Let all ur postings be within the 21 rules of NL

The guidelines are as follows:
1) You create a VN using any sound recording software on your device.
2) You ensure to keep the recording within either two mins or 200kb for it to be 'uploadable'.
3) When Uploading a VN, you must still type some few words in the comments box for it to be 'uploadable'.
4) For those using mobile browsers, its easier to upload using UC browser than Opera or main browser.
5)if you are Uploading using UC browser, try not to keep ur content for longer than a min before you submit else you will get an error msg. Meaning that you should first make the VN(noting the location it was saved), then go ahead and click on reply to arrive @ the comments box, type something short, then use the browse/choose to navigate to the VN file, select it then proceed to submit. If you r Uploading more than one file @ once, make sure you have created all the files before you click on reply. Cheers. [/b]

So much has been said about how this is a faceless forum but these days there seem to be many picture threads. It is now time to also give the forum a voice and so let's introduce the Sweet, Sexy & Beautiful Voices of Nairalanders. (Beauty as they say is in the eyes/ears of the beholder, so all voices are beautiful eventually )

This particular thread will be for Shout-Outs(SO) to different Nairalanders depending on you i.e depending on those you know or those you regard (make sure you mention me o -just joking). The major aim is to have fun, so 'put on your best voices' (no fake accents o ) and give a shout out to a member or members.

Below I will post links to virtually all the VNs (with permission) that have been created by Nairalanders before the inception of this thread.
Afterwards, any Nairalander can then make a Shout-Out Voice Note (SOVN) for any other Nairalander(s) - greetings basically& whatever(as the spirit leads you )
The next post shall contain rules and guidelines.

And kept $1[/quote]In actual fact the calculation was done to mislead. The child's dollar is actually part of the $98. So to solve the mystery, you have to choose a standpoint-either the child or the parents.
If you make the child the standpoint then the calculation becomes cost of shirt($97) + Amt returned($2) + Amt kept($1) = $100

The below is a painting and there is a story bin depicted by the painting. Your task wud be to tell us how many people/faces you can find in the painting and then what story you think the painting is telling. . (the idea is to determine how imaginative/creative you are but also note that the sole aim of the exercise is the FUN that can be derived from it )

TNX Shuga for bailing us out of this one. The solution I wud have given wud hav complicated matters for some ppl as I wud have referred to the principles of accounting (assets & liabilities)

@Isale_gan2 and Shugamania, the two faces are just as explained by Sweet Tease(they just seem hidden but you can definitely see the faces clearly if you slant ur head a bit to the left or ur device a bit to the right) .
And BTW the answer is not assumed but rather was the basis for the drawing by the original artist.

THESE ARE THE AWARDS

If you Find 12 faces then you are extremely observant, Very intuitive and creative.

If you Find 11 faces, then you are very observant. Congratulate yourself. (I also spotted 11 @ first )

If you Find 10 faces, then you have above average power of observation.

If you find 9 faces, then you have an ordinary power of observation.

If you find 8 or less , then you are too negligent of your environment and you need to work on yourself.
