I don't know how far back your film and show history goes, but they were actually gay characters in oldies alot, like a whole lot, one of HBO's best show ever and quite frankly a consensus all time fave of many people, Six Feet Under, had prominent gay characters, way back as 2001!. It didn't use to bother anybody then, because it wasn't slapped on just about any media like it is today.

But then again, they had no voice then, and like every facet of human history, they feel they have a voice now, and they need to be heard. You are well within your rights to be totally vexed seeing same sex relationships in media, but if i was chronic betting man, my money would be on you been mad, at like 70% of shows and movies, out, moving forward, especially from tamed conservative places like Hollywood and the British.

1. You remember he is a loner and works alone.

2. He isn't working for any government organization that grants him access to tech support.

3. You forget he is a mimic, I won't be surprised if he kills the guard and takes his 'place'. + why you did you think he insisted on going to the guy's place. I
If he was actually gay, it would have been easy to invite the guy to his hotel, yet he insisted on going to the guy's place.

4. All this outrage, for all we know, from the kiss he can just slice his neck. It's not as if they were shown having sex na.

Pretty sure Harry Potter is up there among the most bankable IPs this side of the century and as such she can do and say whatever the F she wants with little or no blow back...

The mob can try, but you can't cancel a generational talent like this, most especially when said talent is caucasian....😮‍💨

Lol they literally foreshadowed it when he met the guy the first time. I knew that was how he will make his way in. They have shown how far he will go to achieve his goals. That shouldn't surprise you if you were following his progression. Even the man that hire him for the new job clocked it when he heard about what he did to the man that didn't pay.

The only thing I was unsure of is what kind of a man he was outside the job. The smartest thing to do would be to kill his wife and her family when they found his hideout. But he didn't meaning he has a massive weakness there that can be 100% exploited by his enemies.

But his wife did come in with the clutch in the last episode. So not 100% a bad idea but still a weakness nonetheless.

Its a solid showing if you ask me. But then again they could have used a female instead of a male.

I disagree about the fights in Arcane being great tho...

I watched Arcane season 1 just few days ago, and I can barely remember any battles. They are all mostly forgettable...they don't leave a mark at all.
There is no buildup to the battles, they just come and go and don't stick to memory

Meanwhile fight scenes that I watched in say Naruto years ago are still very fresh in my memory

Dune movie it's self picked up gradually, plenty of details.

Some directors like films to be kind of difficult sometimes, I watch shows like dis when am so less busy and have the time, some times I sleep off and resume. Lol

I don't see how all the various plotlines come together and get resolved in 3 episodes....

It will likely end either open-endedly or with various loose plot threads...

Or maybe the other planned series set in the Arcane world would tie up other loose ends...

Maybe I should also have faith in the writers. They could still pull it off and tie up everything in 3 episodes somehow...

It won't matter anyway...give fans good music and most will overlook any issue...

E.g the writing in this season has been pretty weak but people were apparently crying because of episode 6...

I honestly do not know what people were crying for.
Vander? He's been out since season 1 episode 3 and was reintroduced suddenly and he is somehow very important for some vague reason...

Isha? She's barely a character and her only relevance is tied to Jinx. She doesn't even serve any purpose to the plot...
I genuinely don't believe any fan truly cares about her because there's barely any reason to aside the fact that she's cute...

Viktor? His death was actually sad but also confusing since we are in the dark as to why Jayce suddenly killed Viktor...
So it's more of conflicting...

Good music and a montage of Isha who no one really cares about and some people are crying...
No wonder they doubled down on the music this season...

I don't even see where the Mel plotline is going or why the writers made her survive the bomb...

Edit: I even forgot that Ekko existed.

I just hope they tie it all together in a satisfying way...

Ambressa Medarda so far is the most interesting character this season...

I hope she gets everything she wants. She's my favorite character in the show...and I fully support her

Special opps: Lioness season 2 has been a solid 7.5/10 for me.
After five episodes, i can confidently say i am impressed.
This season 2 is more intensed, more action, better script, better dialogues and improved character development.

The last episode ended in a sure cliffhanger, it may seems as though she disobeyed orders on purpose.
I mean why else would she make that call to her husband and tell him that she has found a way out.
Probably she knew that her next move is about to get her and her team suspended.
Well i guess we have to find out in episode 6.

The story is very realistic with non-realistic concepts and that's difficult to do that when a movie is this fictional. The story is developed well, but the characters aren't. Snyder re-wrote the script in David Hayder because it wasn't 'true' to the source material. If you're writing a movie, you have to be creative with it and pleasurable for people to watch in cinemas, Zack didn't do that, the movie was boring asf, only some scenes were ok, he just vomited what the comics did without adding nuance to the already made story. Look at the Boys - if they had followed it to the T, it wouldn't be as good as it is.

The folk who said Snyder's writing in movies are good is dumb, none of the film's written by Snyder has ever been good. Maybe the action is usually great but in Rebel Moon - both the writing and action are very bad, to many slow mo shots and crappy dialogue sequences. No rewatchability value. I decided to watch Watchmen recently. The movie is so baddddd!!!!! And I watched the 4 hours cut!!!! Everything is just all over the place. I don't still know what Animation is doing there!!!

Hazard is not even on the same talent level as players such as Bergkamp, Kanu, Robben, Kaka, Okocha, Rooney, Nanị, Pedro, Bale etc...

If he had said Messi is better than Ronaldo, no wahala, but for him to put himself on the same talent level with CR7, that's where the problem is..... Even CR7 chest passes are better than Hazard talent....

Well if Hazard Talent is on the same level with CR7 as he thinks... Why didn't he win all these at his time at EPL??
