If I am to advice this kegamo I ll say the words of the faithful makes no easy punch through let alone that of a hypocrite. If he can do this to the govt that retained him. Any other govt is just a house of despair for him. So because the govt retained him to prosecute a case, he should now turn a blind eye to corruption and mismanagement of the country's economy? ichidodo: To get an idea of this whole APC propaganda connundrum you must come to an understanding of the multi complexity of running an opposition in a third world country.First and foremost you must have a media wing to inform and misinform for your interest this includes regular presence throughout the local and foreign digital spectrum (Tv,radio, print even social media-álà apc nairaland mod, e-warriors,e-rats and he-goats) at the same time fund a military wing to kill, terrorise, embarrass and cast aspersions or doubts-regularly exacerbated (add salt and pepper) by your media wing thus boosting Boko haram's morale for more massacres and gunfights with our gallant soldiers- on the government whilst also projecting your opposition in shining light to the people with jingos, slogans eg 'sai buhari'-never mind the ethnocentric meaning and very murderous intent of that particular jingo- .....The synergy btw this two wings is key.And that synergy is the main reason we have the APC,the hypocrisy, lies and media propaganda....This synergy is unlike what we have ever come across before because of its complexities across board-where you have moles and traitors in each camp- but our saving grace is that Nigerians are more enlightened in this digital age and can seek for alternative news streams, livefeeds, perspectives and opinions to buttress facts.....and cannot be fed lies by media monoplies as it was in the 80s. Beer parlour analysis |

Politics › Re: GEJ Support Group Accuses Shekarau, Wali Of Failing To Campaign For Him In Kano by jaytee01(m): 2:34pm On Jan 15, 2015 |
lummyD: The Goodluck/Sambo Support Group has accused two ministers from Kano and the state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial candidate of refusing to identify with President Goodluck Jonathan by shunning his posters.
“We wish to avail Mr. President and especially the Goodluck/Sambo Presidential Campaign Organization and the general public of the lackadaisical attitude of those charged with the campaign in the state as their approach lacks vigour,” the Chairman of the group, Abdulmuminu Musa, said in a state. “It is a statement of fact that nothing is being done at the moment to bolster the effort in the mobilization drive for the supporters for the re-election project with just about one month to go.”
The group observed that despite the proximity of the election date, February 14, there was still no campaign billboard of Mr. Jonathan in the state and no campaign structure on ground for the Jonathan/Sambo election.
“No branded vehicle of Mr. President is seen anywhere in the state, no candidate under the platform of PDP including our governorship candidate has openly identified with the aspiration of Mr. President by putting his picture side by side with their own as (has) been the trend,” the group said. “We can go on, but suffice it that the ugly trend can be turn around if Mr. President acts fast.”
Mr. Musa said the group believed Mr. Jonathan deserved better treatment. He said his group was made up of 120 sub-groups brought together under one platform to campaign for the president. He said they had managed to mobilise about 1.5 million followers in the last two years of their activities.
He lamented that despite their overwhelming strength none of the Jonathan/Sambo campaign people reached out to them, although they have structures spread across the state, local government and even ward levels.
“We wish to register our regrets that with the number of Federal Projects brought to Kano and the lucrative appointments given to the sons and daughters of the state as well as other tangible and intangible pecks, Mr. President deserves a better deal from his campaigners.
“It is also proper for us to reveal here that this ‘I don’t care attitude’ has begun to tell on some of our members thereby making them vulnerable for poaching by the opposition, especially at this eleventh hour. The Chairman of the Jonathan Kano Project 2015, a member of our group was lured away by the opposition, so we beg for quick action.” link: http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/174961-jonathan-support-group-accuses-shekarau-wali-failing-campaign-president-kano.html?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter What did they expect before? Iroh88: I was getting irritated by the writer's bias, but when I got to the point below: I couldn't stomach the irritation anymore.
Firstly, the writer made it sound as though it is INEC's fault some people have decided not to go out and collect their PVCs!! Of course not all eligible voters have theirs ready (which is a lapse that cuts across all the geopolitical zones), but the writer tried to make it look as though people from "Jonathan's strongholds" are the worst hit. Does he have a proof of that??
INEC published a data detailing the percentage PVC collection as against what has been made available across the country and one saw that Lagos, which constitutes one of the major advantages of the opposition, was lagging behind with barely over 50% of cards available collected so far, while states like Akwa-Ibom has very large percentage (84% there about). I bet the writer is ignorant of this!!! Does INEC have to coerce voters to go out and collect their PVCs?? The answer is, NO!
And back to the highly disgraceful quote above; the writer stated the incidences of violence the opposition has suffered as though it were some minor thing that could easily be waved aside, yet when he mentioned those suffered by PDP, he sounded like heaven was about to fall!! Tell me, since he chose to use the words apart from, let me join him in the game of "trivialising": now, "apart from" the burning of Jonathan's bus and the destruction of his campaign posters, what other casualty has PDP suffered?? People (APC members) were shot at at in PH and their secretariat bombed, but the writer imagines these are of lesser severity compared to burning of a bus and destruction of posters from the tone of his voice!!
How bias can a journalist be!!!
This write up is one of such things that fuel the violence the writer wants to make us believe he's preaching against. The guy must be restrained before he causes more harm.
When I got to that quote, I stopped and decided to check out the link. I wasn't surprised when I saw the name of the writer.
Smh.
