Thanks for joining me to query denex. Anyway, the Bible has spoken about such people in these last days , They will come up with false/erroneous teachings. And they are doing that to their own destruction. We that are still sensitive to the injunctions of the Scriptures just have to beware, lest we are led away with their damnable heresies.

Of course, one could see that nowadays, people no longer fear God. They find ways of using their shortcomings to justify their evil perpetrations.

Our prayer should be that God will rescue them from the hand of the devil who has endued them to be instruments of error peddlers. Shall we pray for them?

Drusilla had made a nice and thoughtful post. Honesty pays a lot my people. You can't tell when the reward will come to boost your status if you practice it, and neither can you tell when the retribution will come to bite you and spell a regretable doom on you.

Righteousness exalts a nation, and sin is a reproach to any people (Proverbs 14:34). Let the righteousness (HONESTY) start at our little corners.

I concur with the submission below, This is nice enough for us to know how to approach God in our Prayers irrespective of the circumstances.


Jesus, in the book of Mathew (the Lord's prayer) implicitly stated that prayer is a two way communication between God and man. When we pray, we therefore must have the attitude that we are talking to God 'our father' and this has to be done with respect and good manner.If you want to discuss with your earthly father, it would look absurd if you approach him shouting and jumping in an inordinate manner.However, we must not forget that there may be cases whereby desperation may make one to shout/cry/weep (like Hannah (when asking for a child),Jesus (in Gethsemane) and Jacob (when he had to wrestle with an angel from God) but this does not usually happen.

As for the 'fire from heaven, fall down and die type of prayers', sometimes they are relevant if and only if one is absolutely sure that the devil/demons ae being addressed and not a fellow human.

However,we need to know that the best way to pray is to be led by the Spirit of God.

The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein --- Psalm 24:1.

Nay, in all these things (The Problem Of 'Omo Onile') we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. --- Romans 8:37
