MaziOmenuko:
I guess you are too naive to realize that 'defend' your budget .means come and grease our palms.

The senate does not have any right to tamper with the budget, neither do they have the rights to summon MDA's to defend a budget. Are they saying the executive don't know what they are doing? The senate functions when it comes to the budget is an oversight function. This senate is overreaching it's functions. They want to police everyone and everywhere.

The MDA's and ministers has already called their bluff. Maybe they need the judiciary to be reminding them of what and what they can't do.
Don't get caught up with literature... Or insinuations without facts.

Wike does not understand the need for such an enormous project. Why embark on a landmark project when you can simply do one or two roads then pocket the rest of the money and still be hailed as Mr project.

Amaechi should have ensured he completed the project. It stalled for a long time making people wonder if he was really interested in the project at all or if it was a means of syphoning funds.
Hmm objective comment. The second part is true.

There's no story...just the Zionists claiming their inheritance. Do you think ipob just gave Buhari the jitters? No! It is the link of ipob with the Zionists that scared the government shittless
PoliticsRe: Omo-agege Will Be Allowed To Resume – Senate by Jazzlite: 5:03am On May 15, 2018
MaziOmenuko:
This year is almost half gone and this senate has not passed the budget the executive submitted since late 2017. What they are waiting for is to conclude the padding so they can hurriedly pass it so the executive won't have the option of rejecting the padded budget since the year is almost gone.

This same trend repeats itself every year. Corruption is gradually becoming a tradition in this country. See how they are fiercly chasing down their own colleague rather than doing that which they were elected to do.

I will keep saying it: this democracy is not working for us at all. We have tried democracy since 99 and we aren't better off where the military left us. No better infrastructure, no rule of law, no value system, nothing. Worse still, the future looks dim.
I guess you leased out your ears when the legislature was screaming that MDAs and other parastatals have refused to come and defend their respective budgets? Only for you to come and display your writing gymnastics in defence of futility.

Front page plsss, Wike should take the glory by completing this project
That project will ruin Rivers State financially. And strategically Wike should only consider this project in his second term.

Is that blue train in Rivers State or a just pictorial representation of plans? Amaechi refused to answer questions pertaining to this project... Op add the costs... Yes the costs and amount spent so far... Like the $400 million dollars by amaechi....yes

Well said my brother.
He said nonsense. Ask progress69 why Buhari has refused to release dasuki, zakzaky despite several court orders directing same. The Senate is by far a more credible institution than the executive arm of the APC government.

More than dead.
They seem not to be aware of their low coverage in Ekiti.
As much as Ekiti doesn't want anything with Fayose, Fayemi is not an option. Eleka will be the necessary evil that Ekiti people will have to hold onto in the coming election.
Exactly. Segun Oni would have been better on SDP or any other serious party. He is an household brand.

If I'm Fayemi, the only thing I need to do to win the election is to promise to pay the backlog of salaries that Fayose owes and wants to use to settle Ozekhome. Simple! Eleka has no name, no base and no loyalists. All those that Fayose has chased away from the PDP because of his insistence on Eleka will just port to the APC and help Fayemi win.
Fayemi is not a loyal politician.

I have that feeling too.
If fayemi should clinch the primaries, then APC should forget it. With Fayemi, they can't win a local government not to talk of the entire state.

I pity APC ahead.
Then APC will be dead in the State. Already it is in comatose.
