i am an under-graduate, the absurdity of the scenero in IT is dawned on me... i can now read between the lines. at the inception of my career, i emphatically made it clear to my close ones that i wanted to be an IT expert, most of them discouraged me in studying computer science.
i can i assurd u, studying computer science is the best for any IT guru because here we practise wit different high level language like java/c++/Vb/Fortran etc we also study mathematics, algorithm, flowchart, SQL, pseudecode, data structures, basic networking principles and many more. with all this knoweledge i can developed dynamic applications/web apps wit its database making use of oracle/mysql/derby db/access etc
i am currently working for an App for my School Grading System and a business Apps for my uncle.
my point is that computer science enables me to concentrate in it field.

many univ/sch accept the combination of Neco and Waec result......Unilag doesn't collect it is becos the don't allow more than one sitting.... so my dear you can still make it to other schools, good luck.

You guyz shud stop saying crazzing tins abt comp sc..... I am computer science student @ IMSU, I studied oracle 11g @ NIIT i'm wit my OCA cert and am stil studing JAVA @ karrox... But rit now i can read btwn d linez very well and i can assure u studing computer science @ UNI is great and advicible. This centers claiming to knw all abt ICT/IT only focuses on how to manage all dix already made programs/software that are new/latest in town but the won't wilden ur knowledge on hw to invent it or think like a smart programmer so that one day u might b d boss and not alwaz depending on pples stuf/users. Tnk u all.

u dnt realy hav to know/learn any programing languague b4 jumping to oracle because d hv different packages.... For sql issue it depends on d training center, may b d wnt to mak more money.
