There lies the myopic and unexposed perceptions held by a vast majority of Nigerians. First of all, apart from perhaps the exuberance of youth available to anyone less than 35, there is no reason why a focussed 45year old cannot engage their experience, at the level or even better than anyone younger. Some 'NLers'(sic) are saying "start your own business" Is this 45year old willing to do that? How are we sure he hasn't tried that? Perhaps, like a few gifted people I know, he would prefer somewhere to go to and something stable at the end of the month. The possibilities are endless. I think the challenge with Nigeria is breaking the status quo. I would employ a stable, experienced, professional 45 year old, with personal and family commitments, sowed his career wild oats and knows what he's doing rather than employ an early 20s who doesn't know what he wants to do with him or herself. Anyways, dear op, please keep at the job search, if no one in Nigeria will hire you, perhaps you should think a change of approach or relocation. You will succeed |
Pls anyone got an update on old mutual nigeria interview? Its been ages ago |
