Hey guys, I want to go totally off grid

But I guess it’s not all possible

Because in my current setup, PHCN light from the mains charges my inverter

But now, we have not had light in my area for over 24 hours

Does that mean once my inverter battery runs out, I’ll be in total blackout ? Since it’s the Nepa light that is charging the inverter

Is there anyway my installer can reconnect the setup in a way that the Solar panels charges the inverter too?

Thanks

DINO MILAYE you are a coward, but banning movements in USA, ITALY and UK is democratic ?

The banning of movement in the aforementioned countries was approved by their respective National Assemblies

Try to dey watch CNN and BBC once in a while, no be only NTA and AIT you suppose dey watch

Buhari does not have the power to ban movement in Nigeria without the approval of the National Assembly

All he can do without approval of National Assembly is to declare a state of emergency

Please report to CBN’s consumer protection department

How will I know that my battery is fully charged by the Solar panels

Hey guys, I’m new to this

How will I know when my inverter battery is full?

I charge with solar panels and Nepa too.

There are no disadvantage really. But normally a 2.3 or 2.5kva should use two 200ah 24v battery. Some people still use two 100 ah battery but it won't last long as much as a two 200ah.

For me I use four 200ah batteries. The inverter installer interlooped the first two batteries ontop in series, then the second two batteries below in series then paralleled them altogether. That means it charges them two by two. I now still connected it to a super charger ( though it is not really necessary). But I always supercharge it once in a while to maintain the battery from ever going low.

I hope you understand or this make sense to you. Mine last for minimum 10-14 days without NEPA. Cause I don't use it for fridge or Ac or pumping machine. My total load is not even up to 400w or 500w ( few bulbs, laptop, TV, game, air coolant (once a while),phone charger ) that is all.
And most time all my appliances are not on at the same time.

My next plan is to get DC appliances, I heard that is the next way to enjoy electricity if one wants to live an OFFGRID life in Naija.

1. Which brand of batteries are you using?

2. Since your inverter has an inbuilt charger, what is the need of connecting an external charger again ?

Fisher007:
Microtek 2.3kva inverter is awesome. I will advice you use it with a 200ah battery (at least 4 batteries).

You won't regret it. From experience I was using a 2.5kva mercury modified wave inverter before.
Mercury inverter is good if you want cheap modified inverter, I had to add a super charger to charge it faster.

But microtek is a better because it is pure sine wave, it doesn't spoil if there is a power surge unlike mercury. It charges faster too. Most people aren't aware because of the brand name.

What’s the disadvantage of using only 2 batteries with it? Please explain

And which batteries are you using for yours and which can you recommend for me ?

my inverter is a 24V 2.3kva microtek inverter

Recently installed this week with 2 batteries 12V each

But I wanna add 2 more batteries for more backup time.

Can four batteries work on it, because each battery is 12V and times four is 48V

Now it's even too late to mix it with same Zedix. Mixing it with another battery type will even make for a very shorter failure time.

What if it was 4 months ?

Penuelseun:
not the same manufacturer, different charging profiles, different age

So I should wait till the Zedix dies out completely before I can start using the Quanta

Also, is this a good charge controller

Anern 60Amps MPPT

Penuelseun:
No

Why can’t it work sir,

Please explain

mctfopt:
How old is the Zedix?

6 months

Hi guys,

I currently have a setup with 2 200AH 12V each Zedix battery

I wanna add extra 2 200AH 12 v each Quanta batteries for more lasting and longer backup

Can it fly ?

Most likely the TV will do 1.8 x 100v and even lower with energy saving mode on. Please get a watt meter

Your response is very correct, because when I googled, I saw a very similar response

Please with this image below, how can I calculate the wattage of my TV

Since Power (watts) = Volt times current

V x I

Will I multiply the 100 x 1.8 Amps or the
240 x 1.8 Amps

Thanks

But please does that mean out of wickedness anybody can just choose to report any account all because of in-flow? Because from what many are saying the bank will only act on the report and alert without verifying whether the account holder was actually the one who carried d out the transaction?

once an account is reported, the bank will side with the reporter and will hardly believe the reportee.

Too much masturbation leads to Erectile Dysfunction. Your d*ck will find it hard to get erect. Even if it gets erect, U lose the erection within minutes. It also makes u psychologically not have interest in sex. And if it happens just once in the presence of a woman, it will make U feel it is permanent and then U lose ur self esteem and become psychologically withdrawn and scared i wont have erection when with a woman and when u are with a woman, the erection will not come cos u have lost ur esteem
Erectile Dysfunction is also known as Impotence.

you are enlightened and if I may ask, are you a doctor ?

Can one accept payment from all countries and how much do they charge for unboarding, also fees per transaction.

Hello guys,

I’m setting up an ecommerce website in 2020.

What’s the easiest and most straightforward way to accept card payments on a website (both local and international).

I’m looking for one with less fees and easy on-boarding process.

Please advise
