Usually like evaluate 1st degree and masters separately. hotD: hot, pls confirm your school are in naija or foreign. I want to use ICES for my wife too. UI.
School is in naija, infact maiduguri...pls go ahead if somebody from d exams and record can just mail it to dem,dat wld be fine and i guess saves money and is faster |

Hi hot, pls confirm your school are in naija or foreign. I want to use ICES for my wife too. UI. hotD: I said i should share this...For those that need to do ECA,pls use ICES...i got mine within three weeks and its alot easier process. My school sent my transcript to them as an email, and i sent my documents to them too via the same email,no need for reconfirmation from the school as long as the school sends the result to them via its email. After that u make payment,275$ and within three weeks your evaluation is ready. My hubby's ECA is stuck with IQAS now,and he started d process before me. |

Calm down and prepare for the other 3 parts on Saturday. Don't give up yet when it's not yet over. You might just be surprise as I was when I did mine. I never experecetit . I surprisingly passed. CNNN: I took speaking test today. What I gave at the exam was nothing close to my best. It was my first attempt. I'm registering another test asap. Feeling sad |

This is Wawwuuuu!!!! Any Child involved?... if any where are they? with woman or man. Which ever way, man should go ahead and enter pool stating wify is not accompanying him. Hope he gets ITA soon. I advise you keep Canny plan coded away from wify (such wify is a desperado). Dunni1113: Good afternoon house.. please my brother needs a professional advice, he sponsored wify to US to visit her brother, but she refused to come back. Asked him never to contact her again and even disabled all points of her contact and it's been almost a year. Her mother supports her fully.
He has his ECA and IELTS the only thing holding him down is this issue. And she is presently in US illegally Abeg help a brother!!! |

As advised by Abby2017... Option 1 is not possible, Your best bet is option 2, enter pool with 425, start spouse ECA that should get you 10 points..totalling 435 which should be ok, to get ITA. with that you dont need spouse IELTS. stealth02: Scenario 1: I submit EE profile with a CRS score of 437 receive ITA apply get AOR then add spouse afterwards. I understand it's possible for singles that get married after AOR to do this. Can married couples do same?
Scenario 2: I apply from the onset as PA (MSc, 3yrs Exp) with my spouse (BSc, OND, 2yrs Exp) CRS score drops to 425 meaning my spouse would have to do IELTS; assuming a minimum score of 6,6,6,6 in L,S,R,W brings joint CRS to 435 |

Please I also have a sister(blood sister now), who is willing to assist with POF (almost 80%) when I get ITA. How can she do that for me. Although my ECA is still pending sha. UNilag made mistake on year of award. Hopefully get it sorted out now that NASU is back to work. einsteino: The much she can do is help you with a gift deed for your POF. but she can not improve your CRS score since she isnt your blood/half/adopted sister. if she were, you would have gotten extra 15 points. |

I think it's a surface mail. Mine verification was sent since 22nd August. Yet my contact claimed not to av recieved it. Already requested Wes to resend. belushi7: Good day all. I will like to confirm from those that have used WES for UNILAG certificates/transcripts. How long does it take confirmation requests from WES to get to UNILAG? Thought this is an email and should be instant. WES notified me of sending for the confirmation on Friday last week 1/09/17 and my contact in Unilag claimed they haven't received anything when I enquired today.
Will appreciate response for anyone with knowledge or experience with the time line for this WES confirmation mails to UNILAG. Wouldn't mind hooking me up with any known contacts that can help as well in UNILAG.
Thanks. |

Listening is a game of full concentration. Once you miss to track a question while listening, my Rule is do NOT attempt to recollect. You'l end up missing more. Also try to remote all environmental disturbance. I had to ask to put off standing AC next to me. Above added to good prep. Sure to av the required good score. Nogen: My 2nd IELTS wasn't so good- L 7.5, R 6.5, W 7 and S 7.5. I lost concentration during the listening and missed 6 answers. I knew after the exam that getting 8 points would be a miracle. I got 8 in my first attempt and 6.5 for S, R , W. I did study for 2 weeks to get this new score.
How can one improve on reading? Any materials to use? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by jergins: 4:21am On Sep 02, 2017 |
You score is almost good enough. However, you need get atleast 8 in listening but got 7.5. Resit for the .5 or go for clb 10(LRWS -9888 I think) that gives you extra 12 point) Do you have masters or 2 degrees evaluated? That gives 50 point with combination good english.
Lastly, hubby doesn't have to have that so high score except he want to be principal applicant as well.. guses base score of 6s will give some point although the higher the point added upto 20 I tink. Spouse ECA could also earn you just anothwr 10 point.
[1quote author=nnekdre post=60031732]Hello, everyone pls I need your advice I am married with my ielts scores of LSRW 7.5,8,7,8. Thanks for the response... sure I know it doesn't include transcript. Just degree and second degree certificate. Not transcript. GlitteringStar: Lol @bundled together
I believe what you meant by "all certificates" doesn't include your transcript (Your school will have to send that). You can merge all your certificates into a single PDF file before sending. |

Just remember to include on your entry when filling for ur spouse that it wasn't evaluated. So you won't have to upload anything regards that for him
[1quote author=Tee248490 post=59778355] Aww , I should have asked earlier. Would have gotten ITA on the last two draws. I thought it was mandatory to have his degree evaluated as well since LAUTECH on lock. Thank you tho. Now I know[/quote] |

Its not a must o do any, so far the Principal score is sure to make the cut off. However, to get more CRS( i think extra 30point) spouse may need to do both(ECA-10points, IELTS 20points max i think). So your choice. Tee248490: Please for those who applied as married, If the wife is the principal applicant, does the husband's academic qualification need evaluation as well or it's just his Ielts that is needed to apply. I would appreciate a response please |

UPDATED-- ICES seems to be the new ish o. Went through the website and seems best. Some catch!! Official documents. These documents must be sent directly to ICES from your educational institution or educational authority. In most cases an official transcript is sufficient as long as the completion of the award is noted within. If confirmation of the award is not present in the academic transcript, this information can arrive in letter form from the appropriate authority accompanying the official transcript of records. Please note these documents can also be sent by the academic authority directly to our office via email.
Cost - almost same cost(200CAD). plus they have package called RUSH HOUR -(400CAD) for each credential, meaning you pay more for e.g BSC. and MAsters or just stick to highest degree. Procesing time: Standard(5 weeks) RUSH HOUR(2-3 weeks) post reccieving all docs. Site- https://www.bcit.ca/ices/eca/requirements/index.shtmlWe need some1 experience though. 40manlappy: This interesting. From WES>IQAS>ICES. We move with the flow!
By the way, just a day or two away and so many pages to catch up with! |

Good day house, I am a fresh poster, however, I have been going through almost all post on the thread. I will be diving into the pool soonest( Pool of Bethseda ) Done my IELTS...good score CLB 9; WES almost complete. I need advise on few things as I beleive I WILL receive ITA as soon as I create my profile(I would have anyways if I created the profile before last draw). Now the issue is this. I have a baby on the way ( say Nov/Dec). 1. Should I go ahead with the profile, in case i get ITA shortly after will I be able to add the new baby even after ITA and Submission od app. 2. What document can I start preparing while I enter the pool and wait ITA. |
