Lol. Momma that color is ur baby's original color. Most babies are born fair and gradually darken within the ist 2 yrs of their lives.
Know this and have peace.Cussons for me is good. You don't want to start using products detrimental to ur baby's fragile skin/organs.

I didn't quite get the hair part.

Start with not oiling her hair everyday. In my personal experience, my baby got dark in the 2 months her Grandma was bathing her and pouring oil on the fontanelle that was dripping down her face. Caused her rashes too. All I did was stop the oil when I took over and her color returned.
If you can afford it, Aveeno and Sebamed are very hypoallergenic good products that wouldn't irritate your babies skin.

Also, the 'hair thinning' might be cradle cap. That needs to be treated. Is her scalp dry and scally?

I’d have said I should put mouth in the matter on if you can take it or not but I’m a lawyer not a doctor (doctors in the house can help out).
If your OB gave you then I want to assume he knows what he’s doing and knows what’s best for you.

Ampiclox is an antibiotic, never heard of paraffin. Anything not recommended by your doctor should be ignored for now , this is not the time to self medicate.

I think you should be able to take coke depending on how far gone you are. Last week I was also told I had low blood sugar and my doc said I should increase my carbohydrate intake, salt intake and also drink coke. And since then I've increased my sugar intake.
Let's wait for other Mama's input as well

It's actually low. What did your doctor say? Did they place on any meds or diet? I don't know much about it but I think diet can help.
