Actually, the above story is an illustration of the expectations of a number of ladies even on NL here(most especially the pretty ones) but they leave these expectations unspoken. What they do in these parts instead is date you for a while if they imagine that you may be rich and sfter finding out that you are on the average or still struggling, the excuses start rolling in and no matter how much material wealth They've managed to acquire from you, they still leave.

As a rule of thumb for them, they probably would never tell you that they are leaving because you ain't rich - the excuses may range from seeing some random text from another female on your device to incompatibility etc. The major thing to note here is that these other excuses will be used because you are not so rich, else trust me such a lady would rather fight to keep you than leave you .
