geezyk: This new Devil may cry season is just insane.
Bro... the fight scenes between Dante and Vergil did things to me. And when that song came on... "I am the storm that is approaching🎶" 🙆 I died and went to heaven. I'm typing this from the pearly gates.
OhBritannia: Man on fire is a solid 7/10 for me. Not bad at all, totally entertaining. Nice script. Good character development. Nice action scenes. A total thriller.
It seems fast paced but i love how they slowed things down for character development and to build bonds of friendship and trust for each other. That is one of the things i loved about the show. The prison and the hospital scenes were epic, peak nonstop thriller.
Is it related to the Denzel Washington movie in terms of the plot? If so, how does it compare?
Stephen0mozzy: A virgin female doctor? Hehehehe.... Asin, not to sound ignorant o... I guess there are tons of females who go through roughly 7years of medical school, 1year of housemanship, 1 year of youth service, around 3 years of junior residency...
Well, to return to your query... It could really be that she was ashamed, but I think she could have brought up the truth that she already had premarital sex before and doesn't want to do it again, without revealing anything about the abortion, and without claiming immaculate abstinence...but alas.
As you said, you like the way she carries herself.... Now I want to hope you rushed marriage preparation because of her value as a woman, AND NOT BECAUSE OF THE ILLUSION OF RETAINED HYMEN?
If the hymen was all you cared about, then I guess you should look for another resident doctor whose hymen is still resident in its natural position.
But if you want to marry her because of her personal qualities, see how you can forgive her LIE, but know that something built on a foundation of lies, already has a k-leg.
I wish you the bery vest.
I don't think it's about the hymen. It's about the lies. No marriage works without trust.
I'd say it's a 9/10. It's got so many compelling characters and most of the events portrayed are based on real life scenarios, for example, the US flooding black streets with cocaine to fund a war.
armadeo: I've abandoned this show. I even forgot about it. I really hate the shonda rhimes personification of the smart back woman surrounded by stupid men, particularly white men.
I started scandal but got bored and irritated by the lead after a while. Da Bleep. She's nothing special as far as I'm concerned and why the Bleep was the American president so simple.
Glad I didn't waste too much of my time. I stopped watching after about 15 minutes. It just didn't seem like something I would enjoy.
OhBritannia: House of David is a solid 10/10 for me.
This show is the perfect definition of perfection!!!! First of all, let me give a special shout out to the actor that played "Samuel" The man played it as if he was born for the role.. The facial expressions, the body movements, the movement of his eyes, hand gestures, the way he speaks. The man was good mehn!!!!
I had a hard time believing it was the same man that played the bad guy in Avatar. I never knew he had such range. Kudos to him. He deserves major props for his performance.
DieRich5: No WWE person can act god of war besides Dwayne Johnson
Do you know how many fans god of war has? So I don’t think dem will cast someone who is not in the acting game for so long This will be one of the greatest series to be air so dem won’t Bleep up
The Rock always acts as The Rock. He has no range. I'm not sure he'd be a good fit. Plus he'll probably try to take over the show.
zoroby: You should have started with 'in my opinion...'
It goes without saying that what I wrote there is my opinion of the show. That should be very obvious. You could tell us what you liked about WoT or why you think it's better than GoT instead of telling people what to say.
abduleez1: One of the most profound and deep moments in a TV show. It's dialogue, bleakness and realism gets to you. Probably the richest dialogue I've ever experienced on TV. A dialogue heavy show I was hooked from the start to bottom on every characters words. And that annoying overzealous woman, is it Betty or what was her name needed to be smacked had I'm the face.
Imo, Mike Flanagan's best work. God tier storytelling.
What an amazing show! My favorite part of the entire show was that woman's final monologue. What happens when we die?
pu7pl3: Bro I swear I'm shocked The amount of love it's getting dey muzz me. Isn't this the same isekai almost everyone was shitting on? Well I'm glad I stuck through with peak from the beginning despite all the bad word of mouth.
Jarchi: GOT is over hyped. Movies are created for entertainment, to catch fun, not some dissertation you criticise. What's the comparison? A new generation is coming, and what was peak would look like the starting point.
First of all, I didn't initiate the comparison. The other person did by saying that Wheel of Time is far better than GoT, which is just not true. Second of all, just because something is created for entertainment doesn't mean we as consumers can't criticize it. I don't know where you got this logic from. I have fun watching movies and I have just as much fun breaking them down and debating about them with like-minded individuals. You said that GoT is overhyped but you didn't say how. And I don't even know what you were trying to say with your last sentence.
I'm done watching Wheel of Time and I think it's overhyped. Considering the amount of money they're spending on it (16m per episode apparently),it really should be way better. Even forgetting the money, the script couldn't match GoT even at GoT's worst. There's no comparison to be made here. It's just not on GoT's level at all.
I'm up to date on this show now and here's my review:
The Wheel of Time offers a visually rich fantasy escape with a sprawling world, though it stumbles with forced romances and a reluctance to kill off major characters, thereby muting its stakes. A decent ride worth a 7/10🤷🏽
Whoever recommended A Thousand Blows (I think it was Brittania), thank you! I absolutely loved it. It's like Peaky Blinders meets Warrior. Just what I needed.
GistMedia0: Nigerian singer Ayra Starr recently made headlines after linking up with former adult film actress Mia Khalifa at London Fashion Week. The meeting sparked discussions on Nigerian social media.
Both stars walked the runway, with Ayra Starr dazzling in a white mesh crop top and skirt, showcasing her signature short hairstyle. Mia Khalifa, now a media personality, also modeled at the event.
A video of their brief exchange surfaced online, where Ayra Starr warmly told Mia Khalifa, "Love to see you." The clip quickly went viral, making Mia Khalifa a trending topic on X (formerly Twitter).
Social media reactions were mixed, with some excited by the encounter while others questioned the connection. Regardless, the moment further cemented Ayra Starr’s global recognition.
annolomy: I'm afraid my girlfriend doesn't love me, but only after the money she receives from me. What can I do to test her loyalty and to know if she truly loves me and not double dating.
Additionally, next month is her birthday, what type of gift will you suggest I buy for her please?
Has anyone here seen Death's Game? Trust me, check it out. Korean cinema has been a refreshing alternative for me as of late. They have so many fresh concepts and a different way of doing things compared to America.
