So on Sunday 10th November, I started feeling less fetal activities. I jumped round the house, picked my belly, but baby wasn't responding properly.

Immediately after my exams on Thursday, I turned off my cell phones, checked into the hospital, and got booked for elective CS. 4.38pm on the 14th of November, 2019, my son was born weighing 2.5kg!

Hello everyone, thank you all for the congratulatory messages. I'll try to make it as short as possible.

So, my EDDs were 25th, 17th, 14th and 18th but I put to bed on the 12th of November at 39wks+2days by 4:27pm to a beautiful girl who weighed 3.5kg and gave me 2 internal tears and one external tear the nurse had to give to let my big baby easy passage to her new world but in all I thank God, he already planned everything for ease.

So, Tuesday was my antenatal and I didn't want to go, already told my husband that I wouldn't be going because I didn't want to waste the day on just the same visits with nothing different from previous visits because I wasn't having any symptoms of labor and also because the doctor had put me 1 week ahead of my own calculation based on my first ultrasound. This made me think I still have about 2wks to be 40wks.

Tuesday morning, my hubby said I should go and I obeyed. On getting to the hospital at 8am, my contraction started getting regular at 20 minutes apart. It was my turn to see the doctor around 11am and while we were talking about my vitals, I only mentioned that I noticed the regular contractions which was already 8mimutes apart at that time. He said he must do a VE which he did with a nurse and discovered I was 4cm dilated with no pain, no water break, no previous bloody discharge until the VE.

He told me he can't let me go home that I would most likely put to bed around 4/5pm so I should call someone to bring my bag ( I haven't packed it yet although everything had been bought. We just moved to our new place less than 2wks ago plus I just finished my MBA semester exam and that's why I didn't pack early). Anyway, I called my sister and she packed it, called hubby too.

I was placed on oxytocin to hasten everything. I got to 8cm dilation still no pain or any water breakage or anything. The doctor told the nurse to rupture the membrane and then I started feeling labor pain and in about 30 minutes, my baby was out. I was sutured where the nurse cut and it was discovered I had 2 internal cuts cos I was bleeding. All was sutured and I could walk around that same day and was discharged by 10am the next day. Baby, mummy and daddy are all fine. God perfected everything and I give all glory to him.

My beautiful princess made her grand entrance today at 4:27pm at 3.5kg through VD with tear. (39wks + 2days).

Hello Mamas,

Please is it normal for babies to have constant hiccups at close to 40 weeks. My baby gets hiccups normally but it seems to have increased in the past few days (she’s had it about 4 times today already). Please help.

VERY VERY VERY LONG POST ALERT

So after testing positive for pregnancy and registering for ANC at 7weeks. I had blood tests done and when I went for my 2nd appointment, I was told my blood showed my random blood sugar was at borderline and my urine tested positive for glucose, so they took another blood and repeated the glucose test.....

Thank you momma and to everyone who mentioned me. I got tired of replying each messages . Thank you so much. This thread really helped me with all my rants. I’m so happy finally. Everyone around me is happy. I remember I started my journey on this thread saying I might abort the baby. Infact I had bought the pills from a friend . Was just scared to take it. And I was looking for a hospital too. But I’m so happy I kept the baby. Fact , I wouldn’t have forgiven myself ever. He’s so perfect. I’m so overwhelmed with love. His daddy is so in love with him too. I don’t even know where to start from . But thank you all. The journey was really stressful o and my baby disfigured my perfect body but I can say it was worth it . My prayer is to continue to feel this way about him and he shall grow in the ways of the Lord and bring happiness to me and everyone that comes his way..... also cs isn’t as bad as projected to be. They made me to start walking the next morning. The cs started by past 8pm I think. It was really difficult at first . But once you push yourself. You’ll get better . I’m still trying to bend down and all. But in all I’m healing well and I’m glad . So this is me signing out officially from this thread and graduating to the childbirth thread . I love you all . You all don’t know how you help with your support.theres always someone to reach out to you and connect with you.... Best E family ever...

To my lovely e family here, My Prince Charming arrived last night nov 4 weighing 3.4kg via emergency c section as the cord was tied around the neck after being in labour for 2 days and I didn’t dilate more than 2cm but I saw hell. At first I was leaking so I was admitted . Then my water broke last night but still no dilating. My boy is the cutest thing ever. Both mom and boy are doing absolutely great. Have to heal now
