I understand that what I am about to explain will earn me insults from a selected few individuals because the same culprits are active here on Nairaland, so I am ready for that as well. If you go to Binance P2P, there is a heavy manipulation going on there, and from my deductions, most of the big Binance P2P Merchants are united in carrying out this manipulation. Some of them even have over 2 Million dollars worth of USDT in their Binance P2P Funding which begs the question whether these people are truly Nigerians or probably foreigners making money from destroying the Nigerian economy. Many people might not understand the strategy these merchants use, therefore, I will try to break it down. This is how the manipulation works: 1. Lets assume that the Naira to Dollar is currently exchanging at the Parallel market for 1,500 Naira. On Binance P2P, the group of Merchants will create multiple fake ads claiming that they will buy your USDT for 1,700 Naira(way above the parallel market price). I call these ads "fake" because they will set a minimum limit above 5Million naira, which means if you want to sell your USDT to them at this exorbitant rate that they created, you must be selling a usdt value worth over 5Million Naira at once. This strategy works in filtering out majority of average Nigerians that want to sell their USDT to these Merchants. Meaning these fake ads will remain at the top of the p2p "sell" section for as long as these group of Merchants want it to remain. And if by chance someone who has enough USDT to meet the minimum limit decides to sell to these merchants, they will simply cancel the trade, and create another ad. 2. Now because these group of merchants have filled the P2P "sell" section with these fake ads claiming to buy your USDT at an exorbitant rate of 1,700 NGN, they have automatically shifted the P2P price of Naira to USD to 1,700 Naira, and now they will be selling their USDT to the public under the "buy" section above 1,700 Naira. Now - unlike the fake ads they created with a minimum limit that is above 5Million Naira to discourage sellers for selling to them at this high rate - when they are selling their USDT at this already manipulated price, you will find limit as low as 4,000 Naira because they want to sell to the Public at the exorbitant price they created. Binance P2P is the new AbokiFx where BDC operators get their current price of Dollar from. The fake price originating from there is in turn used by the BDC operators to set their Dollar selling prices even without any corresponding demand. But the interesting part is that these BDC operators won't buy from you at any rate close to the exorbitant price they are selling the dollar to you. Here in Benin city, even though the parallel market price of Naira is above 1,600 Naira, the Abokis hardly buy your dollar for above 1,500 Naira but they will sell to you only above 1,700 Naira. Some people might argue that if Binance is to blame, how come the official exchange rate is now above 1,500NGN to 1 USD? The answer to that is simple. Each time the rate in the Parallel market moves up, the CBN is forced to also adjust official rates upwards in order to close the gap between both windows or else the black market rate will be too wide that it will create an irresistible opportunity for round-tripping. There is a huge rot in the entire BDC system in Nigeria that I don't think this CBN governor has any idea how deep it really goes.

I greet the house. Guys please I'm planning to apply to nursing program at VPU Lublin for the winter intake. I've familiarised myself with the school's requirement and I have all my documents ready but earlier today, a friend who is a travel agent advised me against aspiring to study in Poland by this time because their embassy in Abuja rejects majority of study visa applications even when you submit all their visa requirements correctly. I want to know how true this information is before I go and waste my money in getting admission only to be denied visa by their embassy. |
Please watch this video in order to help you understand the kind of demons in power that we the Nigerian youths are up against https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtdT4fTKi2Y |
Soldiers just killed 3 youths at upper mission extension junction by Benin-Auchi road a few hours ago. I couldn't get close to take pictures of the dead bodies because of the pandemonium that broke out as an aftermath. But a lot of others were also injured as a result of the military attack. It is obvious the northern cabals at aso rock behind that puppet impersonating the late Buhari has deployed hausa soldiers to Benin city with a shoot at sight order. Let those cabals know that their days are numbered already. They are all going to pay for their atrocities. Soon aso rock will be overtaken by the masses. We're not stopping until Nigeria is redeemed from these bloodsuckers we have as leaders. A new Nigeria is what we want. God bless Nigeria. |
The kind tears wey gather for my eyes as I watched the lekki massacre videos ehh, my heart just de boil with anger... There was a country #endbadgovernance #NewNigeria |
#ENDSARS is not about ending the rogue police unit known as SARS. It was the push needed to nudge Nigerian youths out of their slumber. Everyone has been complaining about joblessness, insecurity, poor health, poor infrastructure, lack of electricity and so on, while the few elites loot our treasury with reckless abandonment. As at today, all political office holders are in an unspoken competition on who can build the most expensive mansion in Abuja. Political office holders are only accorded respects based on how much money they're able to amass / embezzle while in office. We youths are not proud to keep on running abroad to be treated as second class citizens because our stupid and senseless leaders are competing among themselves on who can embezzled the most money. The old Nigeria needs to be brought down for a new Nigeria to rise. A Nigeria that will show the whites that black people can build a proper civilization of their own accord, A Nigeria that black people the world over will adore and desire to visit. A Nigeria where tourism thrives and citizens' life is valued and adequately protected. Nigeria needs to go back to its parliamentary & regional based system of government the way it used to be before 1966. Security, power supply, resource control and other economic backbones of a nation needs to be controlled by each region. The right to peaceful protest must be fully guarded at all times. The 1999 constitution is a scam that needs to be abolished now. Say no to systemic islamization and quota system implemented by the few northern elites. How long will the few united northern oligarchist keep siphoning the resources from the south by using the divide and rule tactic? As at today, all federal institutions in Southern Nigeria are made up of over 80% Northerners. The ENDSARS protest is gradually taking a sensible direction and in a few days/weeks from now, that insensitive tribal bigot and inconsequential dullard we call our president will be ousted from office and an interim president will be announced to oversee the transitioning of the old constitution to a new progressive constitution that will ensure prosperity of Nigerian masses through regional government and serve as a warning to future aspiring corrupt and insensitive leaders. I'm fully in support of regional government. If the central authority of South South region were to be in say maybe Delta, it would be easier for the central authority to be held accountable because the seat of power is close to the People. Why should southerners have to go to the north (Abuja) to protest over their grievances? The China anti-corruption law on political office holders need to be applied in Nigeria also, all our corrupt leaders that brought Nigeria down from being one of the most prosperous nations during the early 70s to becoming a failed state as it is today must all be tried and sentenced accordingly for their crimes. We kept quiet for too long while those potbellied gluttons in PDP and APC keep mortgaging our future away. Youths, let not the labor of our heroes past be in vain. It is time for a new Nigeria. #ENDSARS #ENDBADGOVERNANCE #NEWNIGERIA |
Shogun200:Not wanting to be a pessimist but if one were to go by what happened during the last phone appointment booking, one can easily infer that getting Polish visa as at now from Nigeria is not as straightforward a process as they try to make us believe on their site. Anyone wanting to argue with me should consider the following : The embassy stated that they can only attend to 10 national visa applicants daily from Monday through Thursday. That means they're supposed to have 40 slots available per week. Now their new phone booking system is spaced into an interval of two weeks, this means 80 slots ought to have been available during each appointment booking time. If 80 appointments were given out during the last phone appointment time, how come they switched off their booking line a little over an hour? how come no active member on this platform got a date? Except those making bogus claims about how their magic whatsapp group members got dates. |
Ahzmond:Some people will hate you for saying the truth though. I think Nigerians should forget about Germany for now. From the current indices and trends, a wise person will be able to tell that the reason why Nigerian government are delaying to announce the reopening of its international airports and flights is because they are scared of the impending embarrassment that awaits them in the international community due to their corrupt method of handling the corona virus outbreak in the country. Senegal reopened their international airports and EU wasted no time in banning all travelers from Senegal. Senegal returned the favor by banning people from EU countries as well. There is the belief among the Nigerian government that the same scenario is bound to play out once Nigeria announces the reopening of its international airports. Except in Nigeria's case, President Buhari is simply going to turn a deaf ear as usual. Even if the EU doesn't issue an outright travel ban on Nigerians, Donald Trump is going to waste no time in issuing a travel ban on all Nigerian travelers (in his attempt to garner votes from white supremacist Americans during the forthcoming election in America), with EU likely to follow suit afterwards. This is the major reason why Nigerian govt have not opened international airports. Nigeria has become a dreg among the comity of nations. This is certainly the worst time to be a Nigerian traveler. For those who are already depressed and those soon to be, there are OTC antidepressant drugs available in the pharmacy near you. Please don't use this opportunity as an excuse to become alcoholics or drug addicts. |

A Seattle man who spent two months in hospital battling COVID-19 has been billed $1.12 million for his treatment. Michael Flor, 70, was admitted to Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah on March 4 after testing positive for the coronavirus. He spent 62 days in the facility, before making a miraculous recovery. After his release on May 6, Flor thought the harrowing experience was behind him - until he was hit with the 181-page bill. 'I opened it and said 'Holy s**t!' ' Flor told The Seattle Times Saturday. The bill features nearly 3,000 itemized charges, which evens out to around 50 for each day of his stay. In total, he was billed $408,912 for 42 days spent in an intensive care room equipped with a special isolation chamber and $82,215 for ventilator use that lasted 29 days. The Seattle Times reports that 'for the two days when Flor's heart, kidneys and lungs were all failing and he was nearest death' doctors spent nearly $100,000 on treatments to try prevent him from passing away. Nearly a quarter of the $1.12 million bill was made up of drug costs Source https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8417781/Seattle-man-70-receives-1-1MILLION-hospital-bill-coronavirus-treatment.html |

budaatum:From your comments, you seem to be one of those average income-earning Nigerians who have never traveled to first world countries to see how things are done. I agree with the facts presented by ruudvannisteroy. Nigeria was destined to be a failed state and anyone trying to go against the status quo is bound to end up jailed or killed. However, all hopes are not yet lost. Those kleptomaniacs we have as leaders were products of a faulty electoral system. If we want the best candidates to emerge victorious in elections, two laws first needs to be passed by the NA. 1. A point based voting system should be introduced. You can't equate the vote of ONE illiterate with that of a professor. The reason dumb leaders are elected over credible ones in Nigeria is because majority of Nigerians are dumb illiterates. They lack the mental capacity to process logic. During election, the only thing these illiterates can think of are things like "na our person be dis", "na jagaban go fit share money for us". The morons fail to see the short and long term effects of their actions. And after voting the kleptomaniacs, these morons are the same people that will be used as political touts and internet propagandists to ensure their overlords holds on to office while doing nothing except looting state resources and appointing his kinsmen as collaborators. In the point-based voting system, votes casts by illiterates with no primary school education = 0.5 points, primary school cert holders= 1point, high school cert holders = 2 point, higher national degree holders = 5points, bachelor's degree holders = 7 points, master's & PhD holders = 10 points. 2. Gradualism should be introduced as part of qualifications for governorship and presidential aspirants. This means that a candidate isn't qualified to contest for a governorship office unless they must have served as either LG chair, state HOA member, commissioner or deputy governor within the previous 9 years. And a presidential aspirant must have served as either a governor, legislator, minister or vice president within the previous 9 years. Period! No one should use Trump as any example here. Nigeria is nothing like America therefore, different stroke applies. The advantage of this Gradualism is that the electorate will be able to observe the achievements of an aspirant in their previously held offices before deciding whether to vote them into such a sensitive office. Without the above two laws, Nigeria is going to keep getting kleptomaniacs like Atiku, Bubu, Tinubu et al as leaders. For those Nigerians hoping things will get better after Bubu leaves office in 2023, keep dreaming. |

don't worry, soon you will start hearing some high profile deaths in Nigeria due to 'illness'. I wonder why our god of men have not yet started dishing out this |
mvem:In a few years from now, you will know the truth about the true scale of direct deaths that occurred in sub-saharan Africa due to Covid-19. As we speak, the virus is silently spreading and many people are dying of it in sub saharan Africa. Doctors in these sub saharan countries are simply diagnosing it as pneumonia (difficulty in breathing) in the big hospitals around because they don't have the Covid-19 testing kits. |
I don't like the way NOUN is making it compulsory for all graduating students to journey to Abuja ooo Why can't NOUN send certificates to each of the state study centres for disbursement to graduating students? Why put the lives of over 20, 000 graduating students at the mercy of Fulani bandits and Islamic terrorists littering all the highways in Nigeria today, all because these graduants have to make a compulsory journey to Abuja for their certificates? Is it that the state study centres that were entrusted with conducting exams for these students amongst other functions, are not considered worthy of issuing certificates to the same student upon their graduation? Giving the present insecurity and unreported daily kidnappings and killings of Christians on the Kogi Abuja highway (talk less of the other highways connecting Abuja to Northern Nigeria), why can't NOUN protect the lives of its graduating students by allowing their respective study centres issue them certificates? Does NOUN think it is all the graduating students that can afford return flight tickets to Abuja? I understand that some students are super excited of wearing the convocation gown in Abuja during the forthcoming convocation. Some people may even attack me for raising the above concerns. But trust me, if you are a frequent traveler to Abuja through land as of recent, you will understand that forcing over 20,000 graduating students to ply those dangerous highways leading into Abuja just to attend their convocation and collect their certificates is a sign that NOUN cares less about the lives of its students. I feel sorry for those about to fall victims of the high insecurity in our Nigerian highways. Imagine spending over 4 years working hard to complete your degree program only to get kidnapped, beheaded by boko haram or shot dead on your way to collecting your certificate. Given the present insecurity in the Nigerian highways, NOUN should please review this compulsory journey of graduating student to Abuja. |

When I read a few days ago that China (Corona virus host) placed a visa ban on Nigeria that is free from Corona virus at the moment, I knew it is finished for Nigeria. This means that China are banning Nigeria that is Coronavirus-free from entering their country while China the epicenter of the virus are allowed to enter Nigeria at will. In the view of other countries, Nigeria is in the same category with failed nations like Somalia (well, reality in Northern Nigeria is not better than Somalia though). Imagine if the Corona virus were to have originated in Nigeria, the rest of the world, and even Ghana our neighbor, would have shut us out by now, maybe even using the excuse to further deport thousands of Nigerians out of their countries. My prediction is that as the death toll from Corona virus keeps rising, the Chinese are soon bound to be trooping out of their countries in search of warmer climates, as it is believed that most viruses fade away when exposed to warmer climate. Now, think of a country with warm weather + open border + visa on arrival. What country comes to mind? I advise my fellow Nigerians to brace up for impact as Corona virus as we speak has become inevitable, since Buhari has decided to do nothing to protect Nigerians at this time when all other sensible leaders are taking preemptive measures to protect their citizens from this Corona virus, (he's even on a tour to Ethiopia with his '2023 Imo stooge' as we speak). I keep saying it that 'one Nigeria' has failed. Southerners ought to wisen up and disconnect these Northerners now. Northern Nigeria is connected to Southern Nigeria by just ordinary 2 bridges (Lokoja and Mokwa-Jebba Bridge) while the east is connected by just the Niger bridge. A group from the south ought to do the needful now. |
Feb 01 - USA Places Visa Ban on Nigeria; citing 'security concerns' in Nigeria as the reason for the ban. This cannot be disconnected from the recent shocking news of Buhari releasing around a thousand captured boko haram terrorists from military detention so they can continue their genocide against Christians and southern Nigerians. Feb 02 - Pastor Adeboye Leads RCCG Protest Against Insecurity In Nigeria and the current genocide against christians and Southern Nigerians being perpetrated by Northern Islamic jihadists in corroboration with the FG. Feb 03 - A Fulani group called FUNAM publicly claimed ownership of Nigeria, threatening to exile Southerners up to the Atlantic with the excuse that it was the destiny bestowed on Uthman Dan Fodio which would have been fulfilled since 1816 if not for the obstruction of this great assignment by the British. Feb. 04 - China places visa ban on Nigeria due to the Corona viral disease plaguing China. Wow! China are banning Nigeria that is Coronavirus-free from entering their country while China the epicenter of the virus are allowed to enter Nigeria at will. Meanwhile, a few days ago, Buhari was busy issuing threats to families of those murdered by Fulani in Plateau not to retaliate their aggressors. More loading... |
I'm also waiting for EFCC, SARS et al to issue their wailing statements when the truth is staring them in the face. The present Nigeria is a dying country under a tyrant. We can complain about corruption from now till a thousand years and nothing would still happen. Watch the news and see how Iraqis are protesting against their government for a change. Can igbos, yorubas and hausas unite to protest against all these gluttons we have as leaders? No! That is because water and oil don't mix. Yorubas, middle beltans, igbo, northerners and Niger deltans can never mix because we are a totally different set of people. 'One Nigeria' is a scam. It only creates an easy avenue for leaders to loot loot and loot without the fear of a united masses that can protest and demand for a better leadership. The North are gradually becoming new age colonial masters over the South under the guise of 'one Nigeria' . They plunder our resources, rape our women and kill our people through their proxies known as Boko Haram and herdsmen. See how they humiliated Onnoghen out of office and replaced him with the present 'quota' CJN. There is even a covert cleansing of military personnel of southern origin that is going on within the Nigerian army through the use of Bokoharam. For corruption to be reduced, Referenda has to be held for each southern ethnic group to decide who wants to remain tied to this curse. Our only hope is the map below.
|
I have a dream that one day we Africans will be hosting our own grammies and artists from USA and the likes of Britain will only be included in the second-tier 'world' category. ... But in that dream, Nigeria's forced marriage was no more.
|
This federal govt-sponsored community police constable is a trick on southerners. The Northern muslims are currently on a 'holy war' to gradually eliminate southern christian men and take over our lands and women. And all federal security bodies including the NPF as it stands today, are under oath not to arrest, detain or prosecute any Hausa/fulani cow header in any part of southern Nigeria regardless of their crimes. SARS and EFCC are used to frustrate and reduce the population of civilian men in the south. I cried when I read about the present situation of that Leah Shaibu today. Would Buhari have done nothing had it been she were a northern Muslim kidnapped by Christians in the south? The agenda of the FG is to oust southerners from their indigenous settlement and flood the south with Islamic northern cow herders so that Nigeria becomes a fully Islamic state. Boko haram and Fulani herdsmen are simply used as vanguard for achieving this agenda. The situation will get worse in a few months when the Jihadist in power starts sponsoring another set of bill to further empower the northerners over us southerners. This forced marriage has reached its expiry date. Every ethnicity within Nigeria has a right to self -determination.
|
EFCC fight against corruption indeed. Nigerians ought to know the truth. The present EFCC under Magu does nothing when it comes to fighting economic and finanancial crimes (corruption) in Nigeria. They are just an institution used by Buhari to witch hunt those perceived as political threats to his fellow Northerners. In reality, EFCC has ruined lots of legitimate businesses in Southern parts of Nigeria through their illegal raids on hotels and nightclubs. This forced marriage called Nigeria has reached its expiry date.
|
APC and PDP are same crooks. Buhari already secured one of the much needed south east state (Imo) that the North intends using to sideline the south west and retain a northern presidency come 2023 . Akwa ibom probably the agreed settlement chip between the two crooked parties. #ArExit #OdExit #RExit #BExit #MExit
|
Book haram can't stop because it is built and thrives on the cultures and Islamic traditions of the core north. The earlier the southerners walk away, the better for us all.

Now I understand why Trump, and government of other civilized nations hates islam |
