shachris03: Look well, in all my post, i have never mentioned GMB. you guys are speaking of islamic hardliners. But if my memory serves me right, most of the infrastructures that we now enjoy were build for us by your so called islamic hardliners. Had it being that GEJ appreciated our royalty to him, i would be the last person here castigating him. GEJ is not trying for Igbos yet you guys are making him feel like he's the best thing to happen to igbos. Whether now or before, I was never a third class citizen in Nigeria. Don't know about you. I've always being given my due as a Nigerian and has not being discriminated on, in anyway. I have brothers and sisters living and doing business in the North. Igbos make themselves third class citizens when they align with Minorities like Ijaw. Imagine Ijaw of yesterdays are now our grandmasters. It baffles me when the great Ibos nation sell their selves cheap. GEJ will never and has never represented the Igbos. We either fight for our own presidency or we align with competence. Period. God bless you for this post! |

idumuose: APC is likened to an analogy Christ gave.
John the Baptist came not eating and drinking. You said he had a demon.
The son of man came eating and drinking. You said he is a wine bibber.
Ihejirika was accused of using excessive force on boko haram by the northern elders
El rufai accused the military of genocide.
Buhari opposed the state of emergency in the north.
Buhari accused Jonathan of killing bokoharam militants in other to reduce the population of the north.
The northern elders threatened to drag Ihejirika to the hague for ethnic cleansing..
APC i'm sorry to say is giving tacit support to boko haram. They are in support of these killings so that they can play politics with it.
The north is it's own enemy. They are the ones losing.Jonathan will keep doing his best to contain your shenanigans. Do you have any proof of APC's complicity in this or is biased, beer parlour talk that you are retailing? |

stagger: If you are a corper serving in the north, better read this. Start working on a plan of escape. Rehearse it daily. Keep physical cash on yourselves. Liaise with your family on an effective rescue plan in case you are stranded. Make sure u own a power bank for your phones in case you have to be on the run in the bush for days.
If you have the access, own a firearm. Borrowing from 2011 and from what those of us here have been hearing these Hausa boys say all over town recently, there is definitely going to be trouble if Buhari loses. Already in some northern states, my personal intelligence network has picked stories of people being beaten for merely mentioning the name Jonathan. Recently I was in a place in Abuja where it was "sai Bihari" all around me.
If you value your life as a corper serving in the north, take thus advice very seriously. Your life may depend on it. If several corpers could be killed and raped in 2011 because they were supposedly aiding GEJ in performing electoral duty, imagine 2015 when the stakes are exceedingly higher. Mr Stagger, has your personal intelligence network revealed the location of the chibok girls? Have you liased with security agencies? |

gboss4sure: Those participating in the north should be extremely careful, because they will force under aged voters on you and from February 15 to 16th when the result will be likely announced, make sure you are in a military barrack because there will be a repetition of what happened in 2011 in the north.
Left me with me, it would have been corpers from the north should serve in the north during this election period but the rigging over there will be massive.
In all, Stay Safe I believe you guys are just scaremongers. Though some parts of the north are volatile sometimes, post election violence is mostly a consequence of the perception of rigging. This is true in ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD! As for rigging, it is well known that the SS is the headquarters of rigging in Nigeria. I stand to be corrected on this. There is rigging everywhere but in the SS you hardly see any voting but allocation of votes. That is how you have 90% votere turnout always! |
Politics › Re: Fashiola Blasts Jonathan Over Speech At Lagos PDP Rally by jaytee01(m): 7:59am On Jan 10, 2015 |
Mcbussy: Dude STFU ...I'm not here because I'm interested in any party, and normally I even despise politics and the way its played, but sometimes, you have to just critically analyse all d irregularities in Nigerian politics.
Comparatively,do u think its proper for a leader that knows what he's doing to publicly cast blames of his failures or misfortune on his predecessors?
Despite all d criticism on Obama, have u ever heard him blame one problem on past leaders or Republicans?....or do u just think US doesn't have problems? Let's even consider developing countries; RSA, India, Ghana. Where have u ever heard a president in office publicly blaming the past leaders or oppositions for his administration's misfortunes?
The people that voted you in are aware of the fact that past leaders have put us in a bad shape. They voted u in with hope that u will change things in spite of all d setbacks. So why should he start giving excuses?...indeed, the kitchen is too hot for him,so I wonder why he wants to remain there in d 1st place.
If u ask me, Fashola's speech is a well constructed criticism. Kudos to a real SAN
Gej be blaming past leaders and opposition since 1523 BC ...give him 2,000 more years in office, he'll keep using the "Projection" defense mechanism to shift d blame of his failures to others |
