The more this government persecutes its perceived enemies, the more they are sowing the seeds of disintegration of our country.

No one wishes to be part of a country in which apartheid, genocide, ethnic cleansing, islamisation, state-sponsored terror and religious bigotry and the selective application of justice is alive and well.

If u want a country to remain together u do not go out of your way to kill, destroy, intimidate and tell lies about those that oppose u, that criticise u and that are not in your political party.

You do not try to relegate Christianity into a second rate faith. U do not drag our nation into a military coalition of sunni muslim countries.

U do not get into bed with the Jihadists. U do not refuse to condemn the heinous activities of ur kinsmen, the Fulani herdsmen.

U do not try to jail ur opponents for no just cause or attempt to silence them with sensational and sallacious lies.

U do not use the security agencies to insult and threaten them on a daily basis and demonise them with half truths and mendacities before the entire world.

U do not impoverish the people with half-baked and ill-conceived economic and fiscal policies which have resulted in untold hardship, an unprecedented economic recession, high food and fuel prices, endless fuel queues, high electricity tariffs, the exile of the U.S. dollar, the unofficial devaluation of the naira and the lowest generation of electrical power since 1999.

U do not implement an economic policy that is nonsensical, counter-productive and irrational and that has turned us into a nation of poverty-striken paupers, destitutes and beggars.

U do not use the Armed Forces or ethnic militias that are armed with AK 47's to kill, crush and terrorise those that you consider to be slaves and second class citizens. U do not attempt to break the spirits of those that refuse to worship you or bow down before you with brutal aggression and naked intimidation.

That does not breed love, peace prosperity and unity: it breeds hate, suspicion, fear, rage and ultimately war and bitter conflict.
I do not believe in violence and neither do I call for or support the idea of an armed struggle. I am a man of peace and like Sir Winston Churchill once said I believe that "jaw jaw is better than war war".

However when a people are pushed up against a wall and the government has as its primary objective the silencing and cowering of the opposition things behin to change very quickly as the blood of the tormented boils and the hearts of the oppressed hardens.

Where the voice of reason and peaceful dissent is reigned in and silenced, history proves that those angry young men and women that do not share or care for our disposition for peaceful dialogue will eventually rise up, push the moderates aside and pick up their weapons in an attempt to break the yoke of slavery and liberate themselves from the bondage of servitude.

But you know that the circumstances under which the present administration is working is far worse than when PDP was in power. There is a global economic melt down due to the slump in crude oil prices. So don't blame Buhari. Blame the poor economy.

Business / NBL, Guinness, NBC, 7UP, Flour Mills, Wampco, Others To Sack Workers - Vanguard by JennyNwa22(f): 6:14pm On Mar 23, 2016
By Victor Ahiuma-Young

ORGANISED Labour on Wednesday raised alarm that the food, beverage and tobacco sector of the nation’s economy was on the verge of shutting down and that over three million jobs were at risk due to the inability of companies to source foreign exchange for raw material importation to facilitate operations.

Already leading companies in the sector, such as Nigerian Flour Mills, NFM, Nigerian Breweries Limited, NBL, Guinness Plc, Nigerian Bottling Company, NBC, 7 UP Bottling Company Plc, Friesland Campina Wamco Plc, among others, have written to labour for discussions on retrenchment of workers.

In the last three months, no fewer than 1, 500 workers have been sacked in the sector as employers seek ways of coping with foreign exchange crisis, among others.
At a briefing in Lagos, leaders of Food, Beverage and Tobacco Senior Staff Association, FOBTOB, called on government to intervene to save the industry and over three million jobs.

President of FOBTOB, Quadri Olaleye, claimed that employers in the sector had devised every opportunity to sack workers, decrying that b etween the 2012 and the first half of 2015, over 3,000 workers were sacked on the guise of re-engineering, restructuring, right sizing, downsizing, redundancy, re-organisation, etc.

He lamented that over the years, the same excuse of difficult business terrain, dwindling profit, irregular and insufficient power supply, and so on had been given.
He said: “The current situation has reached a pathetic level, because it seems all the employers in our sector are in competition with each other on who can lay off the most workers.

''Every company is now calling for a downsizing of the workforce, and this time under the guise of lack of foreign exchange due to the federal government's recent policy on foreign exchange.

''We are aware that not all the raw materials used in our industry can be sourced locally. Where they can be found, they are mostly not available in commercial quantity. That is why it is imperative that the federal government, through the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, takes a second look at the policy on foreign exchange again to avoid shutting down the companies in our industry.''

Olaleye insisted that the union was disturbed that workers in the sector were gradually being turned to endangered species.

At a time when Nigerians were expecting respite from the pangs of the lingering fuel scarcity in the country, the Minister of State for Petroleum, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu has apparently dashed their hopes, stating that the current queues at gas stations would persist till late May.

The minister who doubles as the Group Managing Director, GMD of the Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation, NNPC added that he was not a magician to make the queues disappear overnight.

According to him, it was even a "magic" that the stations were still getting volume of products they dispense to the public, judging from the prevailing circumstances at NNPC.

The Minister also revealed NNPC's import rates have moved form 50 percent to all- time 100 percent, saying that the 445 barrels allocated to crude swap now service 50 to 55 percent importation of refined product.

But giving a glimpse of hope on how to achieve lasting solution to the product scarcity, Kachikwu stated that government was working to beef up the reserves.
He stated that the when the refineries come on full stream, locally refined products would be left unsold in the reservoir to boost supply and availability of the products.

The minister was fielding questions with the State House Correspondents after leading officials of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas (NUPENG) and Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) to a meeting with president Mohammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja on Wednesday on when the queues at the gas stations would disappear.

He said: "One of the trainings I did not receive is that of a magician but I am working very hard to ensure some of these issues go away. And let's be honest, for the five, six months we have been here, NNPC has moved from a 50 percent importer of products to basically a 100 percent importer. And the 445 barrels that were allocated was to cover between 50 and 55 percent importation.

"So, it is quite frankly sheer magic that we even have the amount of products at the stations. We are looking to see how to get foreign exchange imput. The president and I discussed extensively on how to get more crude directed at importation. His excellency will rather have less crude but have individuals in the society suffer less with inconveniences than have more crude and have them continue to suffer.

Politics / Buhari, African Most Incompetent, Unserious And Clueless Leader – UK Study by JennyNwa22(f): 11:36am On Mar 23, 2016
President Muhammadu Buhari’s election victory in the opinion and expectation of majority of Nigerians and African was seen as an opportunity for a total transformation of Africa’s sleeping giant, but the events in the last 10 months have shown otherwise.

According to a study by Nigerian Governance Watch, a United Kingdom (UK) based Nigerian Professionals group, revealed that President Buhari is beret of idea to manage, have no focus, unstable and extremely incompetent in every sphere to shape the affairs of any Nigeria.

The group come short of blaming the President, but Nigerians who knew the antecedent of Muhammadu Buhari while in office in 1984 to 1985 and blindly went for a man who have not created anything, but only destroys the gains of his predecessors through his thoughtless policies and zero understanding of the workings in a public sector.

As a military leader, Buhari killed the Naira, killed the Economy, destroyed our relationship with the rest of the world, polarized the country on tribe and religion, impoverished Nigerians to the extent that Nigerians were queuing up for essential commodities like Milk, Rice and Bread.

On Buhari’s return in May 2015, he has within this short period, turned Africa’s biggest and fastest growing economy to a shrinking one. Crashing the GDP from about 7.0% to 2.4%, Inflation jumping to 11.6% from 9%, over 2 million Nigerians losing their jobs, FDI dropped by over 85%, Maternal and Infant mortality is at all time high as result of poverty, malnutrition and diseases.

In a dwindling revenue, Buhari did the unheard of, instead of reducing the budget, he increased the budget from N4.3trn to N6.07trn. He presented the most fraudulent, inflated and irredeemably padded budget.
The Nigerian Governance Watch stated that they were not surprised, as President Buhari they described as a “very serious” leader, in a recession period did not deem it fit to appoint a single Economist among the 36 names in his cabinet.

They frowned at the president’s inability to set up an economic Team after 10 months in office and only resorting to intuition, thumb rules and application of Adam and Eve economies in this 21st century.

On the political front, the condemned President’s deliberate interventions in the electoral process and his use of security agencies to intimidate the opposition and the assassination and killing of people of diverse opinion.

The UK based group, according to Hope For Nigeria is worried that President Buhari who benefited in one of the best organised elections in Africa just few months ago have been unable to successfully organise any election in the country.

His determination to ensure that his party members and cronies win all the elections has lead numerous killings, kidnapping and in most cases annulling results or declaring them inconclusive where his party is losing hopefully, like the case of Rivers state re-run election.

In conclusion, according to Hope For Nigeria, the group advised President Buhari to swallow his pride and recall some of the experts from previous governments that meticulously guided the Nigerian economy to be the largest in the continent. They added that It is not about Buhari as the leader, but the paramount thing is the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians.
