer priority o since September 14th and I paid for priority

So they have even dispatched already .. can you imagine

Also, there are several hand offs in this process. The main one obviously is where the decision is being made. Its another process to print the visa on your passport and another process to get the BRP printed. We already know theres a delay in BRP prints and this is also delaying passport returns - honestly I dont know how it connects. i was on the phone with a case worker earlier and the best he could say was that 'if theres a delay in printing BRP's we will hold on with sending out decision letters' - I was tempted to ask how does it connect (this is a different visa category btw)

Wth? This is not fair… so the delay message yesterday for BRP is going to affect our passport delivery? Abuja TLS is still issuing out passports to those got the message and did biometrics even up till 22nd. Think this is mainly from Lagos.

Most people haven’t gotten update especially Lagos TLS .. from 20th . If you didn’t get non straightforward mail, then wait in contacting any one yet. If you send UKVI a mail too soon, they send non-straightforward mail to you. So be calm

Hello house, sorry am kinda anxious here, I did my biometrics at VI on Thursday last week(walk-in), my application is still at DMC, and I paid for priority,but on my application page it's still showing Visa type as Standard. Should I be worried it just chill and let time do its thing. And has anyone that did their biometrics on Thursday last week gotten a decision yet?

The BRP is what they will give you when you get to the UK. The vignettes you will collect now will have a 30 or 90 days validity. So no need to worry

So it’s like an assurance that we got our visa’s right. Even if we haven’t collected our passports from TLS

No BRP doesn’t affect the visa or delivering of the passport. We should just wait for our collection mail and collect the passport.

I got it too this evening. They said it means we have the visa oo.. that they have probably made a decision. But TLS is delaying in issuing the passport. Cos BRP is only given to those that have visa’s.

Please I need sincere advice about this. My fiance applied for a UK visit visa recently with the help of an agent and the application was denied based on him not able to prove that he will return after his visit and he was not banned. The agent submitted that he was married with a kid and include a fake religion marriage certificate and birth certificate and in the real sense he was not. We are doing our court wedding this week and he can apply has my dependant by November to join over. I have my visa already and will be traveling next week. how Can we go about the other marriage certificate included in his application and the fake name included. Thank you God bless you all

Tbvh.. if all the plans they advice you go south.. it’ll be bad for you cos they’ll also retract your visa and issue you a ban. Why can’t you just go to school atleast for a year and you start processing another country, then you guys can live together in that country. It’s easier to migrate to other countries from UK.

I think you should email them to be sure, and so you won’t have any difficulties there. Please I sent you a mail.
