I pretty much agree with the point raised by Sicherheit that dealers should update their profile with verifiable information and photographs, at least thats something everyone can do.
It gives a prospective customer/client the opportunity of carrying out independent checks.
While we keep brain storming on way forward, let us explore little changes within our rights as forum members 

I'm glad the issue has been laid to rest but I cant help but wonder that if inspite of all the publicity it took this long to resolve, wat if there was no publicity

All d same, glad he got his money back , could have been worse.

Main lesson , let's all learn to come clean and stop "posting" people.

Other lessons,  for the customer its due diligence (dont rely only on wat u see on NL)  and for the dealer its to realise that customer's expectations differ(wat one man can take and not flare up another wld not).

Food for thought, life is too short and d world too small, u never can tell, d same way it takes one satisfied customer to pull a Mega deal, it takes one disgruntled customer to avert several deals.

I think it all boils down to managing customer's expectation.
It's also an eye opener on the shipping process and all.
By and large I believe there is some learning for all, seller, buyer, prospective buyers, prospective dealers, onlookers etc.

While trying my best possible not to take sides here:

The key issue here is that German007 has raised the hopes of a customer and has hidden facts and details about a transaction from him.
I'm not privy to the agreement they had in the first place but then its clear the car was not delivered on the due date.
In fairness to German 007 he says its due to situations beyond his control (and he has provided evidence which I believe can be verified).
Now the customer is hurt and decides to react, whether he went about it the right way or not is another subject, which of course is dependent on the communications they've being having before now.

The real question for me is why do we hide info from customers in issue like this and in instances like this?

Integrity and credibility are quite fragile and should be balanced properly.

If I hear well the customer is not so afraid of the fact that he wont get his car but that it wont meet the need.

I believe this is just another opportunity to learn for existing customers, dealers and prospective customers



On the otherhand, if on this forum and based on the good posts, feedbacks  and comments of people He has made a decision to transact business with someone he has not met which is a risk on
