ocelot2006:Who made Akpabio commissioner in Akwa Ibom State for 8yrs and allowed him to learn politics and empowered him to propel him for a governorship of the state? Attah. Who gave Godswill Akpabio his first real job after law school? Who recommended Akpabio to Attah to be made commissioner? On whose slot did Akpabio become a politician of repute in Akwa Ibom? Etiebet. And the host of other Great sons of Akwa Ibom who helped him along the way all for him to turn around to insult and claim to retire this guys from politics, His own retirement from politics and insults and persecution awaits him after may 29th, remember Akpabio in a public function disgracing Senator Etok, a senator of the federal republic by announcing publicly that he made him senator and that he is appointing him as the DG of his campaign for the senate seat he occupied. His own time is coming what goes around comes around. He should brace up and be ready to take it as a man, what you do to others will be repaid unto you. |
ocelot2006:keep leaving in denial. in a few days Akpabio will no longer be governor and the state treasury that he used to buy favour will be gone and the stark reality of fleeting political power will hit him, his friends will desert him and those he thought were friends will turn against him and then he will surely understand that no condition is permanent.and that political power does not last for ever. Pretty soon there will be no more Aso rock visits and no more private jet and frivolous expenses at the state's expense and he will come to terms with the fact that its good to be kind to people you meet on your way up as you may meet them on your way down. Akpabio bit the hands that feed him, Etiebet, Attah, etc he will meet these guys again soon after may 29th when his immunity will expire. like i said there will be a different nigeria from may 29th, Akpabio power in the state and Nigeria will wane and he will eat the humble pie just like all other politicians that exited power. Akpabio will become a floor member in the senate that's if okorie doesn't succeed in nullifying his election at the tribunal. |
Tribunal orders inspection of 450,000 ballot papers used in Akpabio’s election The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal for Akwa Ibom on Friday ordered the inspection of 450,000 ballot papers used in declaring Gov. Godswill Akpabio as Senator-elect. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Akpabio the winner of the March 28 Senatorial Election for Akwa Ibom North West District. This declaration prompted the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Senatorial District, Chief Inibehe Okorie, to petition the Tribunal asking that Akpabio’s election be nullified for alleged irregularities. Ruling on the prayers of the petitioner, the Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Adedayo Oyebanji, directed that the polling documents used in the election be inspected. Oyebanji explained that the order was derived from the provisions of Section 151 (1) of the Electoral Act 2010. The section allows for inspection of polling documents if the Tribunal is satisfied that it could help maintain or defend an election petition. The chairman further directed that the inspection should be conducted within 10 days from May 8, in the presence of the respondent or his agents and the security agents. Earlier, the counsel to the petitioner, Chief Assam Assam (SAN), had prayed the Tribunal to grant leave for inspection of the polling document to verify 450,000 votes scored by Akpabio. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Weekly-Insight-Newspapers/169689976414126 |
ocelot2006:Keep laughing, The Nigeria of GEj/PDP will be different from the Nigeria of GMB/APC. Akpabio does not have the imunity and the federal government cover he had under GEJ, so anything can happen to his candidate from May 29th 2015. Udom needs to seriously distance himself from Akpabio and his style of ethnic politics if he hopes to survive. Before you laugh Again take a look at the Akwa Ibom leaders in that picture with buhari, You cant fight all those people alone, espercially a young and inexperienced politician like Udom without a federal cover which was Akpabio's saving grace. |

It looks like Udoms election will be overturned at the tribunal.Akwa Ibom Elders are against the election/non election that threw up Udom
|
@Op this is evidence why nigeria should be split into two countries, one for the northern Muslims and another for the christian south. So that the north will not be tainted with corruption which is only endemic in the south. |

How can one person turn all these elders of the state against his government and survive? Will Udom's Mandate Survive this political onslaught with the exit of President Jonathan and PDP at the centre? Its beginning to look like Udom May lose his Governorship seat After may 29th. If this happens he has Akpabio to blame, because i feel all these elders are more of Akpabio's Enemy than Udom's, Udom should distance himself from Akpabio and his style of ethnic politics and insult to state elders from may 29th if he wants his government to succeed What do you think?

Why Enugu House served Gov. Chime impeachment notice Enugu —The Enugu State House of Assembly, yesterday, resolved to serve a notice of impeachment on Governor Sullivan Chime for alleged infractions ranging from inflation of contracts to forgery of the state budget. - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/05/why-enugu-house-served-gov-chime-impeachment-notice/#sthash.34rmh918.dpuf |
Truth be told the abia state and ebonyi state secretariat built by T A orji and martin elechi are much better looking and has bigger capacity than this overhype. Enugu secretariat that chime is and will not complete by may 29 2015. |
Party leaders world over resigns immediately without cohesion once they fail to led their party to victory in a general election. Muazu should not wait to be told to leave, he should resign honorably. He failed to win the election, which means his strategy did not work he should take responsibility for the failure and move on. |
If falana doesn't. Criticize Buhari admin as he did Gej then he has sold out |
mzilakazi:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lion_King read that crazy and hateful xenophobe. The lion king is a walt disney movie produced in hollywood and is not South African. |
mzilakazi:you are the dummy that try to take credit for the sweat of others. The lion king is a hollywood creation and not south African! |
mzilakazi:when did disney pictures/ movies become south African? Frozen which is the latest disney movie takes its character and plot/setting from Norway, that dosent make it a norwegian movie. the lion king may have taken its setting and plot in South Africa, it dosent make it a SA movie. They are Hollywood creations. Stop claiming whats not yours, you crazy and hateful xenophobe . |
QuotaSystem:We will fall in line for buhari the same way you and fellow buhari supporters fell in line for President Jonathan! Yeye dey smell. |
Kwankwiso should enjoy the presidential victory for the time being until the time comes to hand over to Osinbajo and tinubu. ![]() |

JingoOAU:We want to rid ourselves of parasites that are sucking our life blood away. |
Volksfuhrer:The North are parasites in Nigeria they are lazy, uneducated, uncivilized etc PEJ was just telling them the truth, GEJ tried to educate them by building schools and universities for them and what was their response? Boko Haram( Education Is Sin) you can take that to the bank. |
The day of reckoning is coming, Kwankwaso keep running your mouth, Let the North and those who think they own Nigeria Remember the region that pays their bills. We in the Niger Delta will Soon do what a host does when he can no longer support its parasites. |
JingoOAU:If your parasitic and unviable state and region were not weighing down our resources and tarnishing our international reputation with your illiteracy, child abuse, insurgency and primitive lifestyle the we would have surpassed Dubai by now! |
guy abeg don't make me laugh. What bloody "hands" fed Akpabio? Is it Attah that wanted to impose his son-in-law on us? Or Etiebet that's.....well, pretty much a dead weight? Are those the "hands" you're talking about? Even UOU's LGA is predominantly PDP and the same clown has zero structure in the APC, a party that has a near zero footprint in Akwa Ibom (yeah we only notice them when they swing their brooms in their short campaign convoys, or when they throw tantrums like bunch of kids destroying public and private properties). Even Udoedeghe stands a better chance than that bumwipe.
