Abugab: If Buhari meets the needs of 95% isn't that excellent? Why the cry here? Let him even meet the 95% or thereabout first. We have had people who despite telling us we shall all benefit didn't meet up to 10% of Nigerians needs. We too complain self.....
When this insurgency was at grass root level the Northern govt and their people supported them. The northern Muslim brotherhood called them our fellow brothers in Islam. This is just like America and Osama Bin Laden. You will reap what you sow someday.
JEGA01: There is confusion in Nkerefi community in Nkanu East local government area of Enugu State, as suspected assassins invaded the area Friday night killing the traditional ruler of Isienu Amofu, Igwe Peter Onuoha.
Also, a native identified as Chocho as well as a man and his wife, whose identities are yet to be ascertained were also reportedly killed by the gunmen.
Some other natives who were reportedly shot by the gunmen, who invaded the community under the cover of darkness, are said to be receiving treatment at the Catholic Church-owned, Annunciation Specialists Hospital, Emene Enugu.
Sources hinted that the residents of the community were thrown into confusion last night when the sound of sporadic shooting by the gunmen rented the air.
Those residing near the palace of the royal father were said to have fled their homes on hearing the sound of the guns but some unlucky ones were hit by the flying bullets.
At the end of the shooting, the fleeing natives returned only to discover that their traditional ruler, Igwe Onuoha and one Chocho had been shot dead. The personal assistant to the royal father identified as Vincent, was reportedly shot while fleeing the palace but he survived the attack.
Within the neighbourhood , it was further gathered that a man and his wife, said to be a nurse, were also found dead on account of gunshot wounds they sustained.
The reason for the attack could not be immediately ascertained but sources said the royal father and some youths in the community had disagreed over a suspicious spiritual sacrifice he made in the community sometime last year.
The source said: “Last year, Igwe and youths in the village had problem when they (youths) accused the monarch of retarding the progress of the community through fetish practices but the Igwe had reportedly told them that the sacrifice he did was purely for his protection and that of his family members and not on behalf of the entire community.
“Angered by the development, the youths were said to have forcefully uprooted the royal father’s signboard to express their disloyalty but the community leaders condemned the act and threatened to fish out and discipline the youths involved. Some of the culprits ran out of the community since then but it is not clear for now if the exiled youths are responsible for this bloodbath.”
Igwe Onuoha, the Eze Na Chi 1, was the Managing Director of Posdonal Nigeria Limited and Secretary of Nkanu East Traditional Rulers Council.
The Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the incident said the royal father and three others lost their lives in the bloody incident that occurred at Nkerefi last night.
He said that the corpse of the royal father had been deposited at the Eastern Nigeria Medical Centre, Enugu while three other corpses were deposited at Agbani Health Centre in Nkanu West local government area.
The police spokesman said that operatives of the state police command “are already on the matter to unravel the circumstances surrounding their deaths but from available information there seems to be an internal wrangling among the people of the community”.
Lol. Being a black man or woman is tough in this world. Oyibo that bathes twice or three times a week to save water, will hold their nose when they see you. Some people will openly refuse to serve you, some will refuse to even answer you or give you a job.
Racism is everywhere, the level of racism depends on the country i.e are you in a country as hard as Poland or in one where they have a lot of people of different races such as the United States? If you live in a city with people from different countries, it tends to be much less.
Its not all bad, some people will actually like you for being black others will detest you. The point is you don’t know who is going to hiss at you in the morning or smile, which can be depressing.
Also the poorer you are and the poorer the society you live in, the more racism you are likely to suffer. Rich people are welcome anywhere. A rich black man will think he is the most loved person in the world in some of these places but still some people will not care and look at you like you were coated in dawadawa and smell of the substance. You need a strong mind for this one.
4. Loneliness
In Nigeria, its never hard to make friends. Even with Iya that owns the provision store near your house, where you can sit down and discuss everything from the thieves that are stealing Nigeria’s money to that single woman in your compound who is always entertaining men with different cars at all hours of the day.
In Obodo Oyibo, nobody has time to sit around and discuss. Your neighbour will see you in the morning and walk past without saying hello. The person smiling for you in the store is only trying to separate you from your money. You cannot call people to gist with them on the phone and spend one or two hours. Calling Nigeria however might be easier because of Internet calls, however when you have to work for food you have little time to socialize.
Over time you might learn to make friends with co-workers, other Nigerians and other people, but it will take a lot of time. People you spend time gisting with today might not even acknowledge you tomorrow. That is the way it is.
I miss only the noise and katakata wey be part of Nigeria life
To read football news, u no sabi...how u go fit sabi play common orange? Oya, read am again below.
As explained by FIFA, the volatility of the ranking this month is due in part to the many matches that have been played: with 26 Copa América matches, 99 qualifying matches for the World Cup or continental tournaments, and 88 friendlies, the number of matches taken into account has almost doubled the amount for the year so far (477 matches in total). The world football governing body said that the other reason is that the matches from last year’s World Cup have been devalued.
IamDino: This ranking is trash. WTF is Romania doing amongst the top 10? See countries wey top Nigeria na people wey no sabi ball like us. . . .Oliseh will return the lost glory soon. . Lalasticlala push this to Fp.
Because you don't watch football. Maybe only Nigeria league.
FlirtyKaren: Can you spot the lady sweeping all the money with a broom? Austria was set on fire on the 27th of June 2015, when these two Nigerians from Benin wedded - Ambassador Uwadiae Osawaru, the President of the Dons Club of Europe and his wife Maureen. Trust Nigerians not to carry last, Ambassador's club members made sure the theme of the wedding was simply and purely MONEY. They took to the dance floor and showered the couple with racks upon racks upon racks of money, blowing the dough like it was nothing. See more pics from the too much money splashing event after the cut.

Sorry dude for your misconception. There are so many man made problems under independence from God. They go against God's will and never recognises that God exists until disaster strikes and they start calling on to the unknown god.
Troubled Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor filmed converting ...
Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor has certainly had a difficult few months at Tottenham Hotspur, recently revealing some crazy stories about his family on his Facebook page.
In May, Tottenham gave the player time off due to concerns over his mental health.
With his future currently unclear, the former Arsenal and Manchester City forward was today filmed converting to Islam.
In the video above Emmanuel Adebayor is filmed taking the Shahada (the Islamic creed declaring belief in the oneness of God and the acceptance of Muhammad as God’s prophet).
Once of the Christian faith, Adebayor appears to be trying to put his family and their history behind him.
misssclassy: This is the problem with us Nigerians. We don't value what is ours. What's special about her eating Nigerian food? Don't we eat foreign food everyday? Do these foreigners that we eat their food run to social media and celebrate it as a thing of note?
So what the hell is our problem?
You shouldn't be angry dude. White people in the media post rubbish too.
Franchise21: At least 30 people have been reported dead following fresh attacks by gunmen in Birnin-Magaji local government area of Zamfara, the News Agency of Nigeria reports. The Chairman of the council, Muhammad Gusami, said on Sunday that the attacks took place in Kokeya and Chigama villages in the area. Mr. Gusami said the gunmen invaded Kokeya village with motorcycles and killed two persons, set some houses ablaze and carted away animals mostly cows. He said that the “unfortunate incident” had been reported to the Divisional Police Officer of Birnin-Magaji as well as soldiers on surveillance of the zone. According to him, while this is going on, the attackers returned the next day and invaded the neighbouring village of Chigama. “The gunmen, however, killed more than 30 persons whose bodies were still being recovered from the bush,’’ he said. The chairman said the corpses have been taken to Birnin-magaji General Hospital. He said the Chigama attack took place shortly after three police trucks just left the area when they noticed that peace had returned to the area. He added that the armed bandits also set several houses on fire on their second attack on Chigama village. The News Agency of Nigeria did not state when the attacks occurred. Ibrahim Sani, a witness, said that the gunmen who invaded Kokeya came while the villagers were closing from their prayers. “The attackers shot sporadically in the air which prompted the people of Chigama to intervene. “That may have provoked the gunmen to come back so as to punish Chigama people for trying to prevent the attack the previous day. “While three persons were killed from Kokeya and Chigama on the first day in Kokeya, more than 50 were killed on the second day in Chigama while several houses were burnt,” Mr. Sani said. The Police Public Relations Officer, Sanusi Amiru, who confirmed the attack, said that the police and army have moved to the area and normalcy had been restored. (NAN)
